Blanc satisfied with the win.

The Gnomes manager Blanc stated that she was satisfied with the play and the 3 point gain today but she also mentioned her concerns about finishing the game in stress. "I'd have to say, up to 3-0, we were playing what we were supposed to from the start of the season but the remaining time see us fall back in terms of form and concentration. I'm happy to grab another crucial victory to move away from the bottom. Hopefully, we'll be able to sustain the form in the first 50 minutes in the next weeks to ensure a satisfying ending to the season. The stress was definitely getting to us when we conceded the second. But I have to admit, the red card gave us a breathing room to control the game." Gnome'ania United are now sitting at 40 points with 7 games to go and 7 points to the relegation spot.

Lester praises Wizard's spirit.

Welsh Wizards manager has praised his teams spirit following their surprise 2-1 victory over the Inland Valley Hawks which kept their European hopes alive.

During his interview with Sports TV, Lester had nothing but praise for his team who held onto to their one goal lead despite being a man down and being put under huge pressure by the high flying Hawks.

"I am very pleased with the performance we put in and we have shown just how good we can be on our day by beating a top team despite being a man down." said Lester "The team showed great spirit to keep up the pressure after Nemanja's sending off. The football may not have been pretty at times but a win's a win and it sends us closer to the European spots as well as giving us a confidence boost after a period of poor form."

Hmmm. Big match with Squirrels next. Question is this: will Zac be using more expletives or putting champagne on the ice after that?

PIVOTAL MOMENTS IN PREMIER LEAGUE AND CHAMPIONSHIP?

Only two things are certain in the Premier League right now with 7/8 games remaining: Sheffield Wednesday will be playing Championship football next season and everybody else hasn’t got a clue where they’ll be playing their football next season!

Everywhere you look in the Premier League this afternoon, there is a game with massive importance to the top, middle or the bottom of the league. And it is the same at the top of the Coca Cola Championship. SPORTS.tv is here to bring you all the action as it happens on this most important of days in this football season.

TITLE RIVALS MEET AT PENYGELLI ARENA!

The title race could take a huge twist one way or the other this afternoon as the out-of-sorts Coedpoeth United host the league leaders, New Bloc, with both sides desperate for a win. A New Bloc win would probably end Coedy dreams of a Premier League title this season as it would extend the Bloc’s lead over their opponents today to ten points. However, a Coedy win would see them move to within four points with a game in hand – and smack bang in the middle of the title race with 7 games remaining. A draw wouldn’t suit either but is possibly the favoured result of the other two title contenders, Inland Valley Hawks and Northern Extreme. The Hawks travel to face Gnome’ania United today aware that three points could close the gap to the leaders to just one point whilst a win for Northern Extreme – home to next to bottom Didsbury Dynamoes – would lift them to three points behind the leaders with a game in hand. Where will the advantage lie at 5pm this evening in the closest title race in years?

LIFE AT THE BOTTOM IS NEVER DULL EITHER!

With Sheffield Wednesday finally out of their misery, the next team in most immediate danger is the Didsbury Dynamoes – away at Extreme today – whose recent form has given them hope of the greatest escape since Harry Houdini. Every week, we seem to say that it’s do or die for the Dynamoes and this is the week of their game in hand – away at relegation rivals Isle of Man Metros in midweek – and what better way to go into that crucial game than with three points from a title contender? A win today could see them move to four points from safety and with many relegation rivals meeting today, a chance to close the gap completely.

Boreham Badgers morale boosting 4-1 win over Essendon in midweek means that they are now behind 17th placed Tibbolini on goal difference and a point behind Saffron United who they face at the Muddy Field today. A win would therefore guarantee a jump out of the drop zone. Tibbolini face a trip to Essex Eagles and will be looking to pick up at least a point on the road whilst two side three points above the drop zone meet at the Brennan Arena as Brennan United and Blackthorn Athletic meet in a relegation six-pointer. Gnome’ania United are pulling away but a win over title contenders, Inland Valley, would probably see them secure their Premier League place for next season. Isle of Man Metros new manager, Louis Van Gaal, faces his first home game as Essendon visit with the new man looking for three points to distance the Metros from those below.

EUROPE BECKONING!

