Happy New Year everyone! I hope your year started off as great as mine did....

We had a massive turnaround after the first two games. I changed to an attacking 4-4-2 instead of defending against the bigger teams, Needless to say, it worked!

I really wanted a Portuguese team. We've lost both times we've played City, in the Europa League 10 years ago.

Not the worst of groups. Great progress as always. Do Maric and Subert play the same position?

Thanks! Maric is listed as a right winger, but he mostly plays left wing as he is accomplished there, and we have zero quality left wingers after him. Subert is basically our starting RM, but there are three rated the same as he is, Maric and our supposed generational talent Isakovic, but I think my HOYD dropped the ball on that assumption.

Class of 2021 Update

Filip Milosavljevic 4A*

Probably our best ever player that is no longer at the club. He was falling down the pecking order and Spartak came knocking. But he improved a lot, and scored nearly 100 goals for us.

Jovica Ilic 4B

Hasn't had a good career at all.

Lazar Mrdja 4C

The difference from then to now is crazy, pretty much at least a 3 point improvement in most categories. Over 250 appearances and counting, he's been our first choice keeper for the last 6 seasons, but still no national cap. Scored over 50 goals too, which I know is a tradition for many players on here.

2030/31 Season Review

0f70bef63d2b016752602455ce2fd869.png

I think you could say this is a closer season, because we lost 2 games. That being said everyone is just competing for second place but the league is getting stronger with the introduction of foreign players. Our most successful season yet I think given our efforts in Europe.

Key Players

b25080cdb4e223a722c71def4c284d32.png

Subert wins his 3rd straight PotY after another phenomenal season, managing to top his efforts from the previous season.

ae43e821750cf4d820663ace60eb0982.png

Subert's wing partner was also in lethal touch again.

1a68f63a74d4d5338d4aa0403a47bdfd.png

This kid is going to be great. Only his second season in the game, and he's in our top 3 performers for the season. I had to turn down offers from Porto, Benfica, Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, Liverpool and Tottenham, so we may have a gem on our hands here.

Other News

Berane: beat Milsami (MOL) 3-0 before losing to Beitar Jerusalem (ISR) 2-1 in the EL 2nd QR.

Rudar Pljevlja: beat Torpedo Zhodino (BLR) 5-1, and Hajduk (CRO) 3-1 before losing on penalties to Djurgardens (SWE) in the EL 3rd QR.

Grbalj: beat St Pats Athletic (IRL) 6-0, and AS Trencin (SVK) 3-2 before losing 7-1 to Southampton (ENG) in the EL 3rd QR.

The U19s defended their title with absolute ease! 2 goals conceded all tournament.

The national team were promoted into the Euro League 1st Division after finishing ahead of Switzerland and Scotland in their group.

I don't know how we scored 8 away, and how this was a bigger scoreline than the Austria Wien game. But we are in the groups once more.

I think we got very, very lucky with the draw again. Feyenoord are definitely the weakest top seeds.

We are now starting to look like a team that can hold it's own in Europe and not get smashed by the bigger teams. We were so close to beating Feyenoord away but lost the lead and by extension a spot in the last 16. That being said, we are into the Europe knockouts, and I have a good feeling.

2032 Youth Intake

118f900f3112b8aa211b40b20bf84b66.png

This is an amazing intake so far into this save, with all our players coming from the middle of the pitch. Incredible batch of determination.

555d6917d48929aae905cd1c28f4d91e.png

I love everything about him. Except his height maybe.

cff144e050bcb573cdcbf8fbcaca159f.png

Needs to grow a bit but his jumping reach may help him here.

fdc4e332b94761135475982c1e85ce7d.png

Decent technicals but has no jumping reach despite being over 6 foot. Might have to hire some of those coaches at Liverpool

Class of 2022 10 Years On

This was described as a 'golden generation' for our club. Let's see where the top 3 are.

Radomir Mamula 5A

a7f21b7d180eeb3d19b58c114d83f0b2.png

fcb2db7fbdd3afaa1fbccec50e87f44b.png

Didn't improve much and was sold to Celik. Featured in the first team every season after that.

Miljan Kaludjerovic 5B

292f9e1f3bd62b780ef2c7eb717566f7.png

Was a bit of a fringe player for us but ultimately didn't cut it.

