smp20
A forgettable season as we languished in mid-table throughout the year and finished 9th. Post-summer break results continued as they were before. Inconsistent. Our 2020 title seems to have started a trend; BK Hacken followed Ostersunds and ourselves in winning their first ever top flight title. At the other end of the table IFK Goteborg had a shock relegation. Lindberg had the best goalscoring season of his career, ending with 17 Allsvenskan goals. More than his combined goals of the last 5 seasons! Our starlets Lundholm and Kayembe have been littered with injuries, leaving Elias Andersson as our leading creative type. We've got a bunch of young players that are bleeding in to the team. Haglund and Lindberg will not be re-signed next season, while captain Ahman-Persson is retiring. smp20
2023 Mid-Season Update A poor start to April finished well with a 7-1 thumping over the current champions BK Hacken. May was inconsistent, but we've really hit form after the summer break and a currently on a 4 game winning streak. I forgot to include the cup results, but we went out to Halmstad in the groups on goal difference after a 2-1-0 record. The cup was our only route to European football so we haven't got that. Silver lining = fixture congestion free season. Our latest results have shot us up the table and we've got a great chance of breaking into the top 4. Norrkoping and AIK are clear ahead, but that could all change. Champions BK Hacken don't look like they have a chance of retaining their title... With the exception of the striker position we've had a very settled line up: Lundholm has just picked up a 5 week injury which is a big blow as the wing-wonders of him and Kayembe have been in full flow of late. smp20
Youth Intake 2023: S*** Got Sirius The phrase that any 'youth only' FMer flips at when they see it. 'One of the best players of his generation'. Holy cow. He's siriusly, siriusly good!! He's already rated as the best player at the club at 16 and 2 months!!! Jackpot The money from CL thrown into the facilities and youth setup is paying off already.

smp20
Overall a decent season and a vast improvement on last years 9th place. Results We went through pockets of great winning streaks followed by a run of poor results. League Table IFK Norrkoping became the 6th new title winner in a row (AIK, Malmo, Sirius, Ostersunds, Hacken, Norrkoping) which shows what an open league the Allsvenksan is. In order to get into Europe we either need to win the cup ourselves, or rely on Norrkoping, Elfsborg or Malmo winning it so we get the last EL spot. Player Stats Kayembe has had a fantastic season, ending up 2nd top scorer in Allsvenskan. We've finally got a crop of youngsters coming through that are first team ready, including an outlier of a striker in Olle Lindh. Of course the most exciting player is newbie Joel Jakobsson, I'm still in shock! Upgrades Further improvements in the hope of more Jakobsson's to come. Thanks, enjoying the save so far. No I don't at all, just chose them because of them being based in Uppsala, Sweden's 4th city who have had very little success football wise compared to the big 3 cities and cities smaller than them. smp20
2024 Mid-Season Review Elfsborg won the cup, beating Malmo in the final meaning our 4th place position last season was enough to secure a chance of Europa League qualifying. Results It's been a half decent campaign so far, albeit far too many games in which we've failed to score. League Table A win in our final game against Elfsborg and we would have been right up there. I think we'll be vying for a top 4 place again. Player Stats Blomberg 22B and Alexandersson 22C are forming a partnership at centre back together. Lindh 19F is our top scorer and performer, a nice surprise.

smp20
Youth Intake 2024 Very happy with this intake! A so-called golden generation, led by a star in Henrik Grahn. Great all round attributes for a frontman, 6'4, 20 determination and professional personality...Grahn will be introduced straight into the first 11!!! I think I'm gonna have to start using AMCs by inverting our midfield trio - Freddie looks a cracking prospect. Another decent midfielder, Anton will add depth to our depleted midfield. Impressive attributes, shocking personality. Europa League We've made great progress in EL and another Norwegian side stands in our way of qualification. smp20
Mid-table all season and we finish in top half 6th place. Not bad, but certainly not good. Our only route into Europe is the cup. Elfsborg are yet another new winner of the title, the 6th new winner in as many seasons. Sweden is mad, as shown by Malmo's lowly 12th place finish too! We now have a good crop of youngster that have broken through. Elias Andersson finishes his time with us on a decent season, he will be a big miss. The Kids These are the crop of youth intake kids that have actually broke through and are playing regularly in the first team:

smp20
Europa League We've made it through to the Europa League groups for the first time; we played in the CL groups 4 years ago which feels like a lifetime! We had a comfortable route to the final qualifying stage where we managed to overcome a superior Spartak Moscow side. We have a very tough group, Brighton are now a EL regular, while Lazio have had a recent tycoon takeover. Youth Intake A disappointing intake, just Adnan Johnsson looking like he might amount to something. Ah well...

smp20
After a couple of years of midtable obscurity it was nice to be back in the fold for the title. Allsvenskan A bit of a wobble results-wise in September, but we finished the season well. We needed Hacken to slip up to have a chance of winning the title, but they just couldn't stop winning, finishing on an 11-1-0 record!!! Elsewhere Malmo went from title to contenders to 4th with 5 straight losses and IFK Goteborg got relegated again. Europa League We struggled against Lazio and Brighton, but I'm delighted with our results against Koln and being able to not finish bottom. Player Stats A sprinkling of new youngsters became first teamers - Molin and Akerlund in particular. Supporters player of the season went to Kayembe, but I want to highlight this guy: Olle's at the Wheel He came in as a nothing prospect, so much so he wasn't even picked as a player to highlight. He broke into the first team in the 2023 season after loans in the 4th tier in 2021 and 2022, mainly coming off the bench. He started 2024 as first choice, but lost his spot to Grahn. When Grahn was snapped up by PSG, Olle Lindh became first choice again and he's been superb. Technically he's not great at all, with his finishing his only attribute in double figures. But he's a quick, hard-working team-player who just seems to know where the net is.
Haguey
I love players like that. I'd never drop or replace a player who is still performing regardless of stats. I once had a player still in my first team with Stalybridge in the Prem that I signed in the Conference North - he had one star CA by then but nearly always averaged over 7.2 a season. smp20
2026 Mid-Season Update We're on a great unbeaten run going into the mid-season break, 4 points clear of last years champions Hacken. We lost to them in the cup semi-final, but Djurgardens managed to the snatch the cup from them in the final to stop the double.

smp20
2026 Youth Intake A great intake with 4 players with good current ability and high potential. Wiklund could be developed into the ideal DLP DM, a position we really need to fill with some quality. Karlsson will be re-trained as a marauding DR, a role I think he suits perfectly. I like my strikers to be grafter, but Johansson might turn out to have quality in front of goal that we can't turn down. Andersson will be trained as an inside forward AML. smp20
Europa League Stabaek were the closest to knocking us out in the qualifiers, afterwhich we comfortably disposed of Austria Wien and Akhmat. smp20
By far our best season to date League Table Sirius Invincibles Europa League We overcame the odds and managed to finish top of our EL group! We now face Zenit in the first KO round. Hacken and AIK also made the knockouts, Swedish football is on the up!! Player Stats Our front-line trio of Lindh, Kayembe and Lundholm were in great form yet again, but our biggest improvement was with our defence. Blomberg and Alexandersson have formed a great partnership, while the experienced Bjornstrom was outstanding. New Stadium No details as of yet, but we're expecting a new stadium in the near future.
