Bought Coentrao and Alexis Sanchez as I wanted someone with pace and dribbling on the wing. However Coentrao got injured for 7-8 months before the league even started!!! So he won't be playing for me anymore on the demo :/ Trying to tutor the promising youngsters aswell. Shelvey tutored by Gerrard Wilson by Carragher Suso by Meireles Pacheco by Maxi Ngog by Torres Robinson by Aurelio Haven't found anyone to tutor Toni Silva yet. Great work by the SI team. You have set the becnhmark once again. One thing I would like to add is in relation to the Liverpool ownership issue. I assume your researches for Liverpool will have given you indepth information on NESV (our new owners). I say this because you still hear comments on ssn or by so called "respectable people" in football making comments about Joh Henry not being a billionaire. If only they had done their research before making such silly comments, they would realise John Henry is just the face of NESV. A further 16/17 other investers make up the NESV team, some of them billionaires themselves. I would hope this is taken into consideration when deciding how much money is available to spend on players when managing Liverpool. Of course I am not expecting a massive transfer budget like Man City but definitely alot more substantial than what we've been previously accustomed too. It's also important to know that with all acquisition debt being paid off in full by NESV, we are now in a strong financial position. Instead of paying £25m-£30m a year on interest each year like we had been doing under Hick's & Gillett, that has now been massively reduced to only £2m-£3m year. Add the £25m-£30m (we would normally pay on interest) to a reasonable transfer budget of (say) £20m per season plus player sales then that would obviously enable us to compete for almost any player we wanted. Our debt is now only 37m (this is normal as every business will have debt which is used for working capitall) which is one of the lowest in the premier league. stevie_G_32201 Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 i always seems to get the crap take overs, ie local business man with no investment not to worry, its only the demo the private chat thing is brilliant and i love the new press conferences, it makes me want to attend them all myself. ive ben trying 4 at the back, 2 cm 1 AMC and 3 strikers. i think this might work with decent players but all i have atm is an out of form torres, david ngog who seems to score for fun on this version and darius vassell who couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo. but if i were to bring in a couple of support strikers with possible "looks for pass rather than attempting to score" i think i might start seeing results from this formation. once i work out my formation and tactics ill get to work on the set-piece creator (another great addition imo) will also start to develop my yearly training again if anyone wants it like last year just post and ill upload it again. seemed to work fairly well last year, might even do a few youth schedules this year anyone up for using it? stevie G out. He's as useless as he is IRL. His 6 concentration is a killer. Sell Babel only if i can get in a good AML. Sell N'Gog and get a good backup striker. Buy Finnan for free as a good backup FB. So I guess I'm waiting until my pre-ordered full game comes out because my internet connection isn't working on the other computer. Can anyone give screenshots of Ngog and Suso please?
