  1. Ah, an Estonian corn field, should have guessed it! Good luck @Makoto Nakamura!
  2. This was decided after the final patch of FM, so it will be included in a future version. You can change it in the editor and start a new game to have it included. For details, please ask in the editor section.
  3. Are you only here to rant or do you want a serious reply? I can't be bothered to give a good reply if this is only a rant.
  4. XaW - Hyde - Season 2024/25 - Vanarama National League North Squad | Transfers | Finances Mid-table again. We are really struggling to keep the goals out, that our main issue. According to the xG we got a bit unlucky this season, as we conceded 8 goals more than the xGA indicates, so here's to hoping it will improve next season. FA Cup: We beat Leiston and Bromsgrove Sporting before we lost to Halifax Town in the 4th qualifying round. FA Trophy: We beat Gloucester City before we lost to Oldham Athletic in the 3rd round. U18 team: They finished 4th in the National U18 League North West. In the FA Youth Cup they beat Stafford Rangers, Chorley, and Spennymoor before losing to Preston in the 1st round. 5. Oh yeah, if the xG is that high, then I agree. If you have examples, please post it in the bug tracker. https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/
  6. A few days ago we had a post that said that it was impossible to score from free kicks. So I'll just repeat myself, it's variance. Sometimes there is a lot, sometimes there is few.
  7. Sad to hear it! What's next? Vanuatu? Réunion? Zanzibar?
  8. They will come through at the next intake they are old enough for. So usually in a couple of years.
  9. Click to sort, then shift click to secondary sort.
  10. Yeah, I'm Norwegian and sort of follow Norwegian football, but not closely enough, really. I do know a lot about my native country though! Here is a few Norwegian articles about the owner structure in Norway that gives a bit more info: https://www.nettavisen.no/sport/delte-meninger-om-utenlandske-investorer-fotball-er-ikke-en-vanlig-forretning/s/12-95-3424212893 https://www.aftenposten.no/sport/fotball/i/6zbLqL/fotballreglene-ingen-foelger-med-paa As you can read from those articles there has been talk about changing it the last few years.
  11. All Norwegian clubs are fan owned (with elections every x years), but a few have essentially "rich uncles" who contribute money, like Molde for example. I think Odd BK is a nicely driven club, as they want most of their players to come from the surrounding area (Telemark) and they have a lot of deals with local clubs, but I'm not from the area, so I'm going by the general reputation.
  12. XaW - Hyde - Season 2023/24 - Vanarama National League North Squad | Transfers | Finances A bit back down to earth this season, compared to the almost promotion last season. But it's not surprising to me, we did lose a few of our best players before the season as they wouldn't sign new contracts. So I had to throw a few youngsters into the side, that were not all that suited to it yet, but that's the name of the game in this challenge, I guess. Still, upper mid-table is nothing to scuff over when we are predicted bottom. So we go again and see if we can slowly improve year by year. At least the board accepts some of my requests, so now it's a waiting game for the talents to improve and new ones to come in. FA Cup: We beat Stafford Rangers, Warrington, Scarborough Athletic, and Dartford before losing to Sunderland in the 2nd round. At least we got a pretty penny from it. FA Trophy: We lost to Brackley Town in the 2nd round. U18 team: They finished 5th in the National U18 League North West. In the FA Youth Cup they lost to Spennymoor in the 1st qualifying round. Youth intake: Trophy cabinet N/A Player statistics: Most apps for the clubs Name Nation 2nd Nation Apps ------------------------------------------------------------- Robbie Brown 23f England Scotland 44 Fraser Bickerdike 23h England None 43 Carwyn Watson 23c Wales None 25 Dean Neal 23l England None 14 Chris Attard 23d Malta England 10 Most goals for the club Name Nation 2nd Nation Goals ------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Swinglehurst 24e England None 3 Fraser Bickerdike 23h England None 1 Mark Gascoigne 23g England None 1 Most assists for the club Name Nation 2nd Nation Assists ------------------------------------------------------------- Fraser Bickerdike 23h England None 5 Robbie Brown 23f England Scotland 3 Mick Halligan 23a England None 2 Mark Gascoigne 23g England None 1 Zach Hubbard-Morton 24c England None 1
  13. Got a new striker in the intake and he had a good debut... Some way to introduce yourself!
  14. Yeah, it still works how I do it. I keep improving slowly, but when I have a Perfectionist or similar I stick with them for a long time, unless I see a Model Citizen or something! This is my current one (and the best I could find in VNN): But I would replace him with someone better in a heartbeat... So for me, it's more of when you get in a seemingly good one you need to stick with it.
  15. A few ways, but easiest would be to remove the tick of the file when you are starting a new game.
  16. You seem to have downloaded (or created) a custom database that is not setup correctly. So you either need to remove the custom database, fix it, or get a fixed version from wherever you got the file.
  17. If you go to the first page and look at the hall of fame in the 2nd post, it might seem like a lot of completions, but remember, that is through 5 versions of the game! I've completed it once, in FM19 and never since. And I've almost exclusively played this challenge since then and I clock in of a few thousand hours every version... This is for FM22, granted some hours are because I left it running, but still!
  18. Don't expect to complete it! This is much more about the journey than the finish. Create a tactic that works, but be ready to completely change it around when you get an amazing player in a position or role you don't use. Then swap back when the player is poached for way too little money, but do get % of next sale into all sales!
  19. I've played a season and a half with Hyde in the VNN now and I get loads of offers from higher tier clubs. I lost the playoff final in the first season when predicted to go down, so overachieved quite a bit. I started with no experience and no badges, but the board has let me take badges up to Continental C, and so far I've gotten 4 interview offers without any applications. The top ones I got first and then down the list. Fylde (Vanarama National League) Newport County (League Two) Harrogate Town (League Two) Ipswich Town (League One) So for me, I think it seems too easy to get higher rated offers.
  20. It depends on which country you are managing in. It varies slightly for many, but other countries have winter to winter seasons so they have a season rollover far away. England has 25.06, as one example.
