Makoto Nakamura Posted April 17, 2020 Share Posted April 17, 2020 I'm really struggling with FM20 and how there's still so many bugs but I don't want to go back to an older FM because there's now the Conference League which is a very interesting competition to be a part of, so here's what I'm doing, I'm going to the dark side. FM Touch. I'm loading just England down to the Vanarama North/South and I have remove league restrictions unticked so I will have just England loaded for the entirety of the save and I can't add or remove any leagues, this also makes the save file a bit smaller to start (30mb when ticked, 17mb when unticked.) Next I'm going to holiday a season and take over one of the recently promoted clubs into the Vanarama North/ South, because the file is so small I spent most of yesterday evening holidaying to get save files of some small-ish clubs. Since FMT has the issue of smaller youth intakes to keep the player database down I predict that I'll have quite a few sackings hence why I've chosen to have a few save files ready to go. (If I get any even lower club reputations come up during the save then I'll make save files for those as well.) The clubs I have saves for at the moment are; Met. Police, King's Langley, Grantham, Bamber Bridge, Royston, Needham Market, Barwell, Tiverton, Leiston & Harrow. Of these I'll be starting with the most difficult club with the lowest rep which is Leiston at 1800. This is the first team squad, with one real player who refuses to sign a new contract. We've now played over half of our matches and we're doing well, points wise we're right in the middle of the table, 7 points from the relegation zone and 7 points from the playoffs, the aim for the first decade or so will just to not be relegated. I don't know, I had one intake before the league reset and one after, it'll be something I obviously keep a close eye on. How have you been doing with the challenges? Going out to Walsall that were 2nd in League One at the time so one of the hardest teams we could face and that run helped our finances for the time being.
