Otherwise good season mate its a start 7. It is harder to retain possession of the ball in France because a lot of teams play with 2 DM's against you. They make a lot of back passes which make it very hard to gain possession.8. Despite point no.7, I've noticed that its usually in games where you have less possession that you score more. Whenever I've score 4 or more, I've mostly had possession around 40%. Conincidence? Might be. Probably true both obeservations, but I must admit for me I have over 40% most of the time and still score often, im sure a lil tweak of your formation here and there will improve the possesion percentage. 3. Fred is very much dispensable on the latest patch. Although still very good, he's nowhere near as good as on the previous patches. Shame that, as he was one of my favs on the earlier versions. Fred is not the same on 8.02, which is dissapointing. He is a shade of his 8.01 self. 4. Kallstrom, while not as good as some of the others in his position, is very consistent and usually gets you important goals. Was going to sell him but am very hesitant now. Kallstorm can seem to be doing not much, but he has worked his way into my team. He can do the job of filling Juninho's void. Kallstorm is a class player, I would keep him! But every now and then you do get games where you lose a lot of possession when some players are maybe off color or something. But yeah, whenever I only had like 40% or less of it, I usually scored 4 or 5 goals. I think its mostly because the teams sit back and keep passing the ball around the back. Scores even more than Briand in my team even though they play almost the same number of games. I'm in Season 2 also btw. Try unsettling Mexes through out the season, it worked for me. Also i was missing ben arfa from the first leg. And the odds on Schalkes only two strikers having the best performance of their life again is very slim. Lloris has been dropped for conceding 4 for the second time this season! Costil is taking his spot till he messes up. Fine fine, I'm in my third season but I haven't had much time to play it really. Looked at your post, you team looks good mate. No real need for a player in your starting eleven, you may want to replace Samba on the bench but its hardly nesscarry! Only missing a 7 star set piece guy, I have a six star guy but I wants seven waiting for a regen! I got Juninho as a coach on 1K a week, but sadly he isn't that good only a 5-6 star coach in attacking or technique! But 3 stars for set piece! C'mon! Seriously when I got him back from loan I only planned to play him in the 2nd team but he has forced himself into the first team now in front of Menez to partner RIbery and Ben Arfa. His form have been nothing short of magical and to all doubters of his abilities, you HAVE to give him a try. Here are his stats: Played 17(4) Scored 13 Assists 7 and MoMs 6. I had been using him in the second season but i had an offer accepted for him by the chairman, and it really was too good to turn down. Anyway, my transfer dealings so far: Transfers In Raul Albiol - 14.5M (Release clause) Jeremy Menez - 5M (Monaco got relegated) Federico Balzaretti - 5M + 6.5M over 12 months Toni Kroos - Player exchange (See below) Transfers Out Anthony Reviellere - 9M (Sunderland, they got into UEFA Cup!) Fabio Gross - 6M (Blackburn) Gregory Coupet - 2.5M over 6 months (Leverkusen) Cris - 2.7M () Lubos Kalouda - 7.5M + 30% sell on + Toni Kroos (Bayern) I got handed a 28M transfer budget at the start of the season. After the transfer dealings, I'm now left with 31.48M to spend. My team: GK - Neuer LB - Balzaretti, Mathieu RB - Clerc, Balzaretti, Samba CB - Albiol, Samba CB - Squillaci, Bellaid, Bodmer DM - Zapater, Bodmer CM - Toulalan, Bodmer, Kallstrom, Kroos LM - Ben Arfa, Menez, Juninho, A.R.Traore RM - Keita, Ben Arfa, Menez ST - Benzema ST - Fred, Cavani I reckon I've got a good squad there. I'm not gonna transfer list him as I dont want to run the risk of him being unhappy if nobody makes a decent bid. But would like to see him go. I think I can get Gourcuff instead. He meets all the criteria you've stated. However, if you want younger i'd go for D.Le Tallec or V.Acapandie. Both can potentially become really good. However, it does vary from save to save. Striker as mentioned Gignac is good but is rather expensive and has high wage demands (he did with me), also have a look at Quercia (topscorer in my game), Cisse isn't to bad imo, you could have a go at Henry or Trez. but they are "old". Song doesnt develop into anything great. Maybe for a mid-level team he'd be a decent player but not for Lyon. Especially considering you can get guys like Zapater, Veloso, Hamsik cheaper. Sell him mate. Transfer list him and hope for the best I suppose. But dont expect to get your money back as I doubt you'll get anybody bidding that much. Anyway, a question to everyone: I've got too many MC's/AMC's. Toulalan, Bodmer, Kallstrom, Ederson, Kroos, Zapater. I can only play 2 at a time. So my question is simple: who do I get rid of between Ederson and Kallstrom? Ederson is still developing I reckon. Does he get as good as Kallstrom or is he some way short? Simple, get rid of Ederson. He may still be developing, but Kallstrom is a god and can even be retrained to an AML.
