hrbfcrule
Sorry for not updating these past few days but I have been very busy. Should have the end of season update done today and probably preseason as well Here's hoping you manage an away win AND a home win! Don't think it will make too much of a difference in terms of final league position though
hrbfcrule
November 2029 League: Helsingborg 0-2 Tord A very poor performance but we somehow won it. 2 2nd half goals from Peter Jansson (YP33) gave us the win to take his tally to 22 in 28. He will play no further part either as he later got injured. Also I go the news that both Tony Thoren (YP5) and Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) would retire at the end of the season so naturally I used the last game of the season as their send off. League: Tord 1-1 Kalmar FF Neither of them performed particularly well but neither made any glaring mistakes. Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) got himself injured in the 70th min, so not the greatest final match for him but oh well. Jonas Andersson (YP49) got our goal which was a late equaliser to Kalmar's opener. Tony Thoren (YP5) has agreed to stay on as a coach at the club but Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) is refusing any contract which is a shame.
crouchaldinho
I'm continually amazed by this save. If I tried something like this, I'd still be in the bottom division.

Taunton
I'm continually amazed by this save. If I tried something like this, I'd still be in the bottom division. Me too. I am so impressed of what hrbfcrule is doing. I hope everyone here acknowledges what a great achievement this is. I would like to do a save like this, but I don't have the patience. Looking forward to Tords first trophy. That would be amazing.
hrbfcrule
End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2029 League Table, League Graph Squad Again we came close to Europe but not close enough. We finished 5th which is still pretty good and our points total this season would normally have got us 3rd place and into Europe. Another positive thing to note is our fantastic home record this season, we were 1 of 2 teams to go unbeaten at home all season. Next season I am sure we will finally break into the top 3. Swedish Cup Should have got through really but lost out to lower league opposition after an epic penalty shootout. Youth Players (At the Club) Filip Linder (YP6) - Only played in the cup game where he didn't play too well. I think this was his penultimate season with us before he retires. Stefan Nilsson (YP13) - Just as impressive when he plays. However his fitness has meant he has had to sit out a few matches due to fatigue Anders Svensson (YP16) - Really struggles now so probably won't play too many more games. Jonas Andersson (YP27) - Had a very average season, no complaints but didn't have any outstanding moments. Bojan Ohlsson (YP29) - Played very well and played in every match bar one which was when Tony Thoren (YP5) took his place for his send off. Anton Dahlberg (YP30) - Had a decent season again, created a few scored a few. More of the same please. Simon Berisha (YP31) - One of 4 players who will see out their contract at the end of the season. Hada few chances but didn't impress suffiiciently to earn a new contract. Peter Jansson (YP33) - What can I say. Wow just wow. He smashed Fredrik Karlsson (YP8)'s record of 16 goals in a season. Getting a massive 22 in 28 as well as 8 MotM awards. Matthias Gustafsson (YP34) - He will also see out his contract at the end of the season, a shame as he looked like he was a great prospect a few years ago. Hakan Larsson (YP35) - Was the main creator of our goals, Peter Jansson (YP33) should be thankful. Jorgen Melki (YP37) - Didn't do as well as last season but nonetheless a fairly decent season. Niklas Svensson (YP38) - Conceding on average 1 a game is pretty good. Not as many clean sheets as last season though. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) - Played ok, is a squad player but I am hoping he can improve a bit more. Viktor Johansson (YP40) - He's going, has never really played up to his potential. Erik Carlsson (YP41) - Couldn't continue the form he had at the end of last season unfortunately. Will keep him around as he picked up a few goals and assists Martin Hansson (YP43) - Mostly came off the bench but wasn't hugely impressive. Joakim Dahlberg (YP44) - Still hasn't played a match but he will be here when I need him Magnus Kjellman (YP45) - A consolidating season, he played ok but I expect more of him in the future. Rasmus Svard (YP46) - Looking like he will become a reasonable back up player but nothing more at this rate. Hakan Neilsen (YP47) - Again he was one of the better players, managed to rack up a few assists as well. Fredrik Juhlin (YP48) - Another player leaving at the end of the season. Jonas Andersson (YP49) - I thought he played very well, 6 goals in 20 appearances is good especially as half of the appearances were from the bench. Erik Mansson (YP50) - Is well on his way to becoming a 1st team regular with another decent season. Martin Persson (YP51) - Only played in the cup match and he didn't play well. Roger Magnusson (YP52) - Only made a handful of appearances but he did do very well in them Retiring Players Tony Thoren (YP5) - Made 405 appearances scoring 14 goals. Was a rock in defence throughout his career and I am glad he has decided to stay on at the club as a coach. Career Stats Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) - A legend of the club, made exactly 400 appearances for Tord, 376 of them being in the league amassing 141 goals in his career. Will be sadly missed. AK22
Bad luck missing out on Europe again but I reckon when you finally get there it will start becoming a regular occurrence. You were only 13 points off the champions so that's encouraging too!

