Just now, Jogo Bonito said:

Congrats on the promotions and for the signing of Dele Alli!

Hoping your Kenyan striker continues to score goals for you.

Cheers buddy. Sydney Lokale has been doing well for us with 17 goals for the season and 7 assists.

image.thumb.png.9e78cedda8e42ea614462e65e2e5a672.png

I don't know if he will be with us next season as he currently rated at just 2 and half stars so I think I will need to upgrade that position in time.

He has done well though and I hope when he leaves us he goes on to play for another English team and do well there.

Barnet Season 3 Review

I have no idea how we did this but my team has somehow got another promotion.

Other then using a fairly good tactic I haven't done anything else and I have somehow managed 3 promotions in back to back seasons.

Absoulotely amazing!!!

image.thumb.png.02945e846ee8c63d85e3e2f32a13899f.png

We only managed to win the League One title at the last game of the season. It could of gone either way as Reading and Peterborough United were so strong.

Our best player this was the same as last season with Zak Brunt getting 19 goals, 12 assists and also got a massive 7.48 average rating.

image.thumb.png.35ec10d6a29e2fca5cb6983cc87f912e.png

I took adavantage of the loan system with us bringing in a few from our parent club Tottenham a few from other Premiership teams.

The stand out loan players were Cian Curtis who was brilliant in goal for us, Dante Orr who was sold in defense, Omari Forsen who was classy in the Shadow Striker position and Charles Sagoe who was graceful on the Left Wing.

image.thumb.png.006db4701ff92e6798e54b59da80e14a.png

Unfortunately none of these players will be coming back on loan at this current time due to either the club not wanting to loan him back to us or the player not be interested in staying with us for another season.

Hopefully this will change during pre-season.

I have no idea what to expect next season as I worry us getting promoted was too soon but you never know.

Let's see what we can do in the summer.

Thanks for reading and the comments. Much appreciated.

Just read through your progress mate, looks a great save and one I'll follow.

Big Gary Hooper fan after his days at Sheff Wed so was pleasing to see him contribute to your initial success :D

Cheers mate much appreciated. Unfortunately Gary Hooper couldn't make the step up when I got promoted to League 2 so I released him and he is now the manager of St.Ives Town.

All of these were free transfer signings. I have changed my transfer policy as I need to sign more players to sell for profit and I found a few one prospects especially Check Oumar Diakite and Mohamed Khadir.

I have also loaned in a few players who are doing well. Most of them are newgens and I can't post screenshots of them as you can only post a certain amount of photos per post on here.

I will post later in the season if any of the loan signings do well for me.

We are currently 14th in the league with 14 games gone so far in the season.

Even though he was one of my best players and I didn't want to sell him he was moaning and wanted to move to a bigger club so I managed to get £4.6m and 30% of the profit on his next transfer.

He will be sorely missed.

image.thumb.png.1498c57331fbc01fd8cc123a5d4be0e6.png

Lyons-Foster's sale was a record fee for Barnet which broke a 32 year old record which was previously set in 1995 when Crystal Palace paid £800k for Dougie Freedman.

image.thumb.png.58bc1c3247200f9a7d420155f150e278.png

I have replaced him with Sean Stewart who was a free transfer signing.

image.thumb.png.5e6c9532721fea07ac869a6b0850cc8e.png

I have also bought in a few more players.

image.thumb.png.acedfd0978eec65e1078f1641c56df8d.png

Evan Farrell - £375k from Wexford.

image.thumb.png.817d57620e71fb7b3e3eca06b8dcc754.png

Cody Johnson - £110k from Stockport County

I signed a few more but first I will let you know that I sold Dele Ali in the end as he was no long good enough to play for the first team and as much as I wanted to keep him at the club just to be a good old head in the dressing room I felt like for the sake of his career he had to leave.

He went to Torrenese in Portugal. Not a bad place to retire really.

