Welcome to part two of our update on our 'Future Stars'.

First off we look at Matthew Cooper the young full back has impressed on a handful of occasions already this season and take his tally up to 14 starts, 10 of which were in the league. Impressively he has managed to gain 2 youth caps, one of which was England U21s impressive 3-1 win over Wales in which Cooper got an impressive 8.3 rating, and with his overall rating just over 7.00 this youngster could be in for a breakthrough season, next season.

Cooper also was close to being the first of our youngster to win an award, narrowly missing out on the young player of the month award for february, just pipped to the post by Hoilet (2nd) and team mate Albrighton.

He may or may not be pleased by the sacking of Houllier on the 27th February, his replacement Laudrup has managed 2 games, and not played Cooper yet, or even featured him on bench.

Cooper Profile

QPR, Millwall, and Cardiff. Three games, 7 points and 3 starts for Long Tym Toon, could this be a coincidence, or is Long Tym Toon some sort of talisman for Leicester. Well he certainly was in the Cardiff game, playing exceptionally wel with a 7.6 rating and playing a through ball which set up a nice goal in front of the home fans.

A not so impressive 6.64 average in his 8 starts, but his performances have been improving, with a 6.9 (QPR), 7.2 (Millwall), and the aforementioned 7.6 against Cardiff.

The player dubbed the new Michael Carrick, still has some work to do, but with Chelsea interested prehaps a higher level of coaching will be the inspiration the youngster needs.

Toon Profile

Next to one of our youngsters who recently played against Toons Leicester, Karim Al Gaddafi. Who has prehaps had the biggest upturn in fortunes. Playing in 5 of Ipswichs 10 matches over the last 2 months. Starting 3 in a row at the start of February, in the wins against Leeds, Notts Forrest, and Preston. Gaddafi scored in both the Nottingham game and against Preston. Unfortunate for him was the injury that he recieved in training the next day, which saw him miss the next 2 games, and may be the reason why he was rested for the following game against Scunthorpe.

He returned for the games against Watford and Leicester, but failed to impress, which is probably why he has not been in the first team since, and has had to watch the next 2 senior games from the stands. Including a 2-1 win over arch rivals Norwich in the Old Farm Derby, which put the Tractor boys top of the league with 9 games to go.

Gaddafi has provisionally signed a professional contract which will start in June for a whopping £475 a week.

Gaddafi Profile

Noise has played another 3 games for his club in Germany(Hoffenheim), and scored another goal, as well as keeping up his high tackling and passing ratio. No doubt that he has still had the best start from any of our youngsters. However with our rights to the Bundesliga limited it is hard to say much else.

We can however discuss his incredibly impressive record for the U21s, playing another 3 times for belgiums U21 side, bringing his tally to 7. Most notable was his fine performance in the 5-1 win of Azerbaijan, in which Noise scored twice and got a 9.7 rating.

With no clubs declaring their interest, surely it can't be long before he becomes the next belgium superstar on everyones lips.

Noise Profile

Next to Da Silva, who will be happy that he has more than doubled his playing time for Valencia, gaining 20 minutes of European experience in his sides 2-0 away defeat by Rangers, but probably more memorable for the youngster will be his first league goal for Valencia, in the one start he has had over the last 2 months, in an exciting match against Mallorca, in which Valencia came out eventual 2-1 winners.

He also got another goal for Andorra in their 3-2 friendly win against Moldova, however the Euro Championship qualifying group loss to slovenia will be a sour note, as Da Silva did not play well (5.9) in the 4-0 loss.

Da Silva Profile

Well thats it for another show. Hope you enjoyed the show, and call/text in if you have any comments you would like to make. Once again this is 'Future Stars' only on Sky Sports.

Welcome to part 3 of our 'Future Stars' special.

We start of today by looking at the progress of Alan Juel Hansen. Another 6 starts and one sub apperance for Celta has produced a very unimpressive 0 goals. Still not playing to the best of his ability for the struggling spanish side.

He will be slightly more happy with his extra cap for the Danish U21 side, a 2-0 win over rivals Norway and a reasonable performance (6.8).

Hansen Profile

Next we go to another foreign league. Traveling to Portugal to cast an eye of youngster Igor Kesina. However he is yet another youngster who is not exactly firing on all cylinders. Another start and sub apperance in the league rewarded 0 goals, and his cameo for Sportings European game against Lokomotiv Moscow, resulted in another poor performance (6.4).

Things went from bad to worse when Kesina suffered a thigh strain in training on the 13th March, which will kept him out for the rest of March, and may do for another week or so.

Kesina will also not be impressed with the fact that after Slovenias final friendly, in which he played quite well (6.7) he was not chosen for the European Championship squad against Italy.