Big game at Ankh-Morpork as Discworld meet Queensland Origin. The Disks need a win to jostle for position in a tight race for the Europa League places whilst Origin – looking good for a place in the Europa League at least already – still have an eye on catching teams above them as they aim to snatch a Champions League spot late in the season. Essex Eagles (home to Tibbolini), Essendon (away at Isle of Man) and Welsh Wizards and Steel Panthers (meeting at the White Rock Stadium) all need points for Europe places as well. London Titans are already guaranteed a Europa League place after winning the League Cup so they have less to play for and have only an outside shot at a Champions League place: they face already doomed Sheffield Wednesday at home.

FANGHUNTERS PROMOTION? MELBOURNE TO EDGE CLOSE?

Two chances for Fanghunters to secure promotion to the Premier League this afternoon: a win at Bloomfield Road against Blackpool would guarantee promotion but, failing that, a win for Melbourne at the Canadian Mighty Squirrels would also ensure the Fangies place in the Premier League next season.

However, that will be of little concern to the Demons of Melbourne as they travel to the Land of the Chestnuts. They are desperate for a win – or not to lose - to keep a substantial gap between them and the Squirrels in the automatic promotion race. With five points the gap, a win for the Squirrels – written off a few weeks back and on a great run of form – would see the gap down to two points ahead of the Easter Monday fixtures. A win for Melbourne would put them in touching distance of the Premier League. A massive match at the Land of the Chestnuts!

Joga Bonitos Juniors need a point to secure a Play Off place this afternoon but will want a win to keep alive their very slim hopes of automatic promotion as well when they host Preston North End today. And VfB Rammstein can also secure a Play Off spot with a win at home over Cardiff City.

SPORTS.tv is live at all the main grounds today with the two biggest games – Coedpoeth United and New Bloc in the Premier League, Squirrels against Melbourne in the Championship – featuring heavily. Stay tuned for all the action!

FIRST HALF ACTION IS ON THE WAY ...

Welcome back to SPORTS.tv Soccer Saturday.

Games across the country are getting underway now and what a massive evening it is in the Premier League and Coca Cola Championship, every goal is likely to be crucial to the fortunes of one team or another ... And speaking of huge goals, we have a huge goal already at the Muddy Field.

PL: Boreham Badgers vs. Saffron United

Relegation six pointer at the Muddy Field as 18th placed Boreham Badgers and 16th placed Saffron United meet. Badgers know that a win takes them above the Sharks so the first goal is vital. Which way has it gone? It’s a first minute goal for ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO and the Boreham Badgers have an invaluable lead early on. 1-0 Badgers.

Goal now at the Terra Firma in the Coca Cola Championship.

CCC: Joga Bonitos Juniors vs. Preston North End

Early goal here for the Joga Juniors and their fans as they look for a Play Off spot secured. Nigerian JOHN UTAKA has scored the goal after just two minutes. 1-0 Jogas.

That would be enough for the Joga Juniors to seal a Play Off spot – they need a point – as well as keeping some pressure on those above them. A third goal of the afternoon now and it’s more good news for Boreham Badgers’ fans at the Eagle Arena.

PL: Essex Eagles vs. Tibbolini

As it stands, Tibbolini are sliding into the drop zone this evening after an early goal for Europa League hopefuls, Essex Eagles. Young midfielder, ANDERSON, has scored it for the Eagles after 3 minutes. 1-0 to the Eagles.

Penalty at the Metronome in Louis Van Gaal’s first home game in charge of the Isle of Man Metros.

PL: Isle of Man Metros vs. Essendon

Bad start for the Dutchman as FA Cup Semi Finalists Essendon have an early penalty. It’s going to be left sided player, Julian Gray, he steps up for Essendon. And he scores! JULIAN GRAY gives Essendon the lead, 1-0.

Five minutes gone in most games and goals already flying in. News of two more trickling in and two more huge goals. We’ll be back to the Muddy Field in a moment but first to the massive, massive match in the Coca Cola Championship – breakthrough at the Land of the Chestnuts!

CCC: Canadian Mighty Squirrels vs. Melbourne

And it is first blood for second placed Melbourne as they take what could be a giant step towards promotion to the Premier League. Spanish midfielder, MAXI RODRIGUEZ, has scored the goal and if it stays like this, Melbourne will be going eight points clear in the final automatic promotion place as well as confirming Fanghunters’ place in the Premier League as well. 1-0 Melbourne.

And back to the Muddy Field, a second goal there. But who has got it?

PL: Boreham Badgers vs. Saffron United

It’s a dream start for the Boreham Badgers as they score their second goal of the game after just five minutes here at the Muddy Field. Experienced French midfielder, PATRICK VIEIRA, has got this one and Boreham Badgers are looking comfortable at 2-0.

