Predicted rock bottom. It's been hard getting decent players in, every single League 2 club and 4 Vanarama National clubs have a higher reputation than us! In the league we're in the playoff positions very early on although I expect us to drop down the table pretty quickly with almost every team having a game in hand over us. Makoto Nakamura Posted May 28, 2017 Author Share Posted May 28, 2017 November 2050 Poor, a win against St Albans puts us into the 2nd Round of the FA Cup where we face Grimsby and with victory over Brentford we've drawn Oxford in the Checkatrade Trophy 2nd Round. We played against a lot of B's in October with 4 in a row and we only ended up getting 3 points from 12 which slips us back down to 9th and 4 points from the playoffs. Playing at home against Dagenham and Redbridge in the final game and George Jones finds the winner even though a draw would be enough! Next season is going to be very difficult, quite a few of these players have been with us since the Vanarama days and we don't exactly have a lot of money to spend, initial budgets suggest that I'm going to have a £48K p/w wage budget in the Championship and we're currently spending £26K of it. There's quite a gap in terms of wages in League One and comparing it to the bottom of the Championship: And we still have the tiny stadium and no money. Probably one that @ManUtd1 wouldn't want to see but despite winning the league 6 times since the save started, Malmo have been relegated to the Superettan (and are currently 4th after 11 games.)