Only 30 years old as well. Such a shame he didn't have the career he was meant to have.

image.thumb.png.73e733424ad005f6039d1ae852f75a00.png

image.thumb.png.7ce201d733bc112bf289873cc00a0228.png

Anyway back to players in I managed to sign a few more in the January window.

Kaine Kesler Hayden was bought in on a free from Aston Villa and he has become our first team Right Back. He is doing well so far.

image.thumb.png.ae358436672b10496cf973ce2252d5d7.png

Another free transfer signing was for Owen Beck who came in from Liverpool and has cemented his place as my starting Left Back. He also has done very well so far.

image.thumb.png.adf7345d789cbee1c5196be9c6c9cefa.png

Our next player we managed to somehow to convince to come here on loan was Rodriguinho who is valued at up to £40m. It is utter madness we have managed to get him on loan. He he has been decent so far. I think he will help us stay away from the relegation zones.

image.thumb.png.f914978f9c1fb6799b1cc94c24a9c639.png

We are currently 16th in the league after 36 games played. We are 13 points behind the relegation zone so I am quietly confident we will stay up.

Barnet Season 4 Review

download.png.b582561278acc8dd3cbcd57e5fed97fe.png

Nothing to celebrate this year other then securing our place in the Championship for another season.

We managed to finish 17th in the league and a whole 21 points above the relegation zone.

We would of happily took 17th place at the start of the season.

We only managed to get to the 4th round of the FA Cup this season with us losing to Nottingham Forest.

Isaac Opuku was our top goalscorer with 16 goals for the season.

image.thumb.png.da6146c0b2a91ac5622ef8396a6947d1.png

Seb Ferdinand had a great season for us with 7 goals and 9 assists.

image.thumb.png.f01a0c83fc36eef9602c6eb73e8667fb.png

Our signing of the season was probably Jordan Edmunds who we got on loan from Aston Villa.

He did great with 6 goals and 9 assists.

Finances aren't the best with us predicted to be £8.64m in the red within the next 3 seasons.

Hopefully we can sell someone for good money each season to help with the long term finances.

image.thumb.png.704c83175c2526490efada6c43d34ba3.png

My aim next season is to try get a mid table finish.

Thanks for reading.

Barnet FC Summer Transfers

I sold Seb Ferdinand for £2.9m, Check Oumar Diakite for £1.5m & Mohamed Khadir for £3.8m in the summer due to how bad Barnet's finances are.

I have bought quite a few players in so I will just showcase a few of them for now.

Cian Curtis - GK - Free Transfer from Shamrock Rovers

image.thumb.png.1d46564e3c8bccc3f696fd5613f6e09e.png

Phoenix Patterson - Winger - Free Transfer from Mt.Merrion

image.thumb.png.53fe4fdbd772dae258909ec4addc828a.png

Jarell Quansah - Defender - Free Transfer From Liverpool

image.thumb.png.1623e14c0860b47478e0cb2e568a0f55.png

Charles Sagoe - Attacking Midfielder - Free Transfer From Wolves

image.thumb.png.4635d7d8d374b842e73b4c64d33c52e0.png

Mitchell van Bergen - Right Winger - Free Transfer From FC Twente

image.thumb.png.85367b626e9c42a6f61656ecebde410e.png

Van Bergen looks the best free signing so far and has a high resell value. If I end up selling Van Bergen for somewhere near his current value I will be breaking the record again for fee received.

Barnet Season 5 Review

WE DONE IT!!!

image.thumb.png.a98633552de4c3c30dc5cd144c282d7a.png

image.thumb.png.9d08e8ce5a71306ef04282d7ac42aa32.png

We were 1st place until the last game of the season but we lost to Cardiff and gave WBA the Championship title.

Still a great season and a great effort from our lads.

We got to the quarters of the Carabao Cup with us losing to Man City in the quarters.

We lost in the 3rd round of the FA Cup to Lincoln City because I had to rest half of my first team which left us with barely anyone decent to play in the game.

