Minuy600
So, here we go. After reading through a lot of @Makoto Nakamura's career modes, i've been inspired to do one with a pretty ridiculus aim as well. Mine is to win every top tier league, cup, you name it, PLUS the Champions League with every country from best to worst, and last but not least, at least gain promotion from the lowest tier to the highest, if not win the division. I'm not going to be using @claassen's database here because A. My laptop ain't good enough to handle all of that, and B. It'd be much too long. The CWC and lower tier cups are fun but not neccesarily something I aim for, besides the first of those just the one time so I can add it to my trophy cabinet. I'll be taking my time here, not gonna be stressing, just relaxed weekly updates. Grab a drink and some popcorn, we'll be here a while... The country i'm starting in SHOULD be obvious, but here it is anyway: For now i'll only load the leagues there, but as soon as i'm close to completing the challenge here i'll open up whichever country's top division is 2nd on terms of reputation. I'll not start without a job, just gotta pick a suitable one from the Segunda B. I'll put out some detail next post.
Makoto Nakamura
Best of luck with this! I'll be following Are you also planning on winning the Club World Cup?
Minuy600
Thanks! And yep, not sure i'll be doing it with every country or just a single one though.
Minuy600
C.D. Eldense. A club I never ever heard of up untill last season, where they made the Dutch paper by being humiliated by Barcelona B. 12-0 the score, the Dutch player there almost instantly left the club because he knew they were matchfixing. Needless to say, they finished bottom and got relegated out of the Segunda B. Luckily, as this is FM17, they're still there. And I gotta clean the mess up. Manager: I totally am creative. Club: Nothing too fancy although they did win some prizes before. Good on 'em. Squad: Not even terrible, but i'm overspending on terms of wages, so i'll have to rid a lot of players and hope to catch money for it. Just the one goalkeeper in Zanier too, and he isn't too great. Most lads with less than 3 stars of potential will be transfer listed or released when it looks like I can't sell them just yet, except for the dude in goal of course. The Dutch guy is pretty decent. Second best at the club. I hope to not get relegated and get us into a slightly better financial situation. That's simply my goal. Success comes later. Minuy600
Most definetly acceptable against a Liga II Ledman side. That competition is quite a bit better than ours and I believe Coimbra played in the Premiera Liga quite recently.

Thanks lad! Yeah, because there was a Dutch player at the club they decided to give it some attention over here, and as there isn't any other foreign players outside of Portugal (I think) it wouldn't be entirely logical to give attention to a relatively unknown club in the Spanish 3rd tier elsewhere. Anywho. First signing of the season! Even though the fans may not entirely like him, 900 Euros a month for a 19 year old with 3 and a half stars potential who's already better than Zanier is great imo. I can now freely release the last in the pecking order.
Minuy600
Slightly concerned about the lack of goals but c'mon that was a worldy performance against the eventual number 12 of the Liga NOS. One friendly left to go against Trecera Division side Yeclano.
Minuy600
I should probably take everyone off the transfer list and offer cheaper contracts before listing them again.
Minuy600
Can't say i'm super duper impressed but a win is a win, and Grbovic has been looking pretty solid in his first two matches. Next up, the season start.
Minuy600
Alright does anyone know a quick way to rid players? I'm kinda sick that even though we accept every price nobody ever cares, and terminating contracts is impossible to do because we're way in the debt. Minuy600
Okay so we DID have another friendly. 20 shots, just the one goal, while Benidorm had a 1/2 success rate. Sigh.

Minuy600
Snapped up an interesting lad for a low price. Suprisingly I got some extra transfer budget and I used that to spend less than that I have, plus some extra breathing space. He'll be an useful utility player, especially in the midfield, where Hans Mulder can move out wide.
deltablue
Better than losing 12-
Minuy600
Oh yeah absolutely. But this was the home match for Eldense, there's still the return I also forgot to mention the club had 15 points in total last season. We're already 1/5th there.
