hrbfcrule
September 2028 Friendly: Sweden U19's 1-0 Estonia U19's It turned out to be a very unwelcome friendly as we picked up 3 injuries meaning we had to play the last 15 mins with 9 men. Despite this Jonas Andersson (YP49) grabbed the winner in the 86th min. We should have had a more comfortable victory than this but at least we won. League: Tord 1-0 Helsingborg A very even game but the better chances fell to us and we took advantage of this. Jorgen Melki (YP37) grabbed the winner in the 87th min. League: Kalmar FF 2-0 Tord Another away loss and don't those draws look good now. We were the better team in the 1st half by far and almost had a goal to show for it but Jorgen Melki (YP37) missed a penalty in 1st half injury time. The game swung in Kalmar's favour after that and they out played us in the 2nd half and unlike us they got the goals to show for it. League: Hammarby Fotbol 3-3 Tord A highly entertaining match but I am still annoyed we didn't win this one. We took the lead 3 times this match but every time we were pegged back. Peter Jansson (YP33) scored after half an hour but an own goal menat Hammarby were level. This didn't last long as Erik Carlsson (YP41) retook the lead for us 2 mins later. Just after the hour mark they equalised again before Tony Thoren (YP5) scored our 3rd. Their final equaliser came in the 80th min, to be fair a draw was a fair result for both sides. Wavelberry
Looks like it's going to be one of those frustrating seasons where you're there but not quite. Still it's all experience innit?
hrbfcrule
October 2028 League: Tord 3-1 Elfsborg A great result for us and definately deserved as well. Peter Jansson (YP33) put us ahead in 1st half injury time. We continued where we left off in the 2nd half with Simon Berisha (YP31) making it 2-0 and Erik Carlsson (YP41) adding a 3rd. Elfsborg got a consolation but we got the win. League: Djurgarden 1-1 Tord Erik Carlsson (YP41) gave us an early lead but Djurgarden responded with an equaliser 4 mins later. We perhaps should have won this but our lack of finishing let us down once again. League: Mjallby 1-2 Tord Woah what a great reult against 3rd place, away from home and with us having a man sent off in the 35th min. Erik Carlsson (YP41) again struck early this time in the 51st second to give us the lead. But again we were unable to keep that lead for more than 5 mins. A huge shock was on the cards when Jorgen Melki (YP37) converted a penalty in the 71st min. We hung onto the lead to claim a fantastic win and 3 points depite having just 3 shots compared to their 17. Although we both ahd the same amount on target. League: Tord 3-0 Assyriska Did our job quickly and efficiently, Peter Jansson (YP33) scored twice in the opening 10 mins and Jonas Andersson (YP27) added a 3rd just past the half hour. We could have scored a couple more in the 2nd half but I won't complain too much because we won comfortably. Okay heres the summary. 1st gets a Champions League spot and 2nd and 3rd definately get Euro Cup places. 4th place could depending on the Swedish cup winner. In the final round of matches: AIK vs Tord and Gefle vs Kalmar FF I need to win to be sure of 4th place or just equal Gefle's result. However . . . . . The Swedish Cup final is IFK Goteborg vs Elfsborg, so if Elfsborg win then they will get the Euro Cup place instead of whoever is in 4th. Confused? Euro U19 Championship Quals U19 1st Qual Stage: Sweden U19's 3-0 Faroe Islands U19's Tony Joza gave us a slender 1st half lead in a match where we should be cruising. Things got worse when we got a man sent off in the 66th min and I was fearing the worst. But Jakob Karlsson and Andreas Dahlsson scored late goals to secure the win. U19 1st Qual Stage: Iceland U19's 1-2 Sweden U19's Iceland edged ahead early on despite a very 50 50 1st half. We took control of the 2nd half though and 2 Tobias Ljung goals saw us reverse the result and almost certainly qualify us for the next round. U19 1st Qual Stage: Hungary U19's 0-1 Sweden U19's Didn't really deserve to win this but I don't care. Petter Ohlsson scored the only goal of the match in the 27th min. We will face Spain, Iceland (again) and Austria in the next round

hrbfcrule