Back to the Coca Cola Championship now and the Stadion des Groben where VfB Rammstein need a win to secure a Play Off place at the end of the season. First goal there.

VfB Rammstein vs. Cardiff City

Goal from TIM CAHILL has given the Ramms the lead here as they look to seal a Play Off place. First goal of the game, 1-0 to VfB Rammstein.

WELCOME BACK TO THE FIRST HALF ACTION ...

In the Premier League, it’s been a good start for the Europa League challengers Essex Eagles and Essendon who lead 1-0 over relegation threatened Tibbolini and Isle of Man Metros respectively. Disaster for Saffron United but elation for Boreham Badgers with the Badger 2-0 up after just 5 minutes with the Badgers moving out of the drop zone and above the Sharks. Joga Bonitos Juniors lead 1-0 over Preston in the Coca Cola Championship but the big news there is the 1-0 lead that Melbourne have over Canadian Mighty Squirrels that could see them move 8 points clear in the second automatic promotion place as well as confirming promotion for Fanghunters.

However, there has been a second goal at the Land of the Chestnuts. This could be huge ...

CCC: Canadian Mighty Squirrels vs. Melbourne

Equaliser for the Mighty Squirrels and the home fans here are absolutely delirious! It was a low cross into the area from the right and turned home from close range by FRAZIER CAMPBELL to level the game at 1-1. Hang on, another chance here now, it’s Joe Cole through on goal .... JOE COLE scores! 2-1 to the Mighty Squirrels! 2 goals in 3 minutes! Complete turnaround! Joe Cole put the Squirrels 2-1 up and the gap could now be closing to just 2 points this afternoon!

Amazing stuff at the Land of the Chestnuts. What an exciting game is in prospect there now! Goal at Aurora Park.

PL: Northern Extreme vs. Didsbury Dynamoes

Northern Extreme’s title bid has just taken a severe hit but Didsbury Dynamoes are in dreamland as their survival hopes improve considerably. Swedish striker ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has scored the goal and it could see the Dynamoes closing to within a game of their rivals above them. Dynamoes lead 1-0 after 23 minutes.

What an important goal that could turn out to be at the foot of the Premier League. And now ... A massive goal in a massive game at Penygelli Arena. Who has got it?

PL: Coedpoeth United vs. New Bloc

In a game they cannot afford to lose, Coedpoeth United ... lead 1-0 after 23 minutes! Midfielder LUCHO GONZALEZ’ stunning free kick has given them the lead in a tight game so far but Coedy have the goal that they desperately wanted. Can they hold onto it?

And now a goal at Bloomfield Road. Is it looking like party time at the seaside for the Fanghunters?

CCC: Blackpool vs. Fanghunters

It certainly is looking that way and it’s no surprise that one of the holy trinity of Ronaldo, Gerrard and Kaka has scored the crucial first goal for them. It’s the Portuguese winger who has this one, CRISTIANO RONALDO giving the Fangies a 28th minute lead and now they are surely about to book their Premier League place for next season.

Half an hour gone in the games and we have some very, very interesting situations developing now. Stay tuned after the break for the rest of the first half.

HEADING TOWARDS HALF TIME NOW ...

Welcome back to SPORTS.tv with half an hour played in the first half of this crucial weekend in the Top2Bottom League. Where is the next goal going to come from? It’s a goal at the White Rock Stadium in the battle for the Europa League places.

PL: Welsh Wizards vs. Steel Panthers

Goal scored here on 32 minutes and it’s gone the way of the Brazilian striker, VAGNER LOVE. He strikes first blood for the Welsh Wizards here, 1-0 Wizards.

And now a goal at the Nike Arena.

PL: London Titans vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Finally, the London Titans have made the breakthrough against already relegated Wednesday. It’s taken 33 minutes but DIEGO FORLAN has got the goal that gives the Carling Cup winners the lead heading towards half time here. 1-0 Titans.

Another goal at Aurora Park, have the Dynamoes done the unthinkable?

PL: Northern Extreme vs. Didsbury Dynamoes

No, they haven’t and it is a deserved equaliser for the title challengers who now look to get the win they need again after a brief scare. Left back WAYNE BRIDGE has got the leveller for Extreme, it’s 1-1 here.

One promotion party was getting started at the seaside ... But the champagne is going back on the ice for now.

