2 away games to start the season and what a surprise, 2 draws. It was only fitting that Chris Smith scores our first league goal of the season as well as the first goal in a friendly, this is one of the only times where the clubs top scorer is the goalkeeper.

September 2019

The month started off nicely enough with 2 wins, against 17th Dobwalls and 18th Plymstock United and then things got tough, we crashed out of the cup in the first round again but in the league we faced home games against 2nd and 4th and an away game against 1st. Brutal. we've managed to stay unbeaten but it's not very exciting,

That tactic didn't last long, I've gone to a basic 4-2-3-1 for now.

October 2019

Chris Smith scores another 2 goals for us to take his tally up to 3 and remains the joint top-scorer for us, we also lost our unbeaten run to recently relegated New College Swindon but we're still looking good in 6th.

November 2019

A good October where the biggest blip was losing our lead against Bude Town thanks to going down to 10 men and they really capitalised on that. We're still looking strong with just 2 points separating 2nd and 7th.

Thanks for following Clarke Promotion would be very nice, and as it stands Sticker are in 3rd in the division above and Wadebridge are in 6th so there doesn't seem to be much of a step-up in quality.

Ah, the 1-1 draws have returned, we've done enough to find ourselves in 2nd although it will be very tough to catch up to Mousehole and very tough to hold off the challenge from 3rd-8th really!

We actually won a game! we're all the way down in 7th but hopefully the lads are motivated enough now to stop us from falling any more down the table.

Youth Candidates!

The personalities are dire but for the first time we have someone with more than 1.2* CA and we also have a few interesting 2nd nationalities, not that any of them are going to get capped though.

100 games in and I've accomplished nothing so far, thankful to pick up more points and with 2 games left Chris Smith is our joint top scorer...

Mathematically we can finish as high as 2nd and as low as 12th but lets hope for 4th to 6th.

End of Season 2018/19

Two 1-0 games sees us manage to scrape 4th on the final day of the season which is great! Mousehole absolutely ran away with the league this season, hopefully a team worse than them have gotten relegated to make next season a bit easier for us!

This has to be a first...our goalkeeper finished the season as the joint top goal scorer!

2019/20 Pre-Season

Very happy with these results, all of them play in the tier above us and it was 0-0 until we had a player sent off in the 15th minute against Tavistock wo yes it's bad they scored 4 but I'm not too disheartened.

Expectations are lower than ever but I still want to aim for top 5. Again we brought in £1.5K through sponsorship and sold another 10 season tickets.

This season has a good feeling, a hint of optimism and unpredictability, goals scored are up, goals conceded are also up, Chris scores another penalty and we're off to a good start in 3rd, it feels the same, but different.

Another poor month and we slide further down to 15th, we had a couple of tough games but managed to take 3 points from league leaders Bude Town away from home.

November 2019

A vast improvement sees us climb 9 places! We're not even at the half-way point and we've scored just 1 goal less than in the entirety of last season. Also, Brexit happened.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

December 2019

A decent month with 2 away draws and an easy home win over Penzance sees us in 7th although if we win our game in hand then we will move up to 4th.

A very symmetric month with 2 wins, a draw and 2 losses. This leaves us still in touching distance of the top of the table being just 3 points behind 2nd so for now I'm happy where we are, it's much better than 15th!

Very happy with how that turned out considering we had games against 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 9th! We're just 2 points off of Liskeard Athletic and we seem unlikely to be able to catch Elburton Villa who are 4 points clear but also have a game in hand.

A perfect month of 3 wins from 3 leaves us in 2nd, 2 points clear of Bude Town but 5 behind Elburton Villa with just 2 games left. We won't win the league but we need to score 1 goal to break the league goal-scoring record and we need 2 points to beat our record points total of 57 from 2 seasons ago.

End of Season 2019/20

Elburton pipped us to the title in the end but we now hold the record for most goals scored in the league breaking the previous record of 68 goals and we've also broken our record points total as well so it's been a good season on the whole! Going from history though, we're going to finish 4th next season.

2020/21 Pre-Season

Despite finishing 4th and above for the last 4 seasons I still only have to remain competitive. Lovely.

You should try it Wicksy It will be a great feeling and hopefully we'll get our first promotion in the next couple of seasons, I'm hoping the reach the Premier League by 2100!

I think/ hope so, I use an instant result skin to speed up the process a bit so I don't see why I shouldn't reach my goals, I may delay getting FM18 until they're completed.
