  1. Those options are there as a setup. You can’t do sandbox things once the game start unless you buy the editor. Which in that case, you can get all of the young wonder kids you want.
  2. Sandbox suggests an open world and free to do anything. That doesn’t exist in FM.
  3. It’s best to post all suspected bugs in the bug tracker. Devs are better at determining if something is working or not rather than users. It won’t get looked at here. And good practice is to post in there first and make a post in the general forum (with a link to the thread in the big tracker) to have a discussion or to see if others are experiencing the issue.
  4. Was it for a pro contract? poaching already exist in the game so I can see why they made stealing youth players away from clubs before they have a chance to sign them less of a thing. It was a clear exploit in the game.
  5. As much as I want to say you are wrong. I can't with a straight face as I look at the MLS structure with its same old broken youth development structure that hasn't been fixed despite MLS getting a blog section. Not only is MLS Next pro or MLS Next not available, but MLS II teams become thin a few years in. This is because the game doesn't promote academy players to the reserve teams like it should (It's the entire point of MLS Next Pro). Still, they get released on free transfers, with most of them getting deleted from the game if not signed by lower-tier American leagues, which aren't in the game.
  6. Ironically, I do the same in non league. If I see either interest or a bid from a team that is similar level as my team, I will bid as well since my scouting is limited. Im sure word of mouth gets around fast when everyone is looking for the next star to help their team win. It makes since the AI can do it if the user can.
  7. The game needs modifiers. A lot of the cool stuff they add is really superficial nowadays. You can literally change your starting 11 every year and then have good cohesion by the midpoint of the season. only way to drop morale off players is to **** them off in a talk lol
  8. In the last five years, I don't recall seeing the "Too Difficult" thread... Taking non-league teams to the top level in back-to-back promotions throughout the season does not have anything to do with Liverpool and Man City... Give the user modifiers to go along with the other pre-setup options. Would you like to see more injuries? Increase it, want less? Decrease it. Slow cohesion? Increase it, etc. Everyone can enjoy the game how they like instead of SI adding in fluff features that don't have any real effect so that they won't get complaints from users who do not like it and rather ignore it.
  9. These type of saves don’t provide anything unless all leagues are on playable.
  10. Can't ask people to use house rules for a challenge...SI need to stop adding fluff to the game that doesn't make a difference in gameplay. How strong is the AI manager's adapting? Seems like minimal. If you are going to add a feature, then go all in with it. Stop being timid. Not to mention pin point passes from balls over the top that leads to goals is an unintentional exploit just like near post corners which haven’t been fixed yet.
  11. Maybe next year it will work like Pressing did in FM22 which was introduced in FM21...
  12. Then they would simply just provide better graphics.
  13. going away from the United is OP, the game either needs to allow settings to increase/decrease various effects on gameplay or just stop adding features that have minimal effects on the game. Like supporter's confidence. There should be adjustable settings for things like familiarity, cohesion, injuries morale, etc.
  14. Seen the same, I would say its worse than last year as I never seen moves like that, but I also did play with transfer preferences so Im sure that had some effect.
  15. Nice, Maybe I can finally sign my own players this year instead of using my DOF so I won't cheat the game.
  16. So much for Pep playing like Pep. Edit- Just downloaded the game so I'll sim using the Full match engine...
  17. Until international management is revamped, I don't think that's going to be touched. In a sense, they are related. The management of a club can only enhance a nation to a certain extent, which is what it is currently doing.
  18. As long as they have effect on various aspects of the game, I welcome more questions.
  19. I figured AI transfers would benefit from squad planner coding. There is some sort of AI code there considering that you can ask the assistant to rank players.
  20. Yea, it’s low key been a common theme that new features don’t work until the following year…
  21. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited about the match engine “fixes” but I find it hard to believe that they couldn’t be put in a patch. The “inaccuracies” that was introduced last year were non existent but now they are being highlighted for FM23 and branded as “chaotic midfield”. It also goes without question that the ME is worked on every year so it wasn’t really needed to be mentioned as a Feature lol. Are we really calling the ability to play a useful defensive tactic a feature? if the current highlighted features were just hanging in the background and they only announced a revamp set piece creator and a road to the World Cup, the tone around here would have been different.