CCC: Blackpool vs. Fanghunters

Equaliser for the Seasiders who look intent on being party poopers here. Cristiano Ronaldo’s early goal is cancelled out by DARREN BENT who brings Blackpool level. As it stands here and at the Land of the Chestnuts, Fanghunters are not there yet. 1-1.

Vital goal at the Eagle Arena!

PL: Essex Eagles vs. Tibbolini

Equaliser for Tibbolini and it means that – as it stands – Saffron United are dropping into the bottom three tonight. Italian attacking midfielder FABIO QUAGLIARELLA has scored the goal for the Mad Hatters and they are now level with the Eagles. 1-1.

Another equaliser, this time at the Metronome.

PL: Isle of Man Metros vs. Essendon

Better news for new boss, Louis Van Gaal, as his side level the game in his first home game in charge. Julian Gray’s early penalty for Essendon is cancelled out by SUNLI TUNCAY on 38 minutes. Metros 1-1 Essendon.

Goals flying in everywhere and now another penalty. Back to the Stadion des Groben.

CCC: VfB Rammstein vs. Cardiff City

The Ramms need a win to secure a Play Off place and now have a penalty to go 2-0 up and probably seal it. It’s going to be Zlatan Grygera to take it. He steps up ... And scores! ZLATAN GRYGERA makes it 2-0 to the Ramms and their spot in the Play Offs looks secure now.

Into the last five minutes before half time in most games now. And we have a first goal of the day now at the Arcane Arena.

PL: Gnome’ania United vs. Inland Valley Hawks

And what a big goal this could turn out to be for the Hawks. With half an ear on the proceedings at Penygelli Arena, the Hawks know that a win could launch them right into contention for top spot in the coming weeks and the tension has been detectable. However, they have found a way through the Gnomes’ defence now and it is French striker KARIM BENZEMA who has done it. 1-0 to the Hawks.

Back to the White Rock Stadium, news of a red card.

PL: Welsh Wizards vs. Steel Panthers

1-0 to the Welsh Wizards but they face a struggle to keep that lead now after a red card to midfielder JOHN OBI MIKEL. In a game of this importance for Europa League qualification, his manager may not be impressed with the discipline of his Nigerian midfielder. Still 1-0 to the Wizards.

Half time whistles blowing all around, let’s take a classified check.

WELCOME BACK FOR THE SECOND HALF!

It promises to be a tense and entertaining second half in the Premier League and the Coca Cola Championship. SPORTS.tv has all the action exclusive!

Two minutes played in the second half and another goal at the Penygelli Arena. Are the league leaders level? Or have Coedy doubled their lead?

PL: Coedpoeth United vs. New Bloc

Wonderful start to the second half and a second goal of the game – and it’s gone to the home side again as well. CESC FABREGAS has scored for the challengers and the league leaders are really rocking now. They need a massive turnaround here to stop the title race closing up again. 2-0 Coedy.

And what hope that will give not just to Coedpoeth United but Inland Valley Hawks – 1-0 up at Gnome’ania United – and Northern Extreme – 1-1 at home to Didsbury Dynamoes – as well. Another goal in the Coca Cola Championship and this is massive news.

CCC: Blackpool vs. Fanghunters

Champagne is not just back on ice, it is back away in the fridges! A real upset on the cards here at Bloomfield Road as the pressure gets to the Fanghunters! DARREN BENT has put the lowly home side 2-1 up against the league leaders now!

Over to Terra Firma, also in the Coca Cola Championship. Joga Juniors were 1-0 up – and securing a Play Off place - last time we visited.

CCC: Joga Bonitos Juniors vs. Preston North End

Disaster for the promotion challengers! Two goals in two minutes and it’s all change! First, ADRIAN levelled for North End from the spot and then experienced Portuguese striker NUNO GOMES added a second for the Lilywhites. North-West sides causing a real problem this afternoon for the Championship big names!

And another goal in the Championship and another massive, massive goal at the Land of the Chestnuts!

CCC: Canadian Mighty Squirrels vs. Melbourne

Melbourne have equalised here at the Land of the Chestnuts and a deathly silence has fallen over the capacity crowd except for a small pocket of Demons fans in the corner. It’s Brazilian flair player RONALDINHO who has struck on 53 minutes and Melbourne now have a 2-2 scoreline that they would probably have took before the game.

Another goal at the White Rock Stadium.