Thanks for the support everyone November 2028 League: AIK 1-1 Tord It looked like this wasn't going to be our day when firstly our own penalty shout got turned down and a few minutes later AIK were awarded a very dodgy one. They duly dispatched it to go 1-0. Meanwhile in the Gefle match they had been 1-0 up but Kalmar had pulled it level to 1-1 at half time. So we needed a goal in the 2nd half as things stand. I went to attacking mode and it paid off as Peter Jansson (YP33) sprang clear of the defence in the 59th min and placed the ball past the oncoming keeper. Things got even better as news filtered through that Kalmar had taken the lead against Gefle and the goal was scored by a player called Fredrik Karlsson (a different one.) It stayed that way till full time and we had a realistic chance of European football next season. We had just about done our bit now it was time for IFK Goteborg to do theirs . . . . . . . . hrbfcrule
End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2028 League Table, League Graph Squad Was definately an exciting season, we started off quite slowly but we picked up momentum throughout the season. We drew a lot of games this season but most of them were away and we normally lose away games so I am fairly happy. We got some great results this season, the most notable being the 4-0 win over AIK. Our fight for a European place came down to the last game of the season and to put it simply we needed to equalor better Gefle's result and then hope IFK Goteborg beat Elfsborg in the Swedish Cup final. Well as you know we did out bit by drawing to AIK while Gefle lost. Unfortunately Elfsborg beat IFK Goteborg in the final 3-1. So close but yet so far. Swedish Cup Got another home draw but this time it was against IFK Goteborg so no luck there. We played well but still lost. Youth Players (At the Club) Tony Thoren (YP5) - Played most of his games off the bench this season but did manage to score a few vital goals. Filip Linder (YP6) - Didn't play a game as his career slowly winds down. A loyal servant to the club but I think his time has come. Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) - Same as above, he should retire soon. Comes off the bench for most of his appearances, didn't do too much and I doubt he will get any opportunities next season as my younger strikers are starting to play well. Stefan Nilsson (YP13) - The only old player who still holds his place in the 1st team. Still playing well, not anything special but doing his job well. Anders Svensson (YP16) - Only a few more appearances as the newer players start taking his place. Jonas Andersson (YP27) - Wasn't as good this season but still played his part as a rotation player. Bojan Ohlsson (YP29) - Played reasonably well untilt he end of the season where, for some reason, he started getting aggresive and got himself off a couple of times. Anton Dahlberg (YP30) - Continued creating goals but didn't score any himself this season. Simon Berisha (YP31) - Has become a rotation player, was one of the worse players this season although he wasn't terrible. Peter Jansson (YP33) - Had a poor start to the season but found his stride towards the end which helped us push for a European place. Matthias Gustafsson (YP34) - Only a few appearances this season, has been making noises about wanting to leave. I am happy for him to do so as he is surplus to requirements. Hakan Larsson (YP35) - Not as good as he normally is but I am sure he will perform to his usual level next season. Jorgen Melki (YP37) - Our 2nd best player of the season. Was solid in the middle of the park and also scored a few goals. Niklas Svensson (YP38) - I think the average rating is decieving for keepers, he performed much better than that. As the 12 clean sheets and only 29 conceded shows you. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) - Upped his game significantly this season, I was considering selling him but I have now had to reconsider. Viktor Johansson (YP40) - Still not totally convinced by him, he has 1 more year on his contract if he plays well in that year I'll keep him. Erik Carlsson (YP41) - Maybe he read my review of him on last season's review because he shut me up this season. He struggled in the 1st half of the season but the goals were flowing for him in the last 10 games or so. Martin Hansson (YP43) - Another poor season but it was a vast improvement on lasts eason so I will keep him on a bit longer. Joakim Dahlberg (YP44) - Still hasn't played a match but he will be here when I need him Magnus Kjellman (YP45) - Encouraging to see one of the younger players being one of the best in the squad. If the last 2 seasons are anything to go by this guy could be a legend here. Rasmus Svard (YP46) - Got a few more games this season, will probably keep him as he will be needed more and more as the older players retire. Hakan Neilsen (YP47) - Our best player of the season in my eyes. Didn't do much going forward but he excelled in the main part of his job which is to defend. Broke down numerous dangerous situations making it look so easy. Fredrik Juhlin (YP48) - Didn't play a game, probably won't ever either. Jonas Andersson (YP49) - Didn't play great but he is only just 17, I gave him a lot of game time so hopefully that will benefit him. hrbfcrule
