WIN ONE TAKE ONE INTERNATIONAL GAME

What is the Win One Take One International Game?

The Win One Take One International Game is a fun interactive game using the FM In-Game editor. As the title of the game suggests if you win a match then you can take one of the oppositions players. If you lose you will lose your least rated STARTING player (If you lose to another members nation then you lose who they choose) If you draw your lowest rated STARTING player is switched with the oppositions lowest rated STARTING player.

You must make your selection within 24 hours of my post (I will make sure to tag everybody in this post) If you don't submit your selection you will be skipped and given 1 strike (3 strikes and your out) You can let me know beforehand in private messages if you can't select (I will just move their highest valued player over)

AT the moment there is no limit as to how many members take part so all is welcome at any time but if it gets too hard/time consuming I will not allow new entries.

To join all you need to do is post what nation you want to be it is that simple!

I will say now though that Germany and Japan are off limits as I don't have their national teams on my game/Can't be stuffed downloading files to enable them. If your nation plays them and you win you can still take one of their players.

You can be any other nation though from Brazil to Bhutan :p

I would like to start this game once we get a good amount of users in (I'm thinking once we get 8 members I will release the first post and then others can join when they wish)

First off though I would like to announce that I will be selecting Switzerland as my nation

Tricky decision actually, and the temptation is to go for Alexis Sanchez but I think Colombia have plenty of firepower already so instead I'll take Arturo Vidal please.

I've been wondering, since normally when a player is declared for a nation they cannot switch, has that rule been avoided somehow? I haven't found any of the "signed" players on any of the teams yet, I just want to make sure that's not going to happen.

Using the In game editor I have just changed their nationality (This automatically makes them declared for their new nation) It is strange though that none of the changed players have played yet but I did this same game on fm16 over on another forum and Chile ended up with James, Messi and Neymar and became a big force. I don't know if this changed in fm17 though? I will do a test to see if this still works..

OK so I holidayed to the next international break (november - we are still in october) and am pleased to report that the players that get selected do indeed play for their new nations - See Colombia for an example with Vidal and Cristian Ramirez both now playing for them