Kesina Profile

Poole had another good few months for Charlton. Starting every match, apart from the 2 he was banned for after accumulating 10 yellow cards, and contributing a goal and 4 assists.

Obviously he is starting to become known in the league as bottom of the league Yeovils Terry Skiverton, stated that Poole must be stopped to get anything from their match. This however seemed to spur Poole on more, who played very well in the match, and scored the final goal in a 3-1 win for his side.

Interest in this youngster still abides, with Derby, Liverpool and Chelsea all looking at the young League 1 player.

Poole Profile

Le Sulks injury hit career continues, after recovering from a sprained ankle, and playing 5 more unspectacular games for Werder Bremen, injure hits once again. This time it is a groin strain, which has kept him out from the 19th March, until today 29th March, and will keep him out for around another 2 weeks.

Le Sulk Profile

wow 39 games and still not been fouled

not bad for a winger

Where are charlton in the league ?

28th in the league. Yeh, i don't know if thats a good sign or not?? LOL, could be he just backs out of tackles, or maybe he is too skilful?

Wahoo the dirty swede believes in me finally aha wanna stay with the foxes. Hmm labelled the next carrick s an insult haha

Maybe a little bit of an insult, but im sure you wouldn't mind getting £17mil worth of transfers in 3 seasons like he did back when he was actually an ok player.

Nice nice, better to stay at a mid table team and play than get a top transfer and move to the U21's. :)

yeh just wish i had german leagues on so i could give more detail.

But certainly better to stay at mid table/ 2nd tier of your nation and gain some first team experience i think.

April/May - The final stretch

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRdhd0VCKwMeh5_w5CcqAqSP6YaapxHUC4xmKmu0ch6Eb_gtVMJ&t=1

Welcome to our end of season update on our young stars. It has been an interesting season, after finding these youngsters from across the globe in our talent search led by top worldwide scouts. Some have ended up as U18/reserve team players, some have earned their way into the first team, and some have well slightly dissapointed considering their potential.

The first player who has truly shown some fine performances and a glimpse of the future he may have is young winger Andrew Poole.

The youngster has performed admirably for a Charlton side that did not quite reach its potential.

A total of 45 games for the club, scoring 4 goals, 18 assists and an average rating of 7.13, another interesting point is that Poole has never been fouled.

Poole is currently part of the England U21 set-up but has yet to earn his first youth cap.

It has been reported that Poole was being chased by a number of clubs at the start of May, with Ancelotti (Chelsea) publicly stating that he would "love to make Poole part of his team". Poole obviously flattered responded in the press by stating that although he has vowed to help Charlton improve their league position, he had to consider his options, and was looking for a speedy resolution. However since May, nothing has come of Chelsea interest, and in fact it has reportedly cooled off.

Poole Profile

The next player to look at is the only youngster to have been transferred so far. Mr Ihsaan had a huge move from Bologna to the red devils of Manchester.

As expected the youngster is more one for the future, and this has shown in the fact that he has mainly featured in the U18 squad at Old Trafford. He has however been impressive, in his 13 appearances, scoring 10 goals and an average rating of 7.42.

Ihsaan did get his league debut on the last game of the season, as Manchester United played their reserves/youngsters in a pointless 0-0 draw at Craven Cottage, Ihsaan however did not impress in his 5.8 rated debut, lets just hope for his sake that this doesn't leave a lasting bad impression in Fergies mind.

Ihsaan is also in the England U21 squad, and is currently learning from England Legend Michael Owen, but is hailed as a similar player to Berbatov.

Ihsaan Profile

Continuing in the english leagues we look at young James Sheriff. A player whose biggest acheivement so far is scoring in England U21s 5-0 victory over Armenia in European U21 Championship match.

He has also impressed in Tottenhams U18 team, scoring 14 goals in 23 starts. An Average rating of just under 7 will also have ol Arry keeping one eye on the talented youngster.

Sheriff Profile

Still in the english leagues, and this time with another youngster to shine in the U18s and King Tikki-Man. The Wolves player racked up a massive 41 non competitive games for the club, scoring an impressive 32 goals with an average rating of 7.28. How McCarthy has not played this youngster is beyond anyones mind, i wouldn't be too surprised if we see him blooded next season.

Currently part of the England U19 set up the youngster is being tutored by Kevin Doyle.

Tikki Man Profile

Bunday another youngster plying his trade in England, has been nothing short of fantastic for the Leeds U18 side, and had made the step up to first team action last time we saw him.

He started off this period well, the first match of May was one in which Bunday started, played 90 minutes and scored a goal with a 7.6 rating.

For some reason Bunday did not feature in the next couple of matches, and then finally was used again as a substitute for the injured McCormack on the 45 minute mark. Bunday played the second half of that match against Doncaster, and set up a goal to see his side go 2-0 up (which is how the game ended).