You're still improving. I said you would be in a Europe spot, just unlucky results didn't go your way! Hopefully next year Are any of the Youth Players who are not still at the club playing? and who's the best who's no longer at the club? There are a few who are still playing: Fredrik Berg (YP21) - Playing for Varbergs BOIS, a 4th tier side although he is a fringe player. Joakim Lindqvist (YP26) - Plays for 3rd tier side Skijebo, plays about half the games Jimmy Froberg (YP28) - Plays for 3rd Tier side Hogaborg although he doesn't get many games. Daniel Ung (YP36) - is at Holmalund although he has only just signed for them. 4 others are still playing although don't have clubs at the moment Par Eklund (YP32), Mattias Hakansson (YP23), Jonas Widmark (YP25) and finally Lars Lundgren (YP18). Lars Lundgren (YP18) - has done the best for himself since leaving the club. He is without a club now but has played in the 2nd tier with numerous teams as well as spending a couple of season in the 1st tier with Trelleborg and Halmstad. I like the way IFK beat you in the cup yet couldn't be arsed to win the final to deny you European football. Luck is not with you. DSYoungEsq
mmmmmm, better results in a way, yet in another way, not so good. Turned 6 losses into draws, but also managed to turn three wins into draws. Result: same # of points, though one spot higher. Goal for coming season: continue to avoid losses, but rack up a couple extra wins.
hrbfcrule
So close, yet so.....well, close Next season must finally be it. I can feel it I really hope so mmmmmm, better results in a way, yet in another way, not so good.Turned 6 losses into draws, but also managed to turn three wins into draws. Result: same # of points, though one spot higher. I prefer more draws for less losses and wins. Even if 1 away win all season is pretty embarrassing. Goal for coming season: continue to avoid losses, but rack up a couple extra wins. Thanks for the expert advice

hrbfcrule
March 2029 League: Tord 3-2 Elfsborg A good start to the league as we managed to exact a small amount of revenge on the team who took our Euro place last season. The scoreline doesn't show the whole picture as we should have won by a lot more. Elfsborg took the lead with a quarter of the game gone but Erik Carlsson (YP41) was quick to level things up. Peter Jansson (YP33) then gave us the lead just before half time. Peter Jansson (YP33) then made it 3-1 with his 2nd of the match in the 2nd half. Elfsborg got 1 back to make it a nervy ending for us but we held on for a deserved 3 points. Friendly: Greece U19's 2-1 Sweden U19's A disappointing performance, we got totally thrashed and were lucky to only lose by a goal. Sven Eriksson gave us the lead 15 mins in from a penalty but Greece equalised immediately. They scored just after half time to complete the comeback. League: Hammarby Fotboll 1-0 Tord Should have won this but luck didn't go our way. Their only shot on target finding the back of the net whereas our numerous ones couldn't get past the keeper. hrbfcrule
April 2029 League: Tord 4-1 Vasby Erik Carlsson (YP41) got us off to a great start with a goal inside 18 seconds. However Vasby soon restored parity. Despite this explosive start the rest of the 1st half was dull. In the 2nd half we really turned the screw, Erik Carlsson (YP41) got his 2nd of the match in the 50th min before Peter Jansson (YP33) added a late brace. League: Gefle 1-0 Tord Another loss which should have been a win and I can already see Europe slipping away from us if we continue getting this luck. League: Mjallby 1-0 Tord See above. League: Tord 3-2 Trelleborg Home form is still providing entertaining matches at least. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) gave us an early lead before Trelleborg equalised. Peter Jansson (YP33) then helped us retake the lead on the stroke of half time with his 1st of the match. Trelleborg again equalised but Jonas Andersson (YP49) gave us the lead less than a minute after Trelleborg's goal. League: Assyriska 0-1 Tord Finally, our 1st away win has been coming. Typically it's in the match we don't deserve to win but I won't complain. Bojan Ohlsson (YP29) headed home 20 mins from time.
