rancer890
A 7.9 rating against East Timor and I didn't take home MoM honors I at least hope we beat them You lost to East Timor 2-0. You played with Joe Tompkins that game and I didn't feel like writing the result again. :o I also really hope you leave Brunei asap once you sign because that will really impede your development. Brunei isn't exactly a world-beating league.

NeoAC
I know what you mean about EHM07 rancer. I managed to win the Stanley Cup with the Leafs by trading away half their roster, getting Marty Turco for a song, and turning Marco Sturm into a 50 goal scorer. Now for a harder task I've been trying to get Halifax to the Memorial Cup, which has been taking forever. Lousy Gatineau.....

Now for a harder task I've been trying to get Halifax to the Memorial Cup, which has been taking forever. Lousy Gatineau..... Marco Sturm! At the junior level, I usually just trade for players sent down from their NHL clubs and go for it. That's how I won junior titles. Are you trying to play a career game? I've been playing mine with the following path, and been playing this save since 2008!!! Rouyn-Noranda - QMJHL (acquired the likes of Bourdon and Letang, won the Q, Memorial Cup runner-up) Florida Everblades - ECHL (1 championship) Chicago Wolves - AHL (did crap actually. Atlanta had horrible prospects ) Frolunda Indians - SEL (won 2 regular season titles, 1 overall title) St. Louis Blues - (where I am right now. Lost to Ovie and the Caps last season for the Stanley Cup, 2011-2012 ). Now in 2012-2013: Daugavins - Marleau - Mark Bell Jeff Campbell - Leino - Artukhin Oshie - Betts - Jason Ward Grabovski - regen - Shkotov Colin White - Eric Johnson Mark Katic - Seidenberg Tulupov - Ryan Wilson Hannu Toivonen Konstantin Barulin I also have Toews who is usually in 2nd line centre and then Leino goes down to the 3rd line and Betts leads the checking line. I have Stephen Lund and Tyler Cuma in the minors and can slot into my defense in case of injury. ---- Sorry lads for going a bit off-topic, I'll try and stick with Asiavision news. fuzzrab
Come on Barca give Haggis some 1st team footy. An average of 2.5 goals a game, even for the U19's surely merits at least a bench spot. I guess as we are challenging for the title they dont want to risk it. hopefully next year i get some game time.

But Canadians really like talking hockey! Well I tried doing an unemployed career once but I never got hired, so I normally just pick teams that I feel like managing and seeing how long it takes me to get them the title. Toronto surprising was the quickest one I've completed so far. Only took me 2 years. I beat the Sharks for it too Had a pretty stacked lineup considering. Steve Sullivan-Mats Sundin-Martin Erat Marco Sturm-Dustin Penner-Alex Steen Jussi Jokinen-Tomas Fleischmann-Matt Barnaby Kirk Maltby-Blair Betts-Boyd Gordon Kimmo Timonen-Bryan McCabe Branislav Mezei-Dan Boyle Dennis Seidenberg-Nolan Pratt Marty Turco Curtis Sanford Spares: Valeri Bure (INJ), Greg Campbell, Rich Peverley, Tomas Kaberle (INJ) Half of them are gone now too so I could afford my new second line center Joe Thornton Plus I drafted Stamkos, so I got him coming up as well In my CHL games, I usually just sign anyone who doesn't take an overage slot that's on free, and trade any of my 19 year olds who can't crack my lineup for younger prospects, it worked well in Regina though I got knocked out by Kootenay, an I'm hoping it'll work with what I've got in Halifax. I'm holding third behind Lewiston and Moncton, but Jeremy Duchesne has not consistent at all. Fired Cam Russell early for being crap, and the American regen in his place has done well (Got Kirk McLean as my goalie coach too) Don't think I can make it this year, but if I can secure a good overage goalie again, I may have a chance next year. P.S. Seidenberg and Betts are pretty good cheap pickups eh? haha

P.S. Seidenberg and Betts are pretty good cheap pickups eh? haha I start unemployed and got hired by Rouyn-Noranda when I applied there. I remember having a Leafs save where I got the current Sharks line, and I think Luongo too but I got bored because it was too easy...I'm trying to find a top 4 defenseman with all around skills because we're bleeding in goals, but winning with offense. It's still early in the season so I'll continue to look for a top 4 d-man but I'll have to make do with what I have now. I thought about signing Jason Smith but I decided not to. I acquired Seidenburg for Riley Cote and Artem Dubilin. Betts was a free-agent signing. My best trade was this, and I call this my best because this would actually be realistic (well not now, but EHM terms, at least I didn't trade for an injured player or acquire another 1st round pick, like I always do): Brooks Orpik + 5th Rounder for Jonathon Toews and Kaspar Daugavins. I have a lot of depth at the back. I shed a bit of salary (Orpik made $4.5 mil, Toews + Daugavins = $3 mil) and added two solid point-per-game forwards. I want to win the Cup and hope a struggling franchise fires their GM and I get the job. I'm going to try and play realistically and not acquire every 1st Rounder in sight. Oh yeah, at Frolunda I signed Kipper! Nobody is named Kah Seng Adnan!(That's one of my bugbears of FM. Unrealistic hybrid Malay-Chinese names of Singaporean regens) Mohd Khairul Anuar Adbul Manan (that's a long name) sounds more realistic. Yeah, one thing FM can improve on are the names...and a lot of Malaysian names are pretty long, from my experience managing there. They also all start with 'Mohd'... And speaking of unrealistic, I haven't seen a Canadian newgen with Asian 2nd nationality yet. Even though not all of us play soccer over here, with the number of people coming here from China/HK, I'm sure there might be one someday!

rancer890
Rancer you missed out Joe Tompkins Tompkins is playing for a Swedish club where the season isn't finished over, so usually I'll be posting the end-of-season screenshot in the November or December update. Wan Kur, Ben Spicer, Sean Murphy will all get their end of season screenshots later. But since you insist. I'll give it to you later on today (not now, a bit tired and I'm supposed to be reading my uni stuff...supposed to ). (and if the other 3 also want a screenshot, I'll post it here by if you request it even though they haven't played any games. It'll also show you're still following this signup.) Whoopy D
Wouldn't mind a move to AC or Bayern tbh. Am I transfer listed by request?
NeoAC
Haha, they never cancel uni for snow man. It's only happened once in my 4 year career and that was last week when I didn't have classes anyway I got Seidenberg for Ian White and Betts off waivers Like I said, I got Turco for a 4th, and flipped Raycroft to Buffalo for a 2nd. Best trades I made with Toronto would have to be getting Timonen for Michael Funk, a floundering Justin Pogge, and the rights to some Russian. Been paring the payroll as well McCabe went to Atlanta for Erik Cole and Aaron Ward (1.5M savings) and Erat when to the Islanders for Craig Adams and Peter Price (1M savings) Not as solid as I was on offense last year now though. And in the Halifax game, I got upset in the first round by Saint John I have Derick Brassard for his overage year this year though, so I got high hopes this time around. BTW, my player is still awesome.