Beyond anyones belief Bunday did then not feature in the last 3 games of the season.

Time will only tell if the Manager just doesn't like Bunday or if he is just being very slowly blooded into the first team.

With Chelsea interested in the England U19 player, it could be an interesting summer for Bundays agent. Ancelotti even went as far as, in the middle of May, stating his desire in the youngster. Bunday responded by saying he wanted a speedy resolution, and that he was confident of cementing a first team place in the Leeds squad, prehaps a subtle hint at Manager Simon Grayson.

Bunday Profile

Still in England we look towards Leicester and Long Tym Toon. The youngster has made another 3 starts for Leicester bringing his final season total to 11 starts, 0 goals, 1 assist and an average rating of 6.68. Not a season he will look back on too fondly, but he is still learning, and prehaps the prospect of joining Tikki-Man at Wolves will help Toon up his game, or at least send his agent out for talks with the transfer window approaching.

Toon Profile

Last but not least is young full back Matthew Cooper who will be pleased , with his first seaosn in the Premier League. Playing over a third of his sides games in the league, and making a total of 17 Apperances for Villas Senior Side.

England U21 manager Stuart Pearce has given the youngster 3 caps, and most recently Cooper has impressed at Left Back against Armenia, where he raided up and down the left gaining a paper rating of 8.4.

However only 3 of his games have come in the 3 months Laudrup has been in charge, so is he seen as an Old Regime player by Laudrup, or is the danish manager just being patient with the youngster?

Cooper Profile

Final Standings

So we have the final standing for the English leagues.

With Chelsea dominating the Premier League, thanks to the 25 and 15 league goals for Torres and Drogba Respectively.

Premier League - Final Table

After a poor end to the season Al Gaddafi's Ipswich fail to get promoted in the Championship, as Nottingham Forest end up as champions.

Championship - Final Table

Charlton and Andrew Poole, went into the season as favourites to go up, but some inconsistent form let them down, as 2nd favourites Southampton Clinch the title.

April/May - The final stretch

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRdhd0VCKwMeh5_w5CcqAqSP6YaapxHUC4xmKmu0ch6Eb_gtVMJ&t=1

Welcome to the 2nd part of our end of season update. This time we will be focusing on the foreign talent within the youth that we named as the "future stars" of football.

We start of by looking at a player who has sadly had to face relegation this season. However this may actually present Mapinduzi with a chance to shine. His side Lecce finished rock bottom of the Italian Seria A, a whole 13 points away from safety.

Mapinduzi started to get some chances in the first team, but will rue the fact that he did not impress.

With 0 goals from 11 appearances for the club, it will not be a debut season to remember. However Mapinduzi is showing signs of improvement, and his international record of 2 goals in 3 games will be of some joy to the young african player.

Mapinduzi Profile

Next to a player who has thoroughly impressed in Germany this season, Chuck Noise. The youngster has been in fantastic form for Hoffenheim scoring 9 goals in 31 appearances for the first team. Added to his hugely impressive tackling and passing ratio and we have a player who is showing real potential. Noise was also delighted with his first start and first cap for Belgium and although it ended in a 2-1 European Championship Qualifying loss, it was an overall good experience and Noise has stated he is detemined to stay in his national team squad. The younsgter has 2 years left on his contract, but surely with his name now on the international scene it won't be long before clubs become interested in the young talented midfielder.

Noise Profile

Kesina has had different fortunes, and although he is another one of our youngsters to have been capped, he is yet to have found any real form for club or country. A rather dissapointing season in which Kesina managed 12 appearances if you count his 2 caps for Slovakia. Not much to report on the youngster apart from the fact that he has spent the end of the season out injured, which can't of helped his progress.

Kesina Profile

Another youngster who will be rather dissapointed is young Buzzasto Da Silva, the Andorran has been capped 9 times now and is making a name for himself in the national team, however he has had limited chances with Valencia, and although scoring once in his 3 appearances for the club it will not be enough to keep in the first team, as the performances just haven't been there.

However with Manager Emery dispatched with it remains to be seen whether caretaker Anston Polster will be kept on or whether a new manager will come in.

Either way it will be a chance for Da Silva to prove himself to a new man.

Da Silva Profile

Someone who did force himself into the first team was Allan Juel Hansen, who although started the season poorly, must have got used to the country and the language (Which he has learnt to a basic level), as he finished the season in fine form, with 2 goals in the last 5 matches. Both of which came in a Liga Adelante match with Ponferradina, where Hansen really showed the talent he undoubtedly has, with a fine performance (8.4).