hrbfcrule
I'm continually amazed by this save. If I tried something like this, I'd still be in the bottom division. I'd be out of a job! I am sure you two could do a much better job than me. All you need is patience and to be good at tactics, I've only got patience unfortunately. Me too. I am so impressed of what hrbfcrule is doing. I hope everyone here acknowledges what a great achievement this is.I would like to do a save like this, but I don't have the patience. Looking forward to Tords first trophy. That would be amazing. Thanks, I think Tord's 1st major trophy is some way off yet although I hope I'm wrong Bad luck missing out on Europe again but I reckon when you finally get there it will start becoming a regular occurrence. You were only 13 points off the champions so that's encouraging too! Yer even though we were down a position on last season I felt we had improved a lot. Romanista1994
Good season last year, you've really become a regular top half side. The regular improvements in your youth facilities are also starting to show with the latest intakes producing some very good players. Have the training facilities been improved at all, however? Good luck in the coming season.

hrbfcrule
March 2030 League: Hammarby Fotboll 1-2 Tord Well we won our 1st game of the new decade and deservedly so. Hammarby took the lead in the 1st half against the run of play. The moment switched early in the 2nd half where, in a space of 4 mins, Erik Carlsson (YP41) equalised for us and then they had a man sent off. We kept pushing for the winner and Peter Jansson (YP33) eventually got it in the 80th min. League: Tord 3-2 Gefle It looked like we would cruise it as Jorgen Melki (YP37) gave us the lead in the 3rd min from a penalty. This was followed by a brace from Peter Jansson (YP33) to make it 3-0. However we had to make a meal of it by conceding twice in the last 15 mins and almost throwing away what seemed like a certain victory. League: Djurgarden 2-2 Tord Just like the Gefle match we started well, Jonas Andersson (YP49) scored twice in the opening half an hour but we threw away this lead by conceding twice in the 2nd half. In the end it was a fair result but I was just annoyed as we were in a great position to win it. Also to top it off Peter Jansson (YP33) got injured for 3-4 weeks in the 82nd min. hrbfcrule
April 2030 League: Tord 2-1 Helsingborg We got off to a terrible start by conceding in the 2nd min but eventually we got into our stride. Bojan Ohlsson (YP29) equalised for us just before half time before an own goal got us the win early in the 2nd half. League: Malmo FF 2-0 Tord 1st loss of the season, we got battered by the current Swedish champions and deserved the 2-0 loss. League: Tord 3-0 Elfsborg We bounced back incredibly well with a very clinical display. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) and Jonas Andersson (YP49) got on the scoresheet as well as an own goal to give us a 3-0 win despite only having 4 shots in the game. League: Vasteras SK 0-0 Tord From clinical to terrible. We just couldn't score for some reason, definately deserved to win and we had our chances but just couldn't take them. League: Tord 1-0 Syrianska FC Was expecting a much bigger win against one of the weaker teams in the division but i'll take any win. The goal came from Jorgen Melki (YP37) from the penalty spot in the 40th min.