Rafael Silva was the best player of the season with him scoring 25 goals and getting a 7.20 average rating.

image.thumb.png.8cfcfeac18575d6f45bd1bcb310085e6.png

Brendan Pitcher had a great season for us with him scoring 10 goals and getting 19 assists. He also had the best average rating at the club with a rating of 7.42.

image.thumb.png.1c28b8a0dc68b9357545c549a16cb2a5.png

Signing of the season was probably Regis Matondo who was a free transfer signing from Irish football club Mungret Regional. He has been amazing playing Right Back. He seem to be pretty good at taking penalties as well he was one of our main penalty takers and he scored 4 penalties out of the 6 goals he scored for us. He needs to work on not getting as many yellow cards though as he got 16 yellow cards this season.

image.thumb.png.0d24f81ea16ab9853263da0896a632e6.png

Honourable mention goes to Charles Sagoe who was a free transfer from Wolves and was amazing for us. He scored 21 goals and got 9 assists. He is valued at £19-£23m now as well.

image.thumb.png.9190dc78d9243a19f49809b9be2d5010.png

My aim next season is to simply to try stay up.

My long term goals with Barnet is to win a domestic cup and also try win the Premiership and Champions League.

Thanks for following.

Barnet Summer Transfer Window So Far

image.thumb.png.144148bb4cfeb3a1275298f0f21f2780.png

Anthony Elanga comes in on a Free transfer. What a bargain signing.

image.thumb.png.0a03819ad0b6538a39c048772a6bf992.png

Alex Scott comes in for £2.5m from Bournemouth. I managed to take advantage of Bournemouth's relegation to the Championship by robbing them blind for Alex Scott. Another great signing.

image.thumb.png.5b1de7ac2384dcf25bea5051170b5306.png

Alfie Devine has come in for a bargain price of £1m. He will be end up being a great signing for us.

image.thumb.png.5dbaeb327c6d79384748f85294c0a553.png

Highly rated Norwegian player Isak Hansen-Aaroen has come in on a free transfer from Man Utd. He has a Perfectionist personality as well so he could be a great tutor for the younger players.

image.thumb.png.049d78d749b423315135063823d5f805.png

The very solid defensive midfielder Cameron Humphreys signs for £4.6m from Nottingham Forest. He has very good all round attributes with good physical attributes.

I will post once the window shuts.

A few more signings in the summer window.

image.thumb.png.c7c47962932ae3411f8bd94e22b82e9f.png

I have been very lucky with my transfer business so far and Yang Hyunjen coming in on a free transfer is another shrewd move. Only 26 years old he is coming into his peak years.

I also managed to sign former Barnet youth academy player Ronnie Edwards. image.thumb.png.8837190b8bfc3c53af30354caabe3796.png

image.thumb.png.06b186b0a875d3d3e97f3e5e36623108.png

A good signing for £6m and a decent replacement for Archie Chaplin who I sold recently for £9m to a Saudi team.

I also managed to bring in James Beadle on loan from Brighton to give me better quality in goal.

Barnet Season 6 Review

download.png.1342ff1ba5d9821a2652dc1ece54b814.png

A great first season in the Premiership. Not only did we stay up but we managed to get a 11th place finish which was way better then I expected in my first season at Barnet.

image.thumb.png.94bd88264a4cd7a32b555eb51c5d3bbb.png

I want to try get a top 10 finish next season and try get to a domestic cup final.

I only got to the fifth round of the FA Cup this season with us losing to Aston Villa. I always play my youth prospects in the Carabao cup so I don't count that as a cup worth bothering with.

Maurizio Doria was my top goalscorer with 16 goals and he also got 13 assists. He also had a 7.04 average rating which is the best for the club. He was my signing of the season as well as we managed to get him on loan from AC Milan with a bargain £400k future fee arranged.

image.thumb.png.455ae3093748377c89c233e83b22e649.png

Anthony Elanga was another player who had a good season for us with 9 goals and 6 assists. He is hitting his peak years now so hopefully he gets better next season.

image.thumb.png.15817045d1db241162c5012c5c0e140f.png

Sean Stewart despite only being 2 and half stars ability has been really good for us and very realiable in the Left Back position.