hrbfcrule
May 2029 League: Tord 0-0 IK Sirius I'll take a draw but I was definately looking to win this especially as our away form is looking shaky. League: IFK Goteborg 2-1 Tord Gutted we didn't at least come away with something as Goteborg were down to 10 men for pretty much the whole match. But they scored twice despite having only a handful of shots and we could only muster an own goal in return. Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Degerfors p2-2 Tord So our cup luck continues. We twice took the lead but got pegged back both times. Jonas Andersson (YP49) scored our 1st and the 2nd was an own goal. As for the penalty shoot out i'll let the screenshot do the talking. League: Djurgarden 1-1 Tord Should have won this one again, Anton Dahlberg (YP30) scored our goal but Djurgarden equalised late into 1st half stoppage time. The 2nd half threw up plenty of chances, mainly for us but we couldn't convert them. League: Tord 3-2 AIK A tale of 2 halves. 1st half we were terrific 2nd half we almost threw it all away. Peter Jansson (YP33) scored twice with Anton Dahlberg (YP30) getting the other in the 1st half. AIK managed a mini revival which saw them score twice in the last 15 mins but thankfully for my team's sake we held on. Friendly: Spain U19's 1-0 Sweden U19's I thopught we did incredibly well to hold them to just the 1 goal given the gulf in class. Euro U19 Championship Quals U19 2nd Qual Stage: Sweden U19's 0-3 Austria U19's Thought we might be able to nick a draw or something but things didn't go our way, a red card and an own goal did not help our cause. U19 2nd Qual Stage: Spain U19's 2-0 Sweden U19's Did well to hold them to just 2 especially as we had another red card in this match. U19 2nd Qual Stage: Iceland U19's 2-2 Sweden U19's Should have won but it didn't really matter as we had no chance of qualifying. Ahmed Dhuh and an own goal gave us the lead but Iceland pegged us back.
brFM2011
So close!! Very unlucky mate, hopefully this year will be the year . Good to see the board have accepted your request for the facilities, also what is amazing is the amount of transfer budget you have yet your up there with youth only . Are there any "big spenders" in the league? If that phrase can be used in Sweden
Chutney132
Not wishing to jinx you, but it certainly looks like you have reduced the number of draws (cue massive drawing streak now!). Have you modified your strategy at all? Oh, and to throw my prediction hat into the ring, I'm thinking a slight regression in terms of position this year (i.e solid mid-table), but a season that will cement your place in the Allsvensken, proving the catalyst for future progression into (dare I say it) Europe! All in all, fantastic progress in what seemed early on to be an impossible dream!
Wavelberry
The impossible dream is the Swedish Cup. Europe is a shoo-in in four or five seasons, but I don't think he'll ever, ever win the cup. I may be sober.

