Against Como we were missing 8 first team players due to internationals for both legs, yet somehow we eked out a result. Then we did it the real hard way in the final by going to penalties. My nerves were frayed, but my players were unfazed and missed no penalties to send us into the Serie B for the first time in the clubs history. This is much needed as well because of the finances and now we might convince our players to stay a bit longer. Key Players This was the season where Claudio really showed me what he could do. The last 2 teams are Alessandria and us. I know we won't come last, but I'm hoping we stay above the bottom 3. I'm going to be doing less updates, I'll be doing one during the winter break and one at the end of the season, just to add a bit of suspense and make the seasons go a little quicker. Yeah I thought about continuing with month to month but thought it’d be better to give two updates to leave a little more suspense. Yeah he really is great, I don’t think he’s going to br with us very long unfortunately, but he is attracting interest from clubs like Milan and Roma so he’s clearly very very good. Our two best players and also only good strikers will depart the team at the end of the season. Whilst it's good they are going to big clubs, this leaves us in a very bad position next season. We got plenty of other potential top tier talent as well, an extraordinarily deep intake. Oh yes. I am signing him to be with us for the next 5 seasons at least. shaunvamos Posted May 27, 2018 Author Share Posted May 27, 2018 October 2024 I changed my formation from 5-2-1-2 WB back to the 4-3-2-1 DM Wide that I used in Andorra for the last two games, and I was rewarded with 2 wins over very strong opposition. Even though we were doing alright with 3 at the back I felt we were getting very exposed so I changed to a more stable formation again and I'm glad to see it worked a treat.