Squad Overview

image.thumb.png.2d0fec19139c346528c32b66b9d74ca5.png

We have a good bank balance now with us having £42m in the bank. We got given a £39m transfer budget. I have shifted some about to give us a bit more of a wage budget.

I am now off to sign some wonderkids.

We tried to sign a few players on free transfers like Akanji, Jack Harrison etc and none of them signed for us but we did manage to sign this guy.

image.thumb.png.1136438e43bf846abe203a7c10d11bb9.png

image.thumb.png.51786ae9c5053c16b80e19165a1b499e.png

He can still do a hell of a job for us on the wing or as the Shadow Striker. What a signing to make the fans happy with a big name signing.

We managed to get £40m for Alfie Devine from a Saudi team so we have a bigger transfer budget and I shifted some of that to try sign the free transfers I went for.

Have you thought about requesting a bigger stadium now you're in the PL?

I try all the time but the board aint having it just yet.

The Hive Stadium was built in 2009 so it is only 20 years old as I am now in 2029 on the game.

The board has agreed twice to expand the current stadium but they only expand it by 300-400 each time. My current max capacity is 5,376 after the recent expansion.

I feel like we're visiting alternate dimensions as I've also taken Barnet to the Premier League in my CM 93/94 thread, where Liverpool and United were also top 2, after finish 2nd and just missing out on the Championship / D1 title, and too starting a cup feud with Villa.

Although you have half the capacity I have despite both our stadium expansions and your 30-year headstart.

I just signed this player from ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast for a cheap £235k. My scouts rated him so I signed him and didn't think any more about it.

I click on his profile once he signed to see what his value is and I was shocked to see how much he is valued at now.

image.thumb.png.2caf73a8ae02d6832fb138f53dc561bc.png

£74m-£81m. OMG!!!

I can't see him keeping to that value but if he ends up being World Class and he either helps me win silverware or I sell him for a fortune I will be very happy.

Summer Transfer Window Part 1

I forgot to post some of the rest of my signings I made in the summer window so here is a few more I forgot about.

Youri Tielemans - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.fc97c8503dce8e4bfda1af5ccb65531e.png

Not played much for us but has been decent when called upon.

Mahir Mingan - £12m from Cardiff

image.thumb.png.99a71b7976329ad128a0158bb84dfc67.png

Not played much but definitely a good right back in the making. Especially with him having a Driven personality.

Haydon Roberts - £4.5m from Sheffield United

image.thumb.png.7da2454d9de24dc39f69f44c3eeb3165.png

He has been really consistent for us so far with him playing 17 games and performining very well.

Marko Sapuha - Free Transfer from Rukh

image.thumb.png.0a7c1e9bc03f59f44797526042292c0e.png

Sapuha has been amazing for us and didn't cost us a penny. 4 assists, 3 goals, 2 man of the match awards and an average rating of 6.96. He might end up being the signing of the season.

James Beadle - £375k from Brighton

image.thumb.png.7d4982a696f18e4b572c91c6f8cf6a14.png

Another bargain signing. A very good goalkeeper who is always improving.

Estevao Tecelao - £16.75m from Casa Pia

image.thumb.png.3fe5cac9fb0f7d8aa8b7f0633b5ca005.png

My DOF signed Tecalao and intitially I was put off by the big fee because Barnet have never spent that much money but he has been good when he has played this season. Only 21 years old so he will get better and is currently valued at £24m-£27m.

Summer Transfer Part 2

Saud Abdulhamid - Free Transfer from Aston Villa

image.thumb.png.87de5a26c36984a601a8f0d71c14e865.png

He has been a decent signing so far but his average rating concerns me so I have criticized his recent form and hopefully that will help spur him on to do better. He is improving in training which is good.