PL: Welsh Wizards vs. Steel Panthers

Ten-man Welsh Wizards have doubled their advantage here against the Panthers and are taking a massive stride towards next season’s Europa League places. ANDREY ARSHAVIN has scored the goal and now the Panthers have it all to do. 2-0 to the Wizards.

Back to the seaside at Blackpool ...

CCC: Blackpool vs. Fanghunters

If they are to be promoted today, they’ll certainly do it the hard way but there is fresh hope for the 4000 Fangies fans here at Bloomfield Road as their side have levelled the game at 2-2 now. JUAN MANUEL VARGAS has got the goal and another one would see them promoted although the result at the Land of the Chestnuts at the moment right now is also good enough for a Fangies promotion! 2-2.

And a vital third goal at the Penygelli Arena. Are New Bloc back in it? Or is it all over?

PL: Coedpoeth United vs. New Bloc

It’s all over! Brazilian defender GEROMEL is taking the plaudits from his Coedpoeth United team-mates and their ecstatic fans as his header makes it 3-0 to Coedy and seals a gut-wrenching defeat for New Bloc surely now.

An hour gone around the country, join us after the break!

PL: Brennan United vs. Blackthorn Athletic

Have the Rose Bushes scored the goal that sends them clear of the drop zone and plunged their opponents into the relegation mess? They certainly may have done! MARIO GOMEZ, German internation, puts Blackthorn in front with 28 minutes remaining. Can Brennan United respond?

So it’s just Discworld and Queensland Origin still at 0-0. Where next? Back to the Arcane Arena.

PL: Gnome’ania United vs. Inland Valley Hawks

It is definitely now time to take the Inland Valley Hawks seriously as title contenders! A second goal for the Hawks and a second goal from KARIM BENZEMA means that they lead 2-0 on the day that leaders New Bloc are 3-0 down at Coedpoeth United. 2-0 Hawks.

Back to the Coca Cola Championship and the Stadion des Groben.

CCC: VfB Rammstein vs. Cardiff City

A slight problem for the home side who lead 2-0 but have just been reduced to ten men after WILFRED BOUMA was sent off. 18 minutes to go, 2-0 to VfB.

It’s all gone a little quiet on the goalscoring and the tension is unbelievable all over the place. Another goal at Penygelli Arena!

PL: Coedpoeth United vs. New Bloc

What a disastrous day this is for the Premier League leaders but what a superb day for their title rivals! Particularly Coedpoeth United who are now 4-0 in front thanks to a goal from ROQUE SANTA CRUZ. A crushing defeat here for the Bloc, how will they respond to this?

Goals in the Championship. Terra Firma in a moment but first to Bloomfield Road. 3-2 but who to?

CCC: Blackpool vs. Fanghunters

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Remember the name – BEN BURGESS. The man who maybe denied Fanghunters a Premier League place! Unlikely but maybe so today as he has put Blackpool back in front here. 3-2 to Blackpool and although they’re still going up because of other results this is not the way the Fanghunters would be wanting to do it!

Terra Firma ...

CCC: Joga Bonitos Juniors vs. Preston North End

Play Off place looking more likely now – Joga Juniors are level at 2-2. GONZALO HIGUAIN has levelled for them and with 14 minutes left, that should be it now ... shouldn’t it?

Nike Arena, second goal there.

PL: London Titans vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Second goal for the London Titans and that should be three points guaranteed now. RAUL with the second to make it 2-0 to Titans.

Goal at the White Rock Stadium and nervous times for the Wizards now ...

PL: Welsh Wizards vs. Steel Panthers

Nervous times indeed, eleven minutes of them in fact. The ten men have finally cracked and Steel Panthers are back in the game at 2-1 thanks to a strike from DIDIER DROGBA. 2-1 Wizards.

Ten minutes remaining. It’s make or break time now! Goal at the Eagle Arena. Which way has it gone?

PL: Essex Eagles vs. Tibbolini

Disaster for ... Tibbolini! Home side Essex Eagles have plunged the Mad Hatters back into the bottom three – as it stands – with a second goal and it’s gone the way of JO on 80 minutes. 2-1 Eagles.

Is that the boost that other sides at the bottom need to hang on or strike late? It might be – goal at the Brennan Arena!

PL: Brennan United vs. Blackthorn Athletic

Certainly could be the case – it has inspired one team to score here. And it’s all-level again thanks to a strike from Brennan United’s MICHAEL CARRICK with 7 minutes remaining. Heartbreak for the Rose Bushes and the Red Rebels fans’ are roaring their team on now.

