Yeah, loan backs are not allowed. If the board does it without your consent or because of a clause, try to cancel it and if you can't, then stick them in the reserves and forget they exists. Also no mentoring or anything with the player. Act as if they are not your club, really.

I had a google and saw some places that had updated at least FM21 with the complete FM08 database, so you could try to look there. Won't link here, but a quick google search should give you the answers.

XaW - Knattspyrnufélagið Afríkuliðið - Season 2024 - 3. deild Squad | Transfers | Finances A good first season at this level, and we were not far off promotion. A few too many draws, and if we had turned a few of those into wins, we'd probably gone up again. Still, another season here isn't too bad. Bikarkeppni karla: We beat lost to Þór in the 2nd round. League Cup B: We are out of the C cup and into the B cup. In the group stage we drew Viðir, Ægir, Kári, Vængir Júpiters, and Víkingur Ó. We won the group and progressed to the playoff. Then we beat ÍH before we lost to Elliði in the final. Trophy cabinet 4. deild - Group A - 1 (2023)

It's not that bad. The accents over the vowels are just there to be hardly pronounced. The æ is a mixture of ae sort of the vowel sound in the English for sad. The "ð/Ð" is known as the "Eth" and is pronounced as sort of a "dh" sound or a "d" with lots of breath. Finally the "Þ/þ" is called the "Thorn" and is pronounced as a "th" like in the word "the". It was often written as "Y" in old English, so when you see signs like "Ye olde tavern" or something it should be pronounced as "The ", not "Yee". There we go, the lesson of the day!

XaW - Knattspyrnufélagið Afríkuliðið - Season 2023 - 4. deild - Group A Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, we are out of the lowest part of the Icelandic football! We won the league on goal difference over Berserkir after a strong season overall. In the promotion playoff we drew Berserkir in the semi final again. We beat them over two legs and then got Álafoss in the final. They were less of a threat than Berserkir and we beat them as well to secure our promotion. Bikarkeppni karla: We beat Fjarðabyggð before we lost to KFS in the 2nd round. League Cup C: We drew SR, Ýmir, and Reynir H. and won the group. Then we beat Sindri and Álafoss to reach the final. There we narrowly lost to Léttir to finish as runners up. Trophy cabinet 4. deild - Group A - 1 (2023)

How much do you have left on your wage budget? What the board allows to pay for loans should be similar to what you can offer in wage to a signing.

The basics are the same, but there is a lot of different details. You could try the free demo on Steam? It will let you play for 6 months (in game), and you can continue if you decide to buy the full game. And if you don't, well, at least you know.

Especially considering the defenders at the club are mostly quite poor. It can clearly be shown as we conceded way too many goals. An interesting aspect of this club is that in Iceland you can only have 3 non-EU player on the pitch at any time, so that might become an issue in the long run if we got loads of good non-EU players in. However, they seem to be able to take Icelandic citizenship about 3 years after they appear in the intake (so they have been here a while before they appear), so I hope most will do that in the future. The intake hasn't happened yet, so I'll do separate posts for that. Bikarkeppni karla: We beat Ísbjörninn before we lost to top flight team FH in the 2nd round. League Cup C: We drew Augnablik, Björninn, and Úlfarnir and finished 2nd in the group to get knocked out. Trophy cabinet N/A

By default, I think only the top two leagues are playable, but in the steam workshop I see a lot of custom leagues for Ireland down to at least the 5th tier.

Yeah, got the preview (looks decent), and I'm just happy with getting any. Was expecting to go a few years without an intake, so everything is a bonus. Thanks mate, will be a struggle, but I think it will be a fun one. Currently playing all matches, but *shhh* I might do an IR type game....

As I took over Afríka, they didn't have any youth coaching, but the board accepted my asking to improve it first time I asked! So I will have intakes from this season, at least I think so, as I don't really know when the intakes come along. At least this step is done far sooner than I thought!

Before 18, at your club, training is more important until 18. After that game time become increasingly important, so if you can get the player to be a first team regular at a lower league that's preferable to your youth team. If you plan on giving the player a run in a few cup matches and/or some sub appearances in the league, then you might want to hang on to him. So the answer is "it depends".

Yeah, thanks, nothing wrong, time is just not there at the moment. Was away from the game for a few weeks, and had lost all idea of how things were in my last game. Also I've had Afríka on my wanted list for a while.

I haven't posted her in a few weeks due to some family stuff, and I don't know how much I get to play going forward, but I'll see if I can continue posting every now and then based on time. Due to this, I decided to start over somewhere new and fresh, and while many of you might have heard of this club, I finally found a database that allows me to play as them. Yeah, I'm heading to Iceland and to play as a club called Afríka. Now, I do often chose special clubs, and this is no exception. The club is a club for mostly foreign players in Iceland. While the name seems to hint at a mostly African player base, it seems like the Polish contingency is the biggest one. It should hopefully give a lot of interesting newgens. I did holiday a season and they finished bottom the of 4. deild Group A. Wish me luck!

A while back I posted a suggestion to show all requests in the menu, but "grey out" the ones you can't make and have a tooltip when hoovering over that explains why. "Short time since it was last requested". "The board thinks this is at a good enough level and don't want to increase it", etc. I think that would give a bit more clarity for the users. Thinking a bit more, I think it could have something to do with squad role as well, but I can’t really remember. If you think it’s bugged, then please report it as such. At the very least you’ll get a reasonsble response.

I think the wage contributions are 50% of all possible bonuses per week. So for that player it would be (130+25+10)/2 = 82.5. Rounded up to 85. So if you have 10 players with those bonuses it would be £850, even if only a few of them play.
