Makoto Nakamura
2023/24 Pre-Season A solid pre-season. We have to actually win a Coupe de France game? Oh dear. 4th for the last 2 seasons but with the improvements I've tried to make the media expects us to win the league. Improvements! I brought in the best players I could that didn't require a transfer fee.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2023 Great start to the season, we win the Coupe de Champions (Super Cup equivalent) and we're 2 wins from 2 in the league without conceding a goal.

Thanks Slipky, the leagues with the higher reputations are Vanuatu, Fiji and New Zealand's top tier and I can only really see myself going to New Zealand, the Waitakere Utd job became available in pre-season and I applied for it and had an interview but I think my rep was too low in the end, I have 1* rep and the manager they went for had 2*. I'm now going for the Continental A Licence and will have it in September 2024, hopefully I can make the jump to New Zealand soon though.

Not for the purpose of this, no. DazRTaylor
Just curious, if you ever won the French Cup as a Tahiti side, would you qualify for the Europa League? Yeah it makes sense you would be barred, but if this isn’t the case, that is one hell of a Challenge. Won the Champions League with a Tahitian side. 😂

Makoto Nakamura
2023/24 End of Season Just the one league defeat! I really want to try my hand in New Zealand now, my contract runs out at the end of June. If nothing comes up in New Zealand (Canterbury Utd's manager is insecure but the fans have laughed me off) Then I will be willing to drop to Fiji or at a big push Vanuatu. Fiji has 14 league games but 4 domestic cups to contend for and Vanuatu has 2 domestic cups and 2 continental cups since as well as the O-League they also enter the Melanesian Super Cup with 2 Solomon Islands teams in a small league. 2023/24 Best XI Justin Velez Mael Vieille - Justin Marchand - Mathis Lasserre (YP6d) Adrien Barbach Oscar Moine (YP6b) Gregoire Lang - Dorian Salmon Bastien Thibert - Patrick Cohen - Ali Bonnet Season | Club | Country | League | Pos | Notes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017 | Weloy Strikers | Micronesia | YFA Island Wide League | 1st | League & Yap Games Winners! 2018 | Weloy Strikers | Micronesia | YFA Island Wide League | 1st | League Runners up, 3rd in Yap Games Group A -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2019 | Navutoka | Tonga | Tonga Major League | 2nd | League Runners up 2020 | Navutoka | Tonga | Tonga Major League | 1st | League Winners! 2021 | Navutoka | Tonga | Tonga Major League | - | 3rd in O-League Group C. Makoto Nakamura
Digicel Amicale FC is an association football club from Vanuatu. They play in the highest level in Vanuatu, the Premia Divisen and play in the continental OFC Champions League. The club has reached and lost the finals of the 2010–11 and 2013–14 OFC Champions League, both times against Auckland City. They are sponsored by Digicel Vanautu and Hyundai Motor Company. I could have waited for a New Zealand club, but I don't like waiting and pressing continue so I've gone to the 3rd best rated league in Oceania and a club that has a 1.5* reputation! A very, very young first team! Promising youth as well!
Mushtaq
Nice choice. As a New Zealander I am looking forward to when you make the move there. But Amicale is one of the best clubs in the islands - a good stepping stone. This has really got me wanting to start an Oceania save! Just not sure if I want to do journeyman or youth only. I'm looking forward to it as well, I'll happily stay here and wait for an opening in New Zealand instead of declaring interest in insecure jobs since Amicale seem to have a very strong squad and good facilities for the level. Definitely do a save!