Another massive goal in the relegation scrap – and in the title race. Aurora Park!

PL: Northern Extreme vs. Didsbury Dynamoes

Amazing, amazing news! The survival dream of Didsbury Dynamoes is very much alive and well thanks to ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC’ second goal of the game! However, Northern Extreme’s title hopes are fading fast now. 6 minutes to go, 2-1 Dynamoes!

Back to the Brennan Arena!

PL: Brennan United vs. Blackthorn Athletic

What an amazing turnaround here! LIEDSON has scored and put Brennan United in front just 3 minutes after their equaliser! Devestation for Blackthorn who go from the brink of safety to the edge of the relegation zone again but the Red Rebels looking like they’re close to safety now – if they hang on! 4 minutes left, 2-1 to Brennan United!

Massive, massive, massive goal in the race for automatic promotion. It must be a winning goal at the Land of the Chestnuts but who has got it?

CCC: Canadian Mighty Squirrels vs. Melbourne

Ladies and Gentlemen, the promotion race is well and truly ON! Surely the winning goal and a closure of the gap to just two points – MASSIMO AMBROSINI has put the Squirrels in front here and the Demons now looked shell-shocked! It looks like Game On in the promotion race! 3-2 Squirrels!

And that means that Fanghunters need to win their game to seal promotion – and they’re still losing 3-2 at Blackpool. It doesn’t look good for the Fangies’ hopes now. Injury time ... Will there be another goal anywhere? Full time whistles are starting to sound.

Goal! Goal in the one goalless game! In injury time at Ankh-Morpork! Who’s got it?

PL: Discworld vs. Queensland Origin

Full time whistle has gone here at Ankh Morpork after a late, late goal sent the majority of the fans home unhappy. A major goal in the hopes of Queensland Origin for the Champions League – particularly with the news from Aurora Park about Northern Extreme losing – and they win 1-0 thanks to a goal from MARTIN PETROV.

That’s it! Full time all around. Classified check!

FULL TIME RESULTS

PREMIER LEAGUE

Boreham Badgers 2-0 Saffron United

Brennan United 2-1 Blackthorn Athletic

Coedpoeth United 4-0 New Bloc

Discworld 0-1 Queensland Origin

Essex Eagles 2-1 Tibbolini

Gnome’ania United 0-2 Inland Valley Hawks

Isle of Man Metros 1-1 Essendon

London Titans 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Northern Extreme 1-2 Didsbury Dynamoes

Welsh Wizards 2-1 Steel Panthers

New Bloc are pegged back at the top of the league by Inland Valley Hawks and Coedpoeth United whilst Northern Extreme’s home defeat means they miss out on a great chance to close the gap as well. Queensland Origin are still in with a chance of a Champions League place whilst Essex Eagles, Essendon, London Titans and Welsh Wizards strengthened their Europa League claims with good results. However, Steel Panthers’ loss could cost them. At the bottom, Isle of Man Metros will be disappointed not to win at home and move clear whilst sorry Sheffield Wednesday lose again. Two wins in a week mean that Boreham Badgers are out of the drop zone with Tibbolini falling into 18th and Saffron United dropping to the brink as well. Gnome’ania United are also still not safe after defeat but Brennan United moved clear with a win over Blackthorn Athletic who still look nervously behind them. And finally, Didsbury Dynamoes can still dream heading into a midweek game in hand that could see them move to within a point of Tibbolini and 18th. League table to come after midweek Premier League report.

COCA COLA CHAMPIONSHIP

Blackpool 3-2 Fanghunters

Canadian Mighty Squirrels 3-2 Melbourne

Joga Bonitos Juniors 2-2 Preston North End

VfB Rammstein 2-0 Cardiff City

Fanghunters miss out on promotion after they fail to win and Canadian Mighty Squirrels do win so the Fangies’ promotion party will have to wait until Easter Monday at least. The Squirrels win was massive as they closed to just two points behind second placed Melbourne and Easter Monday could see the Squirrels into the top two with three to play if results go their way. Melbourne will be disappointed and need a good result against Derby County on Monday. Joga Bonitos’ draw with Preston and VfB Rammstein’s win over Cardiff secure their Play Off places for the end of the season and keep their slim automatic promotion chances alive. League table to follow the Easter Monday games in the Championship.