Jewison Bennette - Free Transfer from Sunderland

image.thumb.png.dd0de122b5e05aa576758912cc65e2b5.png

Another free transfer who has done very well for us with 2 goal and 2 assists. I can see this tricky Costa Rican winger doing very well for us.

January Window Signings So Far

Mattias Gonzalez - Free Transfer from Banfield

image.thumb.png.09ab78e27c69b212e700ad03d402c5a6.png

Another free transfer. This skillful Argentinian winger has yet to play for us but he will be a key player for us in time.

Khairul Ismali - £2.6m from Johor Darul Ta'zim

image.thumb.png.9aed927a1321c92d507d77af45fd231a.png A very versitile Malaysian midfielder who can also play up front. He has got 21 goals in 70 games for his previous club. I am hoping when he plays for us he can get a few goals for us.

I will update when the January window closes.

We are currently 11th in the league and on track to get that mid table finish we are looking for.

image.thumb.png.09effc8754f2998318fcaeb8406ceee3.png

We are also doing well in the Carabao cup after playing first team players instead of the youngsters.

We beat Man City 5-2 in the home leg of the Semi final.

Jack Grealish scored 2 against his former club.

image.thumb.png.b2d99615e79d407bca071637ecb5d43b.png

Jack still showing at 34 years old he can still put in a world class performance.

He currently has 7 goals and 6 assists for the season.

He gives us that bit of extra class we were missing.

Rest Of January Transfer Window

Aimar Vicarndi - £2.5m from Real Oviedo

image.thumb.png.36e54299d3e8c8ef957b9ab310d0427e.png

Elanga moaned about me not keeping my promise to improve the right wing position so I had a quick look at who my scouts reccommended in this position and they said that Vicandi was the best option and at £2.5m he seemed like a good fit.  He hasn't played much yet but he is a good option on the bench and it made Elanga happy so that is good :D

Theodor Dinu - £7.75m from Cardiff

image.thumb.png.4f3be6f25ba7a4123cdc4a05f912da67.png

My scouts have been doing really well lately finding me quality young players and cheap prices.

Dinu only cost me £7.75m from Cardiff and his value is already gone up to £35-£43m. He has excellent Bravey, Determination and Balance. He also has a Driven personality.

Moammal Ahmed - £2.1m from Oxford

image.thumb.png.f105ed2c110646aba398f82c8faa8238.png

Ahmed came in from Oxford United for £2.1m as a cheap replacement for the departing Ronnie Edwards.  He has gone back on loan to Oxford United for the rest of the season as we have enough good central defenders as it is and I wanted him to get some playing time.

He has good Positioning, Bravery, Aggression and Stamina.

Jayce Fitzgerald - £12.25m from Derby County

image.thumb.png.f0f961d71ca6d2a8f4a57f9682c39210.png

My DOF signed the very versitle Fitzgerald and he has played well for us so far. He has a Determined personality and has great Anticipation and Natural Fitness. He will be a great option on the bench due to the different positions he can play.

Gabriel Moscardo - £3.4m from Bournemouth

image.thumb.png.338dc377e6f34dbe85a7367ac5ae3137.png

Moscarado who is highly rated in real life came in for £3.4m from Bournemouth. He has a good spread of attributes.

Jeramiah White - Loan from Leeds with an option to sign him for £25.5m

image.thumb.png.87285327b6aafed45a211f1c6801311c.png

My DOF decided to bring White in on deadline day. I was going to cancel the deal cos the optional fee seems quite high but he does have a Model Citizen personality and great Technique and Acceleration. He seems like an old school winger who just runs with the ball and causes defenders grief.

I spoke too soon with Newcastle taking the wind out of the crowd with them equalizing with a header from a corner. I am annoyed my defenders not marking Zebarmyi.

We end it 2-2 after 90 minutes played.

Some of the players looked knackered so I will bring on some fresh legs and hopefully we can get a extra time goal.