Minuy600
Unfortunately peanut butter, we couldn't get it done and got the exact opposite kind of match as we had against the young Barcelonians, concdeing late while we had more chances. Oh well, these performances are confidence-boosting either way, it's not like we were totally blown away. Salvador Martinez did pretty well as a replacement for Grbovic who was out doing international matches with Serbia -21, too. He has some potential so maybe he could be a suprise package at just 17 years of age. From now on i'll make weekly overviews by the way, continually posting small updates might be a bit too tedious. Minuy600
2016 - Week 36 Lost for words. Tabala has scored all four of our goals thus far after being assisted twice by returnee Alcantara and Jose Sanchez, who I was actually looking to sell because he's not in a position I use (defensive midfielder). Are we actually gonna stay up in the first season of asking? I do have to say, Barcelona B aren't exactly the second divisionist from this season, they're bottom without any points after losing thrice with just one goal differing the teams. This win over what was the 4th placed Valencia B team is excellent without a doubt though, so maybe we only need to look into the financial situation and not the sportive one. Minuy600
2016 - Week 37 Didn't know this could happen. This is both positive and negative, we get a little less money for this match but we might get more fans and thus, money in the long run. Never seen a pitch this square either. But that square pitch did prove useful for Lleida. Seems like they have gotten Tabala's cousin. Ah dang now I see I had more shots on target. Sods. Eh, not too bad for a match between 9th and 10th. Moving up another place up the order is always good.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 38 Like, i'm not complaining because it's not really looking like we're gonna get relegated any time soon, but we should've finished those chances and maybe we would've been right in the mix for the playoffs. There's still 32 matches left but they're slightly starting to escape up there. Not like Sabadell is doing exceptionally well but I can't complain. Within reach of the playoffs again. Minuy600
2016 - Week 39 One point seperates us from a playoff spot now.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 40 Oh dear... Lucky he's not even close to my first team. That must really suck for him, jeez. There's the typical bottle. Still not too far off but we should be wary to not fall too far back, although i'm already glad to be way outside of relegation trouble and almost exceeded the IRL points tally. Fun fact, we both had a Samu in the striker position. That's the first appearance of my Samu, and it wasn't anything to write home about, as opposed to the other one. Minuy600
2016 - Week 41 I never usually mention the U19s but they literally always get either this result or a small loss against teams that aren't like leagues above them in terms of quality. Guess we'll just settle a little outside of the good stuff then. I do think it's possible to get within with just a single win though, we'll see next week.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 42 Must be sucky to be a Sabadell fan. It's the only team in the drop zone that is not a reserve team, while Barcelona B and Valencia Mestalla are just barely outside of it. First two sackings of the save, nothing of interest though. Well they weren't as bad as their name suggests. We moved up in the standings though???? Grbovic and Carbonell had extreme offdays, that's for sure.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 43 Ay caramba. Right back into the trouble. At least it was against a top team, not some rando reserve one.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 44 YIkes. That IS a big blow. We have Juanjo Garcia as replacement but he isn't the greatest like at all. Maybe Franco Leon slots into this position too. We're in big trouble now as we had to improvise the squad after those injuries and suspensions. Lucky it was against the number 2 but we desperatly need to step up our game.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 45 Maybe I should've listened to my assistent earlier. Much better performance. We must win or draw next or else we might be into the relegation zone though.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 46 I could still enter the relegation zone, but hey, our confidence is slowly growing again and the win is good for the team. Hope we can continue on like at the start of the season. Big thanks to the assistent for helping out on the tactics. Next sacking is the second to last team from the Segunda B2. 2 points into the safe zone apparently. Not too terrible but that win was absolutely crucial.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 47 Didn't get a screencap of it, but I requested the board to cut back on the costs of youth recruitment and stuff like that, but they rejected because they think the finances are stable enough. Yeah uh... About that... Not even having enough money to terminate contracts and save money is surely stable... This is starting to get hilarious. The absolute minimalists. Three more sackings. I actually kinda wish I could change club just for the better finances, but i'm enjoying this so I guess we'll be waiting untill at the very least next season. Just not good enough. We couldn't finish off chances tight enough to outclass the backmarkers of the bunch. Franco León had a torrid first start for us sadly. He's okay as a substitute but this chance to show himself off didn't go too well, causing a penalty.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 48 Woah! That's a biggie. 16th place is nowhere near where Sevilla should be though, so it makes sense. Not pictured because I don't wanna: The sacking of the Coruxo FC manager, and apparently Girona's too. What I find weird about Girona in this game is just how weak they are compared to IRL. They always seem to be in relegation scraps. Okay, the finances kinda bettered last month, hope that keeps up so that we could eventually make profit. Is this some kind of parallel universe? The U19s finally won after 17(!) matches and Franco Leon was the player of the match. Surely I must be dreaming right? Managed to snatch victory after a wildly boring match that saw no highlights untill the 87th minute The key here was just to park the bus by all means neccesary and that is exactly what we did. We have a buffer to the relegation zone again! First sacking in our division. From now on i'll just stick with sackings from La Liga and my division because do we really care about something like Coruxo untill I may be seeking a different club? Nah. Minuy600
2016 - Week 49 Huh, well, three sackings in just a single day in my division. That's pretty cool. I'm tempted to apply for the Hercules job, but again, wanna finish off the season here first. Bielsa is back is buisness after a year off. Not very relevant to us, but that was a hell of a 5 minutes by Barca there Dissapointed to concede two very late goals but we're very clearly showing better performances.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 50 Next up on the sackings list was Granada's manager. I'm suprised by that one because they're only 2 points behind safety, which isn't bad considering how terribly they did last season IRL. Beleares really dropped off after they had a solid start to the season. They're now the only club below us that aren't in danger of relegation, which is pretty bad, i'd say. That's what you get for complaining about the lack of opportunities you've been given. (I do need him just in case though) FFS. The red card made them way better when they shouldn't have been. This was a pretty important match too, i'm quite gutted. We're now halfway through and the winter break has begun. We can't afford another loss next time out before at least getting a buffer of 4 points again like just before this terrible day in the office. And here's the other leagues just before the halfway point. Last place in La Liga 123 goes to Tarragona with 15 points. If you're wondering why Alaves is in blue, it's because I applied for them to become a senior affiliate. It'd help our finances massively and maybe we can loan some B team prospects. The other option was Huesca who wouldn't give us any money. Stingy.
