Finally catching up in here. Solid work in Germany, and a great start in England. Once you get the finances sorted, you'll really take off!

The finances are a worry except we have an overall balance of £104m, with new contracts we're now spending £75K p/w over the wage budget but I want to try and get rid of Andre Ayew and Sofiane Feghouli in January and that would free up £159K p/w.

We were very lucky to draw against Man Utd, we spent 52 minutes with 10 men and had 1 shot compared to their 27 and then we go and hammer Chelsea 4-0 away and Liverpool 5-1 at home thanks again to amazing 1st half performances which sees us climb to 3rd at the half way stage!

Basel is a great draw!

Losses away to Arsenal and Tottenham in the league pushes us down to 4th, I'm hoping that Arsenal's form remains sketchy and that we can hold on to 4th.

I sold Sofiane on the cheap and Andre is gone for now which cleared a lot of room in the wages..but it hasn't changed anything and I'm just as or even more confused with FFP than I was before.

We're below our wage budget but this was it at the start of the season and surely we could have lessened the transfer budget  to put into the wage budget if it's that much of a problem? Our salary is also just £70.76m per annum, which is 12th out of the 20 Premier League clubs.

I don't understand.

Just the 2 league games but we manage to climb up to 3rd and make it through to the FA Cup Quarter Final after victories over Brighton and Arsenal, we face Huddersfield next. In the Europa League we beat Basel 8-0 over 2 legs but don't know yet who we'll play in the next round.

This is all the player wage info, which adds up to £1,352,725 per week, or £70,341,700 over the course of 52 weeks, and that's only if every player were here earning their full wages, and some players are out on loan so we're saving around £87,800 p/w I think, I'm still none the wiser on any of this.

A solid draw away to Man City and we're through to the FA Cup Semi Final where we'll face Southampton, the other tie will see Bournemouth host Man Utd. We also squeak through to the Europa League Quarter Finals.

Europa League winners! 3 days later a tired team that went down to 10 early on just couldn't deal with Man Utd. Hopefully not too much will come of this FFP.

Maybe the projection takes into account all the possible additional bonus that could be paid out and not just the base wage.

£81m for Lanzini? City have gone mad.

City have spent £456m on 19 players over the last 3 seasons! In the same time they've made £172.25m in selling 14 players, bearing in mind that they sold Kevin de Bruyne for £108m...

An unbeaten month where we draw away to Man City in the league, at least we're playing all the big teams away from home in the 1st half of the season, hopefully it will mean a nicer end to the season, in the Champions League it's a straight forward victory over Molde and then a draw against Milan, which is actually disappointing since we took the lead in the 84th minute only for M'baye Niang to equalise in the 91st.

If I were the owner and I heard my manager sold KDB for £108m, I would have patted him on the back for some decent business. Then once I found out he spent £81m on Manuel bloody Lanzini as the replacement, I would thrown him into the Manchester canal

Lanzini has 1 goal, 2 assists and 1 PoM award in 11 games this season, avg rating of 6.77, looks like a bad investment! :D

Great signings and great Europa run. By the way is ResG just a nickname you gave Marcus Browne or does it mean something?

It means he starts the game in the reserve team and he was ranked 7th in terms of potential of players in the reserve team.

We lost to Arsenal but wins in every over game keeps our top 4 hopes alive and we have a game in hand over Tottenham and 2 games in hand over Arsenal and Man City. We knock Man Utd out of the EFL Cup and in the Final we'll face Southampton which is a great chance for us to win our first piece of silverware!

Slip-ups to both Leicester and Tottenham have seen us drop out of the top 4 due to Chelsea's 5 wins from their last 5 games and with just 7 games left we really can't afford to slip up. At least we have already guaranteed European football with our 1-0 victory over Southampton in the EFL Cup Final! It may not be last seasons Europa League but silverware is silverware! :D We also now face Stoke in the FA Cup Semi Final and we do the unthinkable by knocking out PSG 5-1 on aggregate!

We lost the 1st leg against Man Utd but we came back strong and hopefully we can now hold off Arsenal even though they've scored 2 away goals, the other Semi Final sees Tottenham face Napoli. Tottenham lead 1-0 after the 1st leg, in the league we're only just holding on to 4th with 4 games left and in the FA Cup we're into the final where we'll be facing Liverpool.