RichG
just out interest are you 100% Swedish? Or do you get some other nationalities coming through the youth set up
hrbfcrule
So close!!Very unlucky mate, hopefully this year will be the year . Good to see the board have accepted your request for the facilities, also what is amazing is the amount of transfer budget you have yet your up there with youth only . Are there any "big spenders" in the league? If that phrase can be used in Sweden This season Malmo and AIK have both spent nearly £1M on players but that's pretty much it. Kalmar have spent just over £600k the rest of the teams are under £250k. Over the past few seasons AIK have spent the most but also have sold the most. I would say they have bought 7 of the 10 most expensive players since I've been in the Premier Division. Which makes it all the funny that they are doing very badly. Sweden seems to be a selling nation overall, teams will bring in players for <£500k then sell on in a few seasons for 5-10 times the value. Not wishing to jinx you, but it certainly looks like you have reduced the number of draws (cue massive drawing streak now!). Have you modified your strategy at all?Oh, and to throw my prediction hat into the ring, I'm thinking a slight regression in terms of position this year (i.e solid mid-table), but a season that will cement your place in the Allsvensken, proving the catalyst for future progression into (dare I say it) Europe! All in all, fantastic progress in what seemed early on to be an impossible dream! Thanks, I think your prediction may be right for this season, we will be very lucky if we manage to get into Europe from this position. The impossible dream is the Swedish Cup. Europe is a shoo-in in four or five seasons, but I don't think he'll ever, ever win the cup. I may be sober. Yer I'm not worried about the Champions League that'll be easy. It's that damn Swedish Cup thats going to take forever to win. The cup is now a curse. I hate it so much, only ever made the Quarter Finals once in 20 seasons. Shame about the qualifiers with Sweden U19s, but at least club matters are on track! Not too fussed about the U19 qualifiers as it would take a minor miracle or some luck to ever get past the 2nd qualifying stage. Much rather do well on club level ofc. just out interest are you 100% Swedish? Or do you get some other nationalities coming through the youth set up Pretty much all the youths are Swedish, I've only had one who declared for a different nation and that was Miodrag Damjanovic (YP3) who got a few youth caps for Bosnia & Herzegovina. I'm sure everyone else has had 1st nationality as Swedish but I haven't checked all my youth player's 2nd nationalities.
hrbfcrule
June 2029 Friendly: Estonia U19's 0-1 Sweden U19's We were pretty terrible but still scraped the win. We should be winning these games by bigger margins but we just didn't click. Bjorn Arvidsson got the only goal of the game just after half time. League: Tord 2-1 Syrianska Kerburan The match was generally poor bar an explosive 10 mins in the 1st half which saw Peter Jansson (YP33) score twice and Syrainska to score once. Good news for us as we managed to come away with the win. League: Malmo FF 1-0 Tord Seem to lose to them 1-0 every time and every time we have deserved a draw or more. This time I thought we had done enough to win the match but it wasn't to be as Malmo scored with 20 mins remaining.
hrbfcrule
July 2029 League: Tord 2-0 Helsingborg The Jonas Andersson's strike to give as a 2 goal win. Jonas Andersson (YP27) scored in the 1st half followed by Jonas Andersson (YP49) early in the 2nd half. League: Kalmar FF 0-0 Tord A fairly even encounter, I'll take the draw as I was expecting to lose this match. League: Elfsborg 1-1 Tord Got very lucky here, Elfsborg were clearly the better team but they couldn't get a 2nd goal. Viktor Johansson (YP40) made them pay with an equaliser in the 74th min. League: Tord 2-1 Gefle A great win which keeps our outside chance of a European place going, judging by the Swedish Cup it looks like i'll need to be top 3. Peter Jansson (YP33) gave us the lead with 15 mins to go but Gefle equalised in the 87th. Erik Mansson (YP50) stepped up to nab the 3 points in 2nd half injury time. hrbfcrule