hrbfcrule
May 2030 League: Kalmar FF 1-2 Tord The game was pretty terrible until the last 15 mins where it livened up considerably. Kalmar took the lead before Hakan Nielsen (YP47) and Jonas Andersson (YP27) scored for us. League: AIK 1-1 Tord AIK took the lead in the 1st half but Peter Jansson (YP33) hit back in the 2nd. Overall a fair result although we did a the better chances. League: Tord 0-0 IFK Goteborg The start of a tough run of games where we play 4 of the top 7 in the league and another in the cup. We were unlucky not to win ths one but Goteborg's defence held firm unfortunately. Still a point is acceptable. Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Malmo FF 3-0 Tord I put out a weakened team and was duly battered for it. Oh well there's always next year League: Tord 0-0 IK Sirius How IK Sirius didn't score i'll never know. They missed chance after chance as we somehow scraped a point. League: Tord 0-0 Mjallby Mjallby were the better team but only just. We are generally playing better against the top teams but we are not quite at the point where I am confident we can outplay them consistently. League: Syrianska Kerburan 2-2 Tord Really should have won this one but our run of consecutive league draws goes on. At least this time we scored. They took the lead before Niclas Carlsson (YP39) equalised for us before half time. Jonas Andersson (YP49) then gave us the lead but we were pegged back thanks to a dubious penalty decision. Also after almost every match I get the message " the hosts/visitors (whichever I am) have the right to feel hard done by as the ref favoured the visitors/hosts (whichever the oppositon is) with the majority of his decisions". I am not sure if this is a bug or I am just not getting the rub of the green at the moment. Euro U19 Championship Quals U19 2nd Qual Stage: Sweden U19's 1-2 Switzerland U19's A fairly even game but we lost out to a late goal. Switzerland took the lead but 3 mins later we levelled through Oscar Eriksson. As I went all out for the win Switzerland grabbed a winner in the 92nd min. U19 2nd Qual Stage: Albania U19's 1-3 Sweden U19's A fairly straightforward win even if we did go behind. Oscar Eriksson, Mats Svensson and Klas Jonsson got our goals to keep our very slim hopes of qualifying alive. U19 2nd Qual Stage: Holland U19s 1-1 Sweden U19's A tough game and it looked like it would be a long day when they scored in the 2nd min. However we weren't overawed by them and fought back. Martin Boman scored in the 53rd min to get us a well deserved draw. Now some boardroom stuff: The board agreed to a training facilities upgrade at the start of the season and I have just persuaded them to upgrade the youth facilities again

hrbfcrule
June 2030 League: Tord 3-1 Assyriska We got off to a slow start but recovered late in the 1st half. Assyriska's opener kicked us off and we started to play much better after going behind. Jorgen Melki (YP37) and Peter Jansson (YP33) scored in the 1st half to turn the game around. Jonas Andersson (YP27) finished things off with a 3rd in the 2nd half. July 2030 League: Tord 1-0 Hammarby Fotboll Looked to be heading a goalless draw but Jonas Andersson (YP49) netted the only goal of the game in the 87th min. hrbfcrule
August 2030 League: Tord 2-0 Djurgarden We start the month off with a good win. Peter Jansson (YP33) got the opener before an own goal right on half time made it 2-0. The only other major incident of the match was Jorgen Melki (YP37) getting sent off in the 93rd min. League: Gefle 0-0 Tord We were completely outplayed but somehow held on. Our away form still continues to be a problem. League: Helsingborg 0-0 Tord Same again, we seem to play alright in the 1st half but then completely collapse in the 2nd. Not quite sure what to do about it. League: Tord 0-0 Malmo FF God my fans must be bored by now as we complete a 3rd consecutive goalless draw. At least we played reasonably well in this one. Friendly: Sweden U19's 2-0 Switzerland U19's Disappointing result but decent performance. The luck just wasn't going our way as we lost to a much lower ranked opposition. League: Elfsborg 3-1 Tord Elfsborg inflicted our 2nd league defeat of the season on us thanks to 2 late goals. Jorgen Melki (YP37) gave us the lead in the 16th min but Elfsborg equalised 6 mins later. They then went on to score in the 88th and 92nd min to rob us of a point. League: Tord 1-0 Vasteras SK Not an entirely convincing home performance but we got the job done. Martin Persson (YP51) scored his 1st for the club midway through the 2nd half. Also a takeover could be on the way. Won't be too interesting though as it looks to be a takeover from within.

Thanks A few things have happened in early September: Firstly the takeover has been completed, obviously no extra money is to be put into the club: Also I am moving up in the world Internationally: Obviously I accepted. So I left the U19's after managing them for 36 games over 3.5 years with 15 wins and 9 draws

deadmeat21
you just need to be patient though. it's not that you'll rule the world or sweeden in just 1-2 years but i am sure that in some more you'll do that...!!!
