  1. This argument is moot considering that if you change the English language from UK to USA manager translates to head coach…Not to mention signing players is only one aspect of a manager’s job which is less likely a job in the modern age of top teams. You still manage the roster, whether that is handling dynamics or sorting out tactics or even training.
  2. Extending loans is another one that needs to be added.
  3. This is something that can definitely be approved upon but as of now, I see it as the type of contract my DOF thinks the player is worth. If I want a youth player to be a first team regular but my DOF only see his value as a youngster then I just have to accept it. Other than that, if we manage to extend the player, I would just go in and change his playing time status.
  4. Is there anyone who plays this way and have a youtube channel?
  5. I mean for free transfers. Limiting trials make it even harder in lower leagues when selecting transfer targets for the DOF to pick from. I also only give trials to free transfer that my DOF suggests. I feel like some of the well known tips like scouting top league youth teams and handling out a bunch of trials results in quickly building a team that is far superior than any other team in the league. As far as scouting, I only add players to my transfer target list from players that my scouts scouted rather than the player list. The only exceptions are DOF suggestions and staff and player recommendations, but more times than not those players will have to be scouted first.
  6. I personally try to limit trials. IMO, there should be a cost coming out of the scouting budget when offering trials to players because as is, its a loop hole to get around the lack of information you have on lower league scouting. lol We can literally ignore the scouting and just get a full team on trial to unlock attributes free of charge.
  7. I let DOF handle contracts, but if I am interested in players, I will put them on my transfer target list
  8. Agreed, I would like to see more variety as in some boards should be more hands on than others. That would also add another layer in choosing which club you accept offers from.
  9. I suggest requesting that as a feature in the feature request forum. Better chance of getting implemented if its not already. https://community.sigames.com/forums/forum/353-football-manager-feature-requests-pcmac/
  10. Good shout! I really pray for a revamp experience in International management. I also feel like this could go well with dynamic youth rating and building a nation. Things like handling press, building dynamics, training while also pleasing the board by meeting certain goals so they will invest more money in the national team infrastructure will all be welcome additions to the game. Scouting the national pool and finding hidden wonder kids would be great as well. The ability to have training camp before friendlies and tournaments would be great as well, especially with training ratings being in the game, this will help with picking the team. There is a lot of potential here for International management.
  11. Only way international only until leagues are fully done make sense is if we get a revamp of International management. Other than that, including women in the game just for international play for the time being would be laughable.
  12. While looking at the trailer, I hope they make FM23 more challenging…
  13. Data hub have been a great addition, but I would like to see a page where there is sortable stats of your team. The game have so many useful stats that are hidden within filters, please make them available in the data hub. Maybe even include some of the advance stats in the player profile under performance and league stats under player detail.
  14. 3D graphics and stadiums have always been a hot topic but I understand the limitations. However, one aspect of our match day experience that is rarely talked about are atmosphere and audio. Audio Crowd noise have been lackey for years now, there are barely any chants, or drums playing. In fact, the only time the crowd is lively is during a goal. This problem is amplified ,playing in the lower leagues where it is dead silence for most of the game outside of a goal and the sound of the crowd cheering is the same level as a home game at Man U. Enhancements to the crowd noise would be an welcomed addition Atmosphere After the crowd noise, it’s the visual of the crowd and the stadiums. Fans in a packed stadium should be going wild. On the flip side, during a lower league game where the crowd is about a 100 fans, there is rarely anyone in the crowd. The stadium is empty. Those 100 or so fans should be spread out with a few supporters sections.
  15. Sorry for the bump, but I noticed in the editor that there is barely any injury frequencies set for GK, it is also true for center backs . Once I changed this, Ive seen GK get injured in matches from just looking around the game world and checking their injury history.
  16. I second this. The option to only control transfers and contracts without having to currently do work arounds would be a good add. Would also be a nice option for players who struggle with the game tactically.
  17. This may be something for next year as MLS Next Pro may be included... But there needs to be a way to connect the Academy team to the B team. As it stands currently, MLS Academies are a separate entity (Not sure why but possibly a registration issue?) and over age players are released on free transfer into the USL 2 leaving MLS B/II teams without enough players to avoid the game creating virtual players. These overaged players needs to be automatically moved from MLS Academies to their MLS B/II teams as this is the natural progression and the reason MLS Next Pro was created in the first place...
  18. Not sure if this would make more sense as a in-game editor or before you start a save while selecting leagues, but it would be nice to be able to increase/decrease injury, tactical familiarity, and team cohesion rates in the in game editor. Tactical familiarity isn't much of a problem as other things effect it but I literally went from average team cohesion to very good in a span of 10 games and now my team is pretty much unstoppable after struggling early on. Ability to change the effects of bad morale would be nice as well.
  19. Not really a bug but teams are trading draft picks way too often and this leads to teams having either no 1st round draft picks for consecutive years or having a stock pile of them, there is no in between. In reality, most draft picks are swapped on draft day which happens in FM so kudos for that. The problem is outside of draft day, draft picks are the most common form of trading in the game when in reality, it should be allocation money.
