nine_iron
Baba Ginoosh As the players are so young or maybe have low CA the stats are not fully maxed out, I assume as the season progresses they will improve closer to those chosen in the signup. It does seem that the chosen stats have generates some bias but things have not turned out exactly as I hoped.
Babaginoosh
Baba Ginoosh has terrible mental stats, but then again he is only 15 so lets see how they develop. Looks like he is on his way to becoming a more offensive minded midfielder, i was hoping for better defensive stats but then again you never know how it will turn out

nine_iron
-ITFC Official Blog #5- Wednesday the 31st of August- First Humber Cup Match The first competitive game the squad faced was a Humber Cup home tie against Spalding. Ben Smith made an instant impact and set a tough milestone for the fastest goal at 1 mintue and 30 seconds (also a Humber Cup record). Putting his body on the line Spaldings towering centerback scored a diving header 12 minutes later. Mablethorpe born Talbott broke through and tucked away the winner on 65 minutes, making it all look to easy in the process. These early records may have been set easily but scoring at just over 15 years old Talbott looks to be part of the record books for a while yet! Friday the 2nd of September Nevo makes his debut for the San Marino Senior side but lets in 6 goals against Holland. Luke Doyle and Baba Ginoosh barely feature in a 2-0 loss to Australia U21s. Wednesday 7th of September - Humber Cup match #2 International news: Nevo plays for the San Marino senior side again but lets in 5 goals against Sweden. Luke Doyle and Baba Ginoosh also feature for the Lincs & Humber U21s side as they play Luxembourg but loose out 2-1 against a squad captained by team mate Han Sol Geni. No players from the club squad made an impact however. Away from the international stage... In the end seperating the sides came down to an own goal from Chris Warrington. Immingham should be pleased with this in what was a scrappy and generally poor game. The stats suggest Immingham may have come out on top with more luck in front of goal. Third choice Sunday league team keeper Chris Stanhope did well as the two first choice players were away on international duty. I have a template and now can churn out two matches pretty easily each evening. With about 50 matches to cover ( I think) if you include internationals I think I should take about three months to get through a season. I hope everyone is OK with this pace, if it does get tedious let me know and I will consider a change to cover more ground.

Its all randomised, I have no idea what is going to happen! It could all bomb out and be boring or it could come down to the last game of the season! Yes the stats are not high but thats not what this is all about, its a story told by the players you helped shape. EDIT: I do however have a couple of surprises and plans up my sleeve to keep things interesting... All for later in the season though!

Genie scout shows this as a rating out of 5 stars, the more stars, the quicker the player will reach his potential and naturally increase his attributes. I have no doubt the thread will stay interesting. Its Football Manager, keeps us locked at our lappy/PC for days. ( : Also, I stated my Town of birth as Doncaster. Will I be eligible to play for Humber and Lincs national team, or will I need citizenship? Cheers

Not familiar with Genie Scout, only ever used FMRTE and thats for database testing. I have let the game assign pretty much everything, I didn't want you guys running away and winning every game by four goals now did I Everyone in the squad can play for Lincs & Humber, just some have chosen their second nationality. Dadly for us that means both our keepers can disappear off on international duty.
Tactic Master
I think this pace is better, because we get to know what's happening game by game and for this sort of sign-up, thats fine Been away yesterday with the girlfriend, so thats my reason for a days inactivity Seem to be slipping out of the first 11 now, although the stand in goalkeeper isn't doing any better than I did As for the 5 goals conceded in the San Marino match, that was probably down to the fact that San Marino is one of the worst as a Nation and can't defend to save their lives! I'm highly doubtfull I will make much of a difference.

Sadly on the stroke of half time Immingham went down to 10 men as Geni received a second yellow. Hedon pulled one back on 50 mins as Immingham hoped to hold out. They received a restbite when Hedon themselved lost a man to a red card with 12 minutes left. Teron Fong sustains a twisted ankle and looks like having 2 months on the sidelines. He joines Martyn James and David Ginsberg who are both recovering fast and should be back in training this week. The first training report is in and most of the squad has made decent progress in technical stats but some physical stats seemed to have suffered such as those of Nathan Walker. Those who have improved the most are Netto, Talbott and Martyn James. nine_iron
That was the last update for today, I am really disappointed that the form has dropped away. It was all going so well until they lost a game or two, hopefully upcoming league and Humber Cup games can get the squad spirit lifted again. I have noticed they physical stats have been dropping away but the technical stats are improving, I think this must be a training issue, its not happening to all the players but in some its quite noticeable. Lets hope things don't continue on the current path as these are worrying times! EDIT: Going back through adding in the assist detail, realised I missed a blog post #7, this was by accident so therefore there is no #7, it jumps from 6 to 8 with no matches missed inbetween. Sorry if I caused any confusion there!