Minuy600
UPDATE: I'll no longer be trying to win literally everything as it'd only cause frustation when I get promoted without being champion, and the lower league cups being the cups that they are, I need to take steps back while I maybe want to move on. Now i'll just focus on getting the league title, top tier cups (so FA Cup and Carabao Cup in England for example) and the Champions League, along with getting promoted through the lower leagues without needing the title per say. That's already quite a lot, but this is much more possible. Please understand.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 51 Hierro left Oviedo after half a season to take over Granada in La Liga, which is kinda baffling.
Minuy600
2016 - Week 52 (also first day into 2017) Not bad at all against the number 1 of the Segunda B4. We'll definetly stay in if we put in performances like this the rest of the time. Fantastic start of the last year in the past, gee... We're in negotiations with a new midfielder though, luckily. Into the transfer window we go! Elsewhere... Some awards Phew! No Ronaldo other than a sub appearance in the TOTY. Champions League More suprises than in the IRL Champions League, with Villareal and PSV clearly being the standout performers. PSV won in a group with Atletico and Leicester, that's mighty impressive. VIllareal (now 10th in La Liga) also did well to win everything except the two Bayern games. Even more funny is that those suprises (and the ones different than IRL) are drawn against each other. As if. Suprised to see BATE, Astra and Plzen qualify for the group stage. Europa League There's a slightly dissapointing amount of suprises considering there are double the teams as the UCL, but if I have to say a few, it's Mainz bossing Group C and Ajax not doing so, Konyaspor going through instead of Gent, Braga being absolutely dominant in Group H, Slovan Liberec instead of Liege and Celtic losing a bit of face by going out early, although Krasnodar isn't a bad team. Again, bit of a funny Dutch draw here with Ajax being drawn against Schalke 04. Wonder how the game counterparts will perform against them, hopefully as well as IRL. Minuy600
2017 - Week 1 First player is out of the door, he has zero potential so zero use in being here besides giving us extra costs. @roggiotis, perhaps you should take a little look. The youth sure have tough matches... Luckily, he's another one of those unneccesary players. A ridiculusly boring match but it worked wonders against a clearly better team who's not in the best of form.

Minuy600
2017 - Week 2 This dude joins us temporarily to help the quite injured midfield a little. Oh my they must be suffering in there. Respectable result with that incredibly weakened squad. Entered the relegation zone for the first time though. Despite the solid performance in the Champions League, they're not doing too hot in the league, so... Squad Report As you can see, many of our players are either not good enough yet or injured. Try to bring players with high determination Sanchez is probably the best of the squad, and the other two are okay, not amazing but they don't play in their most favoured position so it's excusable. I never looked into determination, maybe I should. 2017 - Week 3 Guess we're not staying up! That's another one of our best players out for a good while. We still have two other strikers but both have next to no scoring abillity. Guess we'll be searching for that next if both don't perform and none of our midfielders fit in. Woo! Crucial 3 points against the team just above us. Sadly Martin will be leaving us shortly because we desperatly need money, but on his sendoff he gave us a good present. And with that, all teams now have more than the lowest amount of points from the IRL Segunda B. All of them. RCD Espanyol B is last with 18 points, which is 3 more than Eldense's tally of 15. Minuy600
2017 - Week 4 Eh, they're 3 points into the drop zone so it's not crazy. Back into the relegation zone but if we grab a victory here and there we'll be out again.
Minuy600
2017 - Week 5 Equal on points with Osasuna and Sevilla, 2 points outside of the relegation zone. Yeah, that was to be expected. Wasn't on time to offer him a new contract. See what happens. He'll still be here for now but he's one of the best here, so it's sad to see him go. Raising some neccesary funds. Minuy600
2017 - Week 6 Wow, this season really is a cracker in La Liga. 5 teams fighting it out for the last UCL place and 4(!) teams equal on points for the first relegation spot. Maybe it's not terribly exciting at the front (although 2 points between Barca and Real isn't much either) or at the bottom two places, but in the middle it's just great. Reminds me of the IRL Jupiler League this season. Into the direct relegation zone for the first time. We're not far behind safety but we HAVE to win. We absolutely need to. I hate injuries. Need 7 points in 5 games and they wouldn't even listen to me when I said the injuries had a big influence. Well sure, it's just our second best midfielder and our only true goalscorer gone, why am I complaining, right???? (...Oh dear the squad's unhappy too. Guess my time at the club could really be up)
Minuy600
2017 - Week 7 Got a player for next season as a replacement for Hans Mulder. Gee thanks. Two sackings. Also look at me out there, wow, i'm popular. If only Tabala didn't screw himself over... Alright that is good news. He can finally be benched again at least. Am I really that bad to lose against one of the teams below us...? This would've been great but sadly they've moved into the relegation zone as well recently so I can't imagine that I can pick them up considering the deep trouble we're in now.
