That was a bloody terrible finish to the season, no win since that victory over Exmouth on the 29th of January! It looks like I may need to invest in Junior Coaching since I'm probably not going to get too far the way I'm going, all that I need now is the finances to do it.

Whoa...quite the finish to 2022.  Must have been a nerve-wracking April.  Good luck in the new season -- hopefully that extra year of experience will make a difference in the aggregate, in terms of players having developed!

It was horrible haha, hopefully we can finish a bit stronger this season! And maybe nut I doubt it, with facilities this bad any improvements will be minimal.

That was close. Bet you were ******** bricks.

I was. Would have been nice to use some faecal bricks to plug the gaps in defence.

Didcot in the SWP? :D Looks like a lot of Somerset teams there too.

You must have been delighted to have stayed up at the expense of your local arch-rivals.

It's just a tad odd that the regions aren't perfect but I'll have to make do haha and yes it was great to survive at the expense of Helston :D They are making a strong case to be here again next season though conceding just 3 goals in their first 7 games.

What is this madness, an unbeaten month?!? We're up in 6th just 2 points off of 1st place Godolphin Atlantic which is amazing and we've finally done it! We have finally gotten past the 1st Round of the Walter C Parson Cup by beating Teignmouth 8-7 on penalties!!

Ouch. We went down to 10 men in extra time against Godolphin Atlantic and lost, we went 2-0 down in 5 minutes and went down to 10 men after 9 minutes to be battered 6-1 by Hook Norton and we stayed with 11 men on the pitch to knock Mousehole out of the top spot.

Levy is out of control, eh?

Maybe Zinedine would have better luck going back to Spain?  Valencia just hired Klinsmann, of all people...

Well, Levy is out, Levy was replaced by a guy called Kelvin Thomas in June 2022.

Zidane was Tottenhams 4th manager, Pochettino was sacked on New Years Day 2018 and replaced by Louis Van Gaal who spent 4 years and 1 day there before being sacked and replaced by one Klinsmann..who spent 343 days as manager before being sacked and..well...Zidane.

Zidane was sacked by Madrid in 2019, he then spent just under 9 months in charge of Napoli but was again sacked, he spent 8 months at Olympiakos before being approached by Marseille where he spent just shy of 2 years and now 14 days at Tottenham.

Just the 4 points from the final 4 games but it ended up being good enough to secure 5th and equalling our best ever league finish! What's also good is that, from what I've seen at least, all clubs that finish 10th or above get entered into next seasons FA Vase, we're actually being entered into a national competition! (watch us go out in the first round)

Great game and great way of presenting! I like your pace and your month-by-month approach. You get decent results though I'm very impressed by your determination looking at the 'progress' your youth development is making. Keep it up though!

Thanks for the comment Timetxu! I like to keep things short and sweet so people can just skim through at their own leisure and the lack of progress doesn't really surprise me, I feel like it will be 30 years before I hit the heights of the Vanarama leagues! :D

I see Vauxhall Motors had a huge win in the National League North, can you show their progress, they always seem way overpowered in this database.

Probably due to rep

Sure thing!

We made our FA Vase debut against Western League side Cribbs (The Western League is the division above the division we're in) and were duly knocked out 3-0. They had just beaten 7th tier side Tonbirdge in the FA Cup so it's not too disgraceful. We're also through again in the Walter C Parsons Cup and we're looking good in 3rd in the league :)

Interesting, would be good to see if they make the football league.

Is that Dan Casey of Sunderland?

Indeed it is, he joined Vauxhall back in the 2017/18 season and has been there ever since.

@Makoto Nakamura Whats your opinion/feeling toward playing youths that have the silver star rating? Ive one 16 year old with a great potential rating that keeps improving but his CA is 3.5 silver stars?

Honestly, at this level I don't think the starts matter too much since everyone is at around the same level and the assistants JPA JPP aren't going to be too great anyway so I just let him pick the side and go with it.
