  1. I might be forced into starting a new save soon, which when you consider the amount of hours I've already got in this one, would be heartbreaking. However, the amount of annoying glitches in general gameplay since the update is becoming unbearable. The latest one is a news report saying I could be losing my right back due to a relegation clause at my 'recently-relegated' club. This report coming a few weeks after we've just won promotion to the top flight. I've also got a player who was annoyed I wasn't playing him as a Mezalla (even though I was), and then when the broken promise thing came up, I promised to fix it, and from nowhere the promise now states he wanted to be played as a BWM instead, which I don't play with. Meaning, I'm being forced to sell one of my best players because of complete broken nonsense. Such a shame, as the match engine is terrific this year, and I've really liked the new additions to the game (I'm one of the few who really like the squad planner, and it's great this now includes trialists).
  2. Noticed my save has become victim to a few annoying glitches post update. Team of the year on the end of season review thing completely gubbed. Showing players that didn't even play for me, completely wrong formation, and only three of the players played regularly in the side. Dynamic manager timeline showing me signing the same player twice for different amounts International reports showing my young players playing for the full national side when it was just an U-19 game they played for. None of these things happened pre-update. I'm sure more will crop up. I know these updates are supposed to be save game compatible, but it will be beyond annoying if this causes my save to become borked.
  3. SI really are in an impossible position at times, I mean how do you even deal with this?
  4. They wouldn't be hidden then, would they? You can learn about hidden attributes from a player's coach/scout reports.
  5. So, whilst applying for a few jobs in my journeyman save, I found this club in Norway, and its a team who play in an indoor stadium. The facilities page even say the stadium has a roof, so naturally I wanted to attend their next home game to see how the game looks with a side playing indoors... Er...
  6. Got to agree with the OP on this one, injuries are far too low in game, and have been for a good few years. I'm playing in a 14 team league at the moment. There are six injured players across the whole league and nine of the teams have zero injuries. Of course, this is only based on my own experiences, but it's been that way in my saves for as long as I can remember.
  7. Its because it's code, and not common sense. The promise is made during the loan discussion as to which role you have agreed to play the player in. If you don't play him in that role, thats a broken promise, and there will be repercussions. Cause and effect and all that. It can lead to wildly unrealistic outcomes, but the whole FM promise engine doesn't do context, which is a shame.
  8. I'm managing in the 4th tier in Sweden. I would love it to be easy. But it's not. Having much more bother this year than last year, which is a good thing, albeit incredibly frustrating at times.
  9. Not all interactions with agents will go the way you want them to, particularly with impatient agents, otherwise it would be too easy to game the system time after time. Sometimes you just need to accept it's not going to go the way you want it to.
  10. Completely unrelated, but nice to see you managing the club I support in real life. I hope Dale Carrick is treating you well.
  11. Aaah the old South American leagues and their Aperturas, Clausaras, and average points system. Enough to make Carol Vorderman's head spin.
  12. 1450, and this was my least favourite iteration of the last few years. New game is blowing it to shreds right now, can see me topping 2000 hours with this one.
  13. Because the graphics engine was totally overhauled in FM18, a new graphics company took over or something. Clearly the changes were not for the better. It all falls on deaf ears though, as does the request for a proper stadium editor. Almost everything else is fully moddable, why not this, which would improve the immersion 100%?
  14. I didn't do anything, that's the point. These are his actual results. I'm just wondering why he needs help?? His only loss is to Bayern. I wish my team were as consistent as that
  15. Dude... ...remind us again why you're asking for help? By the way, is this a created club?
  16. I always laugh when I see this. People complaining about stuff being not like real life - After reloading and playing the same game over and over. This forum never fails to disappoint.
  17. Ah, the good old 'If I can't win, the game must be broken' trope. Never heard that one for at least five minutes.
  18. That's a far bigger reflection on the people complaining than the state of the match engine itself. There were nowhere near as many (actual) bugs in this year's ME during the beta than there was in previous years, but people have been lining up to have a pop at the game since the new features came out and some YouTubers moaned about it. That's why we've got to where we're at. @Rashidiproved earlier that the hyperbolic reaction to the issues with the match engine are mostly nonsense. And he's someone who's opinion I definitely respect. As well as watching things with my own eyes and not being influenced by YouTubers with American accents... Anyway, this is where I will take my annual leave of the feedback thread. Happy moaning everybody
  19. Load as many leagues as you can when you first start (ignore the warnings), so you've got more choice to begin with. Once you then start to move around, you can then get rid of the leagues you know you'll never go to. Which will make the game run a bit faster as the seasons progress. By the time you get to the big clubs, your gameworld can then be minimised even further. But I always have as many leagues as possible running at the start.
  20. Throughout my beta save, my IF ans IW's behaved excatly as I'd expect them to, much to my surprise as it's the first edition of the game where that has happened consistently for me.
  21. I'm absolutely delighted with the match engine this year, for me it's the best there's ever been. A few minor issues with defensive positioning, but as always, until that gets fixed, I just build that into the narrative of my save. I wasn't overly impressed with FM22 - For the first time in a long while, I thought the previous edition was better, but this game improves on FM22 in almost every way. I get not everyone will see it that way, but for me, it's the best game in the series at this point. Great work.
  22. Weird, I've never had that issue with it at all. Sometimes I'm happy SI give me a better version of the game than everyone else
  23. Like the way the game clock no longer shows 'paused' when you pause it, so you can actually see the time, was one of the little annoyances in the beta.
