Metal_Guitarist's Football Manager 2011 11.2 Database Update

So what you did was to move players to the correct teams, i guess also to update/set their contracts duration and salary, so what is missing is to add/rest the transfer amounts to the proper teams and maybe to adjust salary budgets, am i right?

If so, besides the top transfers that were about a ton of money, i guess that starting with your current update and with transfer budgets off for the first season, we can play without a lot of troubles, and in the second season, teams will adapt their budgets to their players and salaries, am i right?

Contract durations have been done, and a couple of salary changes where I know the figure. Budgets will change in the 2nd season anyway depending on where you finish, but if you wanted you could just create a transfer embargo to the end of the first season if you wanted more realism for clubs.

Right, here we are:

http://www.filefront.com/17877336/Metal_Guitarist's 11.2 Update.xml

http://www.mediafire.com/?wc4elb1elgmgqm6

Anything I've missed, please post it no matter how obscure and I'll cram it all in for a full final release on Friday. Cheers guys.

I can't downloading those file. This is XML.What is that?? Why not dbc. file?

.dbc is the compressed version of .xml. Just select 'save' when you click the download button and place it in the editor data folder as normal. If it won't let you download, where it says 'clcik here if your file doesn't download' right click on the bit of text and choose 'save target as'. You should then be able to save the .xml file.

can i ask metal, what is the difference between your update and forbsies ?

thanks...

IMO Forbsies, as good as it is, doesnt go into as much detail as M_G's. Forbsies basically just players switched between teams. M_G does this but tries to update finances, squad numbers, data issues like kit colours being wrong and so on. Much more detailed. And not to forget the future transfers version which I cant wait to try out. Ive been hoping somebody would do this for years

@ohitstrue! -When you start a new game and the choose database window pops up, check the box near the bottom and hit the change button. Make sure the box next to my update is checked.

Over 600 downloads on the Filefront link alone in 19 hours, thanks a lot :D

i have done bro, i been getting your updates for ages! like i said, i know how to do this, but the changes aint showing ingame at all????

even when i go to the data editor there is nothing there...........torres is still at loserpool!

i got it from the other link as filefront just white screens me

edit....MG i sorted it, for some reason i had a smaller version of yours when 1st d/led it. works now, luv ya!

That's the McCallum guy isn't it? Went to add him in last night but I can't find a date of birth.

trying to download this, but everytime I try and start a new game it gets to the exact same point and says not responding and white screens :( tried it about 5 times now and it stops in the exact same place, any suggestions?

Redownload the update and make sure the full file downloads. If that doesn't work, reinstall FM11, download update from scratch and try that.

I'll see if it is the download, I've tried using less leagues etc but to no luck so far, fingers crossed because this is looking good and I really want to see what kind of challenge it is with Torquay after their sales last night!

Hey MG, I ahven't used any of your Updates in the past and i was wondering if the V6 has the Torres to Chelsea and Carroll at Liverpool, Or is it a Previous one and you are still working on these transfers and updates.

Thanks for your time,

Dave.

Austria - 11 teams in first div, should be 10

Belgium - 19 teams in Second League, should be 18

England - 23 teams in BS South, should be 22

Israel - 15 teams in A league, should be 16

Italy - Serie CA and B have issues with team numbers

There are also problems in Russia, Serbia and Turkey.

Anyone else getting this? It means I cant start with England or Italy loaded!
