The Manager Auction

The top 50 managers of the world (according to Genie Scout), have been grouped in 3 tiers according to their CA.

The first tier has managers who have won World Cups, multiple leagues, Champions Leagues; all the shenanigans. There are 15 managers in this set. The base price is 20 million.

Tier 2 has 15 more managers, possible world-beaters, winners in their own rights, but not in the ‘Hall of fame’ yet. Maybe their time is now? The base price is 10 million.

Tier 3 has the next 20 managers of the world. These are very good managers, mostly managing in the top leagues of Europe or managing countries in the world cup. Will you give them an opportunity? Base price is 5 million.

Tier 4 players are the potential superstars of tomorrow. Young players who are highly talked up everywhere, and already have higher abilities than quite a few older ones in the higher tiers, even higher than Tier 1 in some cases. That's why they're priced slightly higher.

To quote an example: Patrick Vieira is in Tier 3 and Sergio Busquests in Tier 4. This is intended as a multi-season save (3 minimum), so would you bid 5 million for Vieira and have him retire at the end of the season, or bid for Busquets along with a Tier 1 player, and have Busquets really scorch the scene in some time. It's just another option that I wanted to provide, as some people might want to invest in youth with their 20 rated youth facilities. :D

Only the ones with really good differences between CA and PA are in that group. And of course, as owner of the team, you have full control, considering the financial implications, whether you want to buy them or not :)
