  1. Why does everyone blame the game when they can't win? Multiple users on this thread alone have complained the game is too easy. If you're failing that miserably, it's definitely down to you I'm afraid. Post your tactic and instructions in the tactics forum and see if anyone can help you. Your players morale will also be rock bottom, hence missing easier chances than normal or struggling in midfield. Try a team meeting, or schedule a team bonding session in training, or even organise a friendly against a local side when you have space in your schedule. But there's clearly something going on tactically there, unless you just don't have good enough players of course. More information needed.
  2. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't click on the column headings to sort the list of players, that feels like an oversight to me.
  3. Which is why I generally take leave of the feedback thread not long after the full game comes out. It's absolutely the case that some users will only notice issues because they read about them on here. It's also how minor issues can end up snowballing until they have drowned under a wave of hyperbole.
  4. Cool that your notepad allows you to quickly set up a recruitment focus for the position you're looking at. Need to get me one of those notepads...
  5. Declare your interest in the player, and you'll get a media report about the likely cost of signing him. It's not always accurate but it can be a good starting point.
  6. It's never been free. The pre-game editor is, however, free. Always has been and I suspect always will be.
  7. You can unlock it as playable in the pre-game editor I'm sure.
  8. Certainly am, love the feature. Needs some work done to it, but the idea is a great one.
  9. As ever if I do a Scottish save this year, I will be putting us back in the EU in the editor, as we never voted to leave in the first place.

  11. I have the exact opposite experience to this. For me, it's the least repetitive match engine since the series began.
  12. No you don't. I didn't even know that menu was there. I just click on the big advance button and it draws the next team out.
  13. My biggest issue with a revamp of set pieces is tied in with my biggest issue with the overall game. The AI. THAT is what needs improved upon before everything else. The human manager already has a monumental advantage over the AI manager. Giving users tools to create bigger exploits from set pieces won't be a step forward until the AI is intelligent enough to counter it. I suspect this is the main reason why SI haven't been able to improve that area of the game for years.

  15. Yeah but the point I'm making is that people are criticising this year's new features as being revamps of existing features whilst at the same time screaming to get a, er, revamp of an exisiting feature.
  16. Yup, it's my favourite new feature this year. Took me a wee while to learn how it properly works, but now I use it every transfer window. Great addition to the game for me, but as I said in the feedback thread, it's probably not for everyone.
  17. IF's and IW's are fantastic this year, or at least they have been on my save so far. I play with an IF(A) on the left and an IW(S) on the right, and for the first time in as long as I can remember, they are actually playing the way they are supposed to, which is great to see.
