Makoto Nakamura
March 2047 We got past PSV easily enough in the end to send us through to the Quarter Finals whilst in the league we're 2 points ahead of PSG with just 7 games to go!
Makoto Nakamura
April 2047 4 games to go in the league and we're still unable to shake PSG so it looks like a title that will go down to the wire. In the French Cup we'll face either Stade Rennais or Saint-Etienne in the final and we won the Coupe de la Ligue for the 3rd season in the row! We face my old club Juventus who still have star GK Sekou Ouattara who's rated as the 4th best African player (they also have the best African player, 2nd best Asian player, Best European player and one of the best North Americans) I'm not looking forward to it. Makoto Nakamura
2046/47 European Roundup Champions League: Europa League: European Super Cup: Interesting things this season: One for @Pompeyboyz in that Linfield did not win the Northern Irish league! They lost to Crusaders away from home in the final game of the season, giving them the title and it means Linfield don't win the league for the 31st time in a row. One for I think @mjaferrie since a while ago he mentioned Partick Thistle. Partick Thistle win the league by 32 points with Celtic in 6th and Rangers in 7th! And one for me that I find funny. FK Poltava finish 6th in the Ukrainian league but were so dire after the league split by losing every game that they finished with the worst goal difference in the league and actually had enough points to get relegated! Makoto Nakamura
Throwing in a curve-ball I've spent 20 seasons going from big club to big club so for the last nation that I really wanted to win the top league in I've decided to do it differently, by building up a club from the bottom league to the very top and Leatherhead fit the bill, 2047 is the first time they've been promoted to the playable leagues and there are next to no players, no staff and yet, for some reason, there's quite a lot of money. Hopefully I can take Leatherhead to the Premier League and beyond. That's the dream anyway.

I had an issue where I had a small team with a large stadium get too high gates for home FA Cup games and it meant I made too much money. For contrast our stadium has 3,000 capacity and the highest capacity stadium in the divisions below us are Halifax with 14,061.

Makoto Nakamura
2047/48 Pre-Season We had no players and no staff for the first two games but we destroyed Witham Town and surprisingly beat Reading Under 23's so hopefully morale is going to be good going into the first game of the season. Board want top half and the media predict 4th, I hope I can live up to expectations. Signings:
Makoto Nakamura
August 2047 I'm very happy with the start to life as Leatherhead manager, we're in the playoff spots early on which is what the media predicted but it's going to be tough to stay here. I also brought in a few more players to add depth during August.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2047 Losses to Dorchester and Dulwich Hamlet but with 3 wins we still hold on to the final playoff spot due to our goal difference. I've stopped looking for players but the DoF made 5 more signings in September.
Tullem
Quite a change of scenery! And I'm pretty sure Leatherhead is owned by someone with a fair bit of money IRL (hence Jimmy Bullard's involvement..) so not too surprised by their budgets in game.