Milan Davidovic 5C

f6761603c96c519ddf53b4e50e10ef09.png
48e9f1e42c7a5448140c167124e98e07.png

f2113cf4869fa566dff946824bc936cb.png

Was never going to get a game in front of our GK from the previous intake.

So much for the so called golden generation.

The only player worth mentioning was the 4th one, even though I don't have a before picture here he is currently.

He's had a great career for us and has nearly 50 caps to his name.

Safely through, and we equal our best ever performance at a European tournament!

8798ae2c7b9e88177977352dc3873211.png

The only team that worries me here is Chelsea. Maybe Celtic and Dortmund too.

0192c2762c1ddb272cd7a688aa47c7eb.png

Bring on Dortmund!

We've played each other three times, twice in the 2029/30 Champions League where we drew and lost, and once this season in a mid season friendly in which we beat them 3-0. I'd like to think we have the upper hand.

Well the fairytale is over :(  We just couldn't keep them out at home. That being said, our performance could raise our country coefficient into an automatic group spot! I'll have to double check when the rankings get released, but it looks like we will.

2031/32 Season Review

fb4d0a7dc98841fe8d9b25e63dff6be5.png

More of the same really, except we lost 3 matches this time. Ever closer.

Key Players

f6cdbfba3567a8099d2f9a313c4dfc1d.png

4 PotY straight for Subert. Was our assist leader this season and selected in the Euro squad (spoiler alert).

921e5549443e20b08eaa967f7e8b585f.png

Missed a chunk of the season due to injury, but was still very good for us scoring and assisting plenty.

6154938e4254928bb2821cea92772c0b.png

55 goals and 25 assists across all competitions. Phenomenal season.

Other News

I forgot to detail the 2030 World Cup which was won by home nations Spain over France 2-1, with Portugal in 3rd. England were beaten by Tunisia in the last 16.

Rudar Pljevlja: beat KuPS (FIN) 4-1 and Vitoria Setubal (POR) 3-1 before losing 6-0 to Krasnodar (RUS) in the Europa 4th QR.

Mornar Bar: beat Lincoln (GIB) 2-0,  Vojvodina (SRB) 6-4, Schalke (GER) 1-0 before finally losing at the last hurdle to Celta Vigo (ESP) 2-0.

Mladost Podgorica: beat Riga (LTV) 5-2 before losing 3-1 to Rijeka (CRO) in the EL 2nd QR.

54334aa24a410040859ba6775381083e.png

I'm not sure if his ratings were inflated because of the qualifiers, but it's impressive all the same.

The national team qualified for the 2032 EURO, as mentioned before, beating Romania and Austria in the playoffs. They're in a group with Russia, Turkey and Spain. It will be interesting to see how they go and if the manager will get sacked if he does the same as I did. 14 Budocnost players are in the squad, 3 from Grbalj, and 1 each from Zeta, Mornar Bar, Rudar and Sutjeska.

45dbb0b0d1226d884cd2aac3b0cfea62.png

This is the first and only regen to win the Ballon D'Or so far. Messi finished with 10, and the next best after 10 is Mbappe with 5.

947ea8a8e0017dcea3c396717c83f5c2.png

YES!!!

There will be at least 2 teams in Europe the season after next!

c8f53e326268937c51b89d6d58b07a78.png

The club and league ranking is at an all time high, and everything else is increasing.

Fantastic Europa run, I got spoilt by your success and thought you would beat Ajax but that is certainly unfair to expect that

Me too, I had a funny feeling we were going to go all the way, but then they woke me up and put me in my place.

Yeah. Jeez, some values are really low because of the coefficient rankings.

I think it's based on our reputation too, we are only 3* so if we were 4* or something the price would be much higher. That being said I can negotiate higher prices with teams that are offering for my players but just as they get to nearly double or more of the original value I reject them 😈 I may not be endearing myself to the managers but I don't need their support anyway as it's all about growth from within.

Class of 2023 10 Years On

Nenad Bojovic 6A

Nenad is still with us, and what a career he has had. He's our highest ever league goalscorer with 180 and has averaged over a 7 rating over 10 seasons which is amazingly consistent. He's not done either, he's still a big part of the team, even though he doesn't always start.