August 2029 League: Tord 1-1 Hammarby Fotboll Not the worst result in the world but I was expecting to win. Peter Jansson (YP33) gave us an early lead which was soon cancelled out. We were given a chance to grab a late winner when Hammarby had a man sent off in the 72nd min but we couldn't make anyhting happen. League: Vasby 1-2 Tord A nervy win over the league strugglers. Should have scored at least 5 really but at least we won and played extremely well. Peter Jansson (YP33) continued his fine season by scoring twice in 5 mins in the 2nd half to set up the 2-1 win. League: Tord 1-1 Mjallby So close to getting a win which would have really helped our quest for a top 3 finish. Peter Jansson (YP33) gave us the lead in the 10th min which we hung onto until the 87th min when a 30 yarder into the top corner earned Mjallby a point. League: Trelleborg 0-1 Tord We managed to win our away games this month and draw the home ones . Will we never get it perfect. We left it late in this match, Peter Jansson (YP33) again got on the scoresheet. His goal in the 90th min put us 2 points away from 3rd place. hrbfcrule
Good luck for Europe this season Thanks Do you play different tactics home and away? I play the same formation (A 4-1-3-2, 3 cm's and a dm) but I make the away tactic much more defensive using the team and player instructions
hrbfcrule
September 2029 League: Tord 3-0 Assyriska Magnus Kjellman (YP45) opened the scoring in 1st half injury time. This was the boost we needed to go on and comfortably win the game. Jonas Andersson (YP49) made it 2-0 before Peter Jansson (YP33) got yet another goal to finish things off. Friendly: Sweden U19's 0-0 Bosnia & Herzegovina They were probably the better team which is pretty embarrassing as we should be beating them. Still managed to geta draw out of it though. Friendly: Romania U19's 2-0 Sweden U19's Another poor performance, an own goal and a penalty gave Romania the win although they could hav had a handful more. League: IK Sirius 2-1 Tord A pretty average game except for an 8 min period in the 2nd half. IK Sirius scored twice in 6 mins before Peter Jansson (YP33) got a goal back 2 mins later. League: Tord 1-1 Djurgarden We played really well in the 1st half yet somehow we were 1-0 down at half time. We were so much poorer in the 2nd half yet Peter Jansson (YP33) managed to net an equaliser. Still not happy as we should have won this. League: AIK 2-3 Tord We looked comfortable for 88 mins of the game, Jonas Andersson (YP49), Anton Dahlberg (YP30) and Erik Carlsson (YP41) gave us a 3-0 lead. We so nearly threw that away when AIK scored twice in the dying seconds of the match needless to say the team got a right earful despite the win. hrbfcrule
October 2029 League: Tord 2-1 IFK Goteborg A fantastic win for us, Peter Jansson (YP33) got on the scoresheet again for the 9th time in 10 games . Followed by a Jorgen Melki (YP37) penalty. League: Syrainska Kerburan 2-1 Tord After such a good performance in the previous match we slipped up against inferior opposition. You probably know who scored our goal. League: Tord 2-1 Malmo FF Another great performance, pity this month has been let down by the easiest of the 3 matches. I think that has ultimately cost us a place in Europe. A Jorgen Melki (YP37) penalty gave us the lead just 5 mins into the match. We held our lead well until Malmo equalised in the 84th min I thought we had blown it then but Martin Hansson (YP43) came off the bench to net the winner in the 87th min. Euro U19 Championship Quals U19 1st Qual Stage: Romania U19's 1-2 Sweden U19's I was expecting another heavy loss and it looked like I was going to be right when Romania took the lead in the 14th min. But they were a shadow of the team they were last month and we capitalised. Klas Jonsson equalised 5 mins later and Bjorn Arvidsson grabbed the winner in the 88th min. U19 1st Qual Stage: Sweden U19's 1-0 Israel U19's A very close game which we just about edged Soren Lundqvist got the goal in 1st half injury time. This result basically sees us qualify bar extreme circumstances. U19 1st Qual Stage: Faroe Island U19's 0-1 Sweden U19's We got off to a great start when Faroe Islands put it into their own net less than a minute in. It was not the walk in the park I was expecting, it was clearly no luck that they had beaten Romania just a few days before. Thye fought back well and probably deserved a draw but they didn't finish any of the chances they created.

Ticking along nicely on the club front, keep it up Yer I was very surprised. I'm not sure if this is good for Faroe Islands but in the 2030 World Cup Qualifiers they managed to win twice and get a draw in their group to finish 5th above Luxembourg. I'm sure that's an improvement on what they do in irl. Who do you have on the run in? I have Helsingborg away and Kalmar FF at home