Hansen Profile

The last of our foreign contingent is Le Sulk who has had a terrible season, especially with injuries. Spending a total of 4 and a half months out injure Le Sulk has never managed to get a good consistent run in the team. His 2 goals and 2 assists in 17 league matches may not be the worst record, but it certainly won't keep him in the first team.

Even though Le Sulk has been named in the French youth team on several occasions, injury or non selection has left him with 0 youth caps to his name.

Le Sulk Profile

**Also we must apologise for the missing footage on our last broadcast, where we should have shown the following**

Gaddafi has recently had some good news, being called up and captaining his national sides game against Comoros in the African Nationals Qualifying. The result was a dissapointing 3-1 loss, and only playing 45 minutes will not have pleased the young Tractor Boys Striker.

His form for his club has also shown signs of improvement, with his last 5 games resulting in a good 7.16 rating, and a nice goal in his sides 3-1 away win over Pompey, in which Gaddafi came off the bench to play just over half of the match.

The young Libyan will be looking to cement a first team place next season, and no doubt if his form continues to improve Ipswich manager Paul Jewell with have to consider him.

Gaddafi Profile

Final Standings

In Liga BBVA there always looked like one winner and Pep Guardiola, lifted another title with his Barcelona side, who finished a massive 18 points above rivals Real Madrid.

Liga BBVA - Final Table

Staying in spain with the Lige Adelante, and champions Rayo will be delighted to have finished top with media expectations having them as a mid table team at best.

Liga Adelante - Final Table

Finally the Serie A title went to Inter, in a season where no teams really stood out at the top, and 75 points is not a great total to end up with.

Serie A - Final Table

That is all of our profiles finished for now, but right after the break you need to stay tuned for live updates on the transfer window.

June - Live Transfer Watch

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRdhd0VCKwMeh5_w5CcqAqSP6YaapxHUC4xmKmu0ch6Eb_gtVMJ&t=1

7th June

Karim Al Gaddafi signs a profressional contract with Ipswich Town, which is worth £475 a week, and will keep him at the club until 2014.

9th June

Chelsea make an initial bid of £1.7 million for Glen Bunday, his U18 form coupled with a handful of first team games, has certainly caught someones attention.

12th June

Having their first bid rejected by Leeds was no hindurance, and Chelsea obviously want their man, almost doubling their bid to a cool £3,300,000 plus clauses.

Lyon must be feeling cheeky, as they put in a £475,000 initial offer for Mapinduzi. The Leece man is surely valued at ALOT more.

13th June

The Leeds board have gone above Simon Graysons head and accepted Chelseas offer for Bunday, stating the offer was too good to turn down.

Also the £475,000 bid of OL was accepted by Leece, but with Tenerife interested and Roma having a first option chance, Mapinduzis future is far from sorted.

15th June

Bunday seals the deal on a transfer which may rise to £3,700,000 depending on clauses. This deal will see Bunday rake in £7,750 per week. The youngster belives he will learn alot at Chelsea, and Lampard clearly agrees, as he has stated that Bunday has a bright future ahead of him.

16th June

Mapinduzi signs for Lyon, on the cheap and signs a 5 year contract for £5,000 a week. Slated as a hot prospect for the future, Mapinduzi has been lauded by Michel Bastos, who thinks the Tanzania international has a big future ahead.

21st June

Andrew Poole is the latest of our youngsters subject to a bid, with Man City offering an Initial £1.2 million for the on form Charlton youngster.

22nd June

The Charlton board have intervened and accepted the offer for Poole, who was undoubtedly one of Charltons best players last season.

Chelsea make a £2.7million + future incentives bid for Karim Al Gaddafi, with Man City interested it could become our first bidding war.

23rd June

Man City match Chelseas £2.7 + clause bid for Al Gaddafi which has already been accepted. The question is which will the Libyan choose to join.

24th June

Poole accepts Man Citys contract offer of £10,750 a week becoming our 2nd highest paid player. For £1.3 million he is however nowhere near our most expensive star. Poole will have a boost to know that club captain Tevez thinks he has a bright future ahead of him.

27th June

Gaddafi accepts Chelseas offer and will be joining Glen Bunday at Stamford Bridge. On a contract worth £2,000 a week and a transfer fee of £2.7million. Impressive for one so young. Lampard also thinks that Gaddafi will have a bright future at Stamford Bridge.

But do you think you will get more of a chance at Chelsea?

Of course, if not i will probably move on in a few years for more money :D

I don't rate AL-Gaddafi 's chances of much first team action with such a clearly talented young player ahead of him

I wouldnt mind Tikki-Man staying at Wolves for a couple of years and become as prolific in the first team as he is in the U18's.. he clearly has talent! Then hopefully move to a top European club, whether it be in England or further ashore!

Anymore news on whether Long Tym Toon is making the trip to Wolves? The saga continues...