Nemanja Radosavljevic 6B

d62cf64788ac7b8f694a948794d76e5a.png

Actually had 2 good seasons for us before falling out of favour and joining another top Montenegrin club.

Armin Ibrahimovic 6C*

17d0ab88922e4d59fb31c81217c02c9e.png

He has actually had a good career for us and internationally as well, but was eventually pushed out as more CBs came through and some could play RB better.

Class of 2018 15 Years On

I won't do screenshots here, just a little update on what the top 3 are doing now.

Milorad Martinovic 1A: Still with us, broke his leg in 2032 but apart from that has still featured.

259 games, 7 goals, 6 assists, 4 PotM, 7.17 AR, 68 caps, 3 goals.

Nenad Svitic 1B: Picked up by Petrovac in 2029 and has been there ever since.

317 games, 361 Conceded, 106 clean sheets, 4PotM, 6.82 AR.

Aleksa Starcevic 1C: Sold to Sampdoria in Italy after wanting a new challenge. I let him go for 2.1M as we have plenty of youngsters with better potential. Has played a fair amount there as well.

344 games, 63 goals, 48 assists, 38 PotM, 7.37 AR, 66 caps, 6 goals.

Yeah true. I'm looking now for a LLM game as well without the youth rule. I don't know about your tactics in the EL/CL by the way, but I tend to play counter-attacking-ish against top tier teams.

Oh yeah nice, where you thinking of managing? I now have three tactics, all with the same formation and instructions, but with different mentalities. If we are the clear favourites in a match, or 2.00< in decimal odds, I play attacking, if the opponent has odds 2.00< I play standard, and everything in between I play control. I used to play defensive in matches where we weren't the favourites, but I found that we wouldn't score goals, and counter wouldn't really work for us either so I just stuck it at standard and have been able to get wins from there.

Yes, we were dominated at the Nou Camp. But, we drew at home, and only lost 2-0 in a match where had 5 first teamers out due to suspension or injury. So there's positives from this for sure!

I had a game with Ravenna (Serie C, Italy) for a few seasons. Now looking for an other club but I have no idea where. I really hate leagues with a small amount of clubs though. I found attacking a bit too much, always leave it on standard nowadays.

Oh yeah nice! England Scotland and Northern Ireland are always good, multiple divisions and with the last two there's room for growth in Europe.

2032/33 Season Review

6694faa712e8cef229cef1bec3637aec.png

Yep cool.

Key Players

Bit of a changing of the guard here, as some of the younger players start to break through.

66b08b30067f846966f6bdc2fe748f22.png

Here's the first of our next big things, who was unlucky to feature on this page last season. His first full season in the first team was eventful with over 40 goals and nearly 30 assists. It's also the first time I've ever had a complete forward! I've had to reject offers for him too, could you blame me?

2bc1919a31239cfbe5246094c5b9ac3c.png

Along with Stojanovic,  Mitrovic is our best player. I retrained him at LM and that's where he stayed for most of the season. Only played half the season in the league but was key for us in Europe and made the CL team of the season for the second year running. Monaco, the previous seasons CL winners and Bayern are desperate to land him.

b388e176e325fa0a7cfd2e9ca4b901ac.png

Bit of a veteran feel here, even though he's only 26.

Other News

Petrovac: Beat Anorthosis Famagusta (CYP) 2-1 before losing 3-0 to AZ (NED) in the EL 3rd QR.

Rudar Pljevlja: lost 2-1 to Zilina (SVK) in the EL 2nd QR.

Mornar Bar: lost 3-0 to Partizan (SRB) in the EL 3rd QR.

Montenegro got one point from their Euro group. Did the manager get sacked?

Nope.

They were relegated from their Division 1 European League group without winning a game. They score 1 goal in 4 games while conceding 10. Did the manager get sacked?

Nope.

Montenegro are at their lowest ranking in 8 seasons. Why won't the manager get sacked?

Speaking of the Euros, Italy beat Croatia in the final 3-0, and England made the semis losing to Croatia. Bulgaria, Serbia and Switzerland made the last 8.

db2f26ed425d0af2375191d0b2838597.png

Correct me if I'm wrong, but essentially this means we get 3 European group stage spots right?
