  1. 2 things can be true. Just like in the OP’s screen shot fans were both devastated and satisfied. Ironically our defense was terrible the following year and the fans ran a Super Bowl winning coach out of town…
  2. If you have a grasp of tactics the game is pretty easy. It make sense that you are losing if you are self proclaim inept at tactics, also a lot have change this year with how mentally and roles work so I am sure that adds to your difficulty.
  3. If I care to ever want to play this game online, I would want all exploits fixed.
  4. I personally create my tactics based on my team's strength using guide to FM. However, if my team is talented enough to attack and press according to guide to fm's guide then I will use it. Either way, I usually still overachieve (if Im expected for a relegation battle, I would finish mid table)
  5. There also isn't much risk to playing attacking mentality as well. That mentality should be prone of losing the ball and inaccurate passes especially at the lower league level. Things like this as well as having the AI be smart enough to rotate players so they aren't tired more than your players will help with difficulty. Until then, attack and high press your way to victory.
  6. Yea, I do not consider this to be worthy of a headline feature as it does not change how you play the game (some may argue that it does for the worse), but I find it to be a handy feature for the way I play the game. Scouting or transfers aren't something I do to negate any advantage I might have over AI, but sometimes I miss out on players because we didn't scout well. Whenever my DOF failed to resign a starter or one of my top transfers last year in FM 22, we always ended up settling for a lower-level player. Squad planner lets me be hands-off while still being involved. Moreover, the DOF brings in far more transfers than he did before. The DOF used to only sign players from his scouting network, not directly from players the team scouted. This is not the case anymore. The use of DOF, recruitment meeting and squad planner brings everything together.
  7. Im sure players get rest in real life. Are you resting players after the game? Training is just 1 aspect. 1 day rest usually fix all fatigue problems.
  8. Then there needs to be an option to ask him to suggest that just like there are options to ask for free transfers. I dont think the original concept was intend to work the way you describes as its just players from his personal knowledge. Its buried in the menus, but you can actually see the list of players in his player knowledge and just like the team's player search page, you can scout them while filtering your needs.
  9. Where did it say that DOF was suppose to recommended players that the team can afford? The DOF's recommendation is nothing more than him suggesting players from his own player knowledge. His list still work like the team's player search list where once scouted they are given grades based on the needs. The use Transfer targets is where the DOF shines.
  10. Some say it's easy as non league. Don't conveniently leave that point out.
  11. mentalities work different and so does the player roles. If you are using a 4231 and give up lots of goals, you might want to change the CM's to DM's as they act like CM's in a 4321.
  12. If you dont use recruitment meetings, then squad planner will not be useful for you. It seems FM have different types of players who play the game differently. Some people just aren't going to change the way they play the game and will rely on old habits. You usually get players that are affordable when you chose to look for players for the team "Now" instead of "Typically" I haven't played around with scouting that much in FM 23 to see if the same can be achieved.
  13. Not sure if this was worked on for FM 23 but it is still happening in that game. Not sure if I sure make a new thread for FM 23 or not.
  14. If you play with high intensity tactics and don't rest players 1 day after a game, you are going to run into injuries.
  15. Highest settings and was able to load every league including all the expansions. a ! day sim usually took no longer than a minute depending on how many gams were playing that day.
  16. should report as a bug. Although if another team has the same odds as you but is predicted 7th, sounds like there are a lot of teams tied at 7th with the same odds and your team may just happen to fall to 22nd even though you may be tied for 7th in odds.
  17. Until the AI know how to rotate squads and rest player, attacking high press tactics will always work against them.
  18. Were there any other league transfers? other teams getting better can knock you down
  19. While I agree set piece seems like something so small but comparing to American football, as a Eagles fan (some of the most critical fans in America) we can win everything but we won't be satisfied unless we are winning and doing it with a great defense. It's a team culture. Not sure if set pieces should even be a thing though.
  20. There are plenty of threads on this in the feature request forum. But at the very least, they could have added the ability to train and rest players. International management is broken because you can not gain any tactical familiarity and players are always unfit. At its current state, international management is nothin but but a allstar game, you can not build any "culture" leading up to the world cup.
  21. Rep doesn't matter here otherwise good clubs with lower rep would always be predicted to finish low. That's not the case.
  22. Are you sure? Season preview updates soon as you start strengthening your squad without advancing a day.
  23. Seeing the same, even 1st round picks are being let go after the registration date. B teams are not developing any youth players because of this problem and the fact that all overage academy players are released on free transfers instead of moving to B teams.
  24. Both are looking at two different things. the analyst is looking at analytics.
