  1. AFC Wimbledon have signed Drewe Broughton from Lincoln on loan until the end of the season - which I am INCREDIBLY optimistic about even if he once was franchise
  2. AFC Wimbledon updates: (*UPDATED) OUT: Chris Bush recalled by Brentford Andre Blackman on trial at Oldham Athletic (permanent move looking likely but not confirmed) Jon Main to Dartford - 1 month loan *Delano Sam-Yorke to Basingstoke - loan until end of season IN: Gareth Gwillim from Dagenham and Redbridge - loan until end of the season James Mulley from Chelmsford - pay as you play deal Kirk Hudson from Brentford - loan until end of the season Jamie Stuart from Rushden and diamonds - nominal fee Patrick Kanyuka from FC CFR 1907 Cluj - on trial (permanent move looking likely but not confirmed) *Roscoe D'Sane - on trial
  3. Enough said?!? He was promising in real life until his left knee fell off at the age of 21. Would have made the England team if he avoided injury. But I suppose it is true to say he never made it big IRL

  5. Don't know if this is any help but I am having the poland league issue even though I am playing with the real players box unchecked. This suggests it is probably not a data issue with a player but the clubs or league structure? But they again I guess that might be a bit of a simplistic deduction as I know nothing of programming
  6. Same here, not a brilliant start but I'm hoping it'll be a skin problem or something as why would it effect all your save games?
  7. I'm amazed more people haven't got annoyed by this. The first thing I've always done when taking over a new club is demote everyone to the reserves and then promote the players I think are good enough back to the first team. I find it a really quick and effective way of getting to know a new squad and its weaknesses. It doesn't make sense to me. Until I've pressed continue how did the players even find out I have theoretically moved them about. Have they bugged my office?
  8. In FM10 you could just hover your cursor over the box and get the full list of player statuses but this has been removed or is not working for me in FM11. Removing a useful feature like that makes very little sense to me
  9. Thanks Ethiopia and Namibia! Slipping into mid table mediocrity after a great start but still hopeful for a late run of points. Great updates as always
  10. Kenya's votes are cast... This is more exciting than the election! Good luck one and all!
  11. YEY! Kenya made it! Thanks to all those that voted for us. Commiserations to those that didn't make the semis
  12. Good advice! Almost picked up Eduardo for a million from relegated Wolves but he broke his leg pretty much on the way to the medical the clumsy oaf! Managed to pick up Oscar Cardoza for the same price though so hopefully his experience will help for goals and the development of the youngsters.
  13. Woo hoo! 11 points! Always said Tanzania is a great country! Great update style as well
  14. Just a quick update today... Still playing this challenge and still with Swansea 2014-2015 was disasterous and Swansea were rock bottom of the Premiership although they picked up a bit towards the end of the season the team were clearly out of their depth. On a positive note though as the all performed so badly I was able to hold onto most of the squad except Pinto who went to West Ham for a nice £10m (=£8.3m profit after 1 year!) 2015-2016 Severe hangover from the premiership and only a late run and some lucky results secured 6th spot for the Swans. Drew Bristol in the first round of teh playoffs and a tight 2-1 at home was followed by a trip to Ashton Gate where we parked the bus and were flattered by an inury time goal to finish 3-1 on aggregate. Faced Notts Forest in the final and sophoric match settled by a scrappy own goal meant Swansea won 1-0 and are back in the Prem for some more embarresment
