hrbfcrule
Pick it up Tord!Flamers Yeah. Come on now! But I have to say it was a reasonable start. It was a very reasonable start, anything above the relegation zone is fine by me 30 points in the first season, 31 in the second. If i've worked it out right.. your on course to finish with 41 points . Even if that happens judging on the last 2 years it looks to be a slight move up the league although i'm sure the extra points would be a bonus . Doing well so far imo My target each season in the Premier League has been 30 points. Although in the past 15 seasons you would have only been safe 8 times with 30 points. Fredrik Karlsson is a bloody legend. You're so lucky nobody wanted him. Yeah I got quite lucky, he has continued to impress in the next few months . . . hrbfcrule
July 2025 League: IK Sirius 2-1 Tord Our poor form continues as we make it 6 games without a win. IK Sirius scored in the 34th min and wrapped up the match in the 89th. Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) grabbed a consoloation in injury time. League: Tord 3-1 Vasteras SK A great win considering our form. Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) netted twice in the 1st half before Vasteras SK pulled one back. However Hakan Larsson (YP35) restored our 2 goal advantage in the 70th min. League: Tord 2-1 Malmo FF A shock win against Malmo especially as we only had 1 shot on target . Malmo took the lead from the spot in the 20th min but Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) equalised 4 mins before half time. The winner was an unfortunate own goal in the 52nd min. hrbfcrule
August 2025 League: Helsingborg 1-3 Tord Not only did we score 3 but Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) was not on the scoresheet. Jonas Andersson (YP27), Anton Dahlberg (YP30) and Simon Berisha (YP31) all scored before Helsingborg got a 90 min consolation. League: IFK Goteborg 4-1 Tord Well this brought an abrupt halt to our 3 game winning streak. Goteborg dismantled us but at least Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) got us a consolation. League: Tord 0-1 Kalmar FF We were unfortunate not to get a draw, we never looked like winning it but a draw was definately a possibility. League: Tord 1-1 Assyriska Should have won this one, of course it was Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) who scored our goal but Assyriska cancelled it out with an 83rd min leveller. League: Djurgarden 1-0 Tord Same as the Kalmar game we held on until late on but the draw was just out of our grasp. League: Tord 1-0 Elfsborg Struggled to a win as Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) was banned for this match. Hakan Larsson (YP35) got sent off early in the 2nd half but despite this we got the winner. Jorgen Melki (YP37) converted a penalty in the 78th min. I wouldn't get too excited we are playing way above our capabilities at the moment

hrbfcrule
September 2025 League: Trelleborg 3-1 Tord Trelleborg got off to a good start scoring twice in the opening 16 mins. In the 2nd half we struck back with Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) (who else). As we were going for the equaliser Trelleborg hit us oon the counter to make it 3-1 and game over. League: Halmstad 0-0 Tord Bore draw. Out of 19 shots only 2 were on target . League: Tord 3-1 Syrianska FC We were poor for most of the 1st half until Syrianska got a man sent off in injury time. Simon Bersiha (YP31) then scored from the resulting penalty. We continued to pile on the pressure in the 2nd half and it resulted in 2 more goals. Firstly Anders Axelsson (YP20) headed home from a corner then Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) slotted home 4 mins later. Syrianska got a late consolation but the win was ours. hrbfcrule
October 2025 League: Tord 1-2 Mjallby Very unfortunate, it was a case of finishing our chances. We didn't unfortunately and therefore lost. No prizes for guessing who scored our goal. League: Gefle 1-0 Tord They were slightly better and deserved the win but at 1-0 I still thought we had a chance to nick a point. League: AIK 3-1 Tord Same as Mjallby match really we could and should have had a point in this match but our shooting let us down. Of course it was Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) who netted our goal. He is being touted in the media as hot favourite to win the Premier Division Player of the Year and he is top of the Golden Boot by 3 goals with 2 games remaining
hrbfcrule
November 2025 League: Tord 3-2 IK Sirius A great last home match of the season. The 1st half was 50 50 yet we found ourselves 2-0 down. Jorgen Melki (YP37) got 1 back while I was banging my head against my desk in frustration. Then with 15 mins left I make a triple sub 2 of which go on to score in the final 10 mins to turn the game around:cool:. Simon Berisha (YP31) put us on level terms before Johan Heinonen got the winner in the 90th min. League: Vasteras SK 3-0 Tord I fielded a weakened team and it showed as we were utterly torn apart. Oh well it didn't make a difference as we still finished 9th.

hrbfcrule
End of Season Report: IK Tord Swedish Premier Division 2025 League Table, League Graph Squad We had a great season in the league all thanks to one man, Fredrik Karlsson (YP8). The player I tried to sell at the start of the season and no one wanted. He finished as Premier Division top scorer and earned a place in the Team of the Year but missed out on player of the year. The season was made up of good runs and bad runs, we would go on winning streaks and then not win for 5 or 6 games. It was enough for 9th place a whopping 11 points clear of the relegation places. I'll be pleased if we can match it next season but I somehow doubt Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) will replicate his form. Swedish Cup We made a decent effort in the cup but we were never going to beat Kalmar FF. We have now gone 4 seasosn without winning a cup match. Youth Players (At the Club) Anton Alvefelt (YP1) - Starting to feel his age now. Was great when he played but he struggled to stay fit for all the games. Tony Thoren (YP5) - Had a pretty poor season, his age was also a factor luckily a few young 'uns are coming through to take his place. Filip Linder (YP6) - Was reliable as usual although for the 2nd half of the season he was dropped to the bench to give one of the younger keeprs a chance to prove his worth. Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) - Incredible. 16 goals in 27 appearnces this season which equals his best tally for a season. He also won the Golden Boot and a place in the Team of the Year. Stefan Nilsson (YP13) - Also starting to lose his touch, our main core of defenders for so long are starting to get too old. Anders Svensson (YP16) - Not a good season for him either. He is capable of much better. Anders Axelsson (YP20) - Terrible season, he probably will be sold before next season. Jonas Andersson (YP27) - Continues to improve, didn't play as many games this season but if he continues to get better he will win his place back. Bojan Ohlsson (YP29) - One of the younger defenders who needs to step up to the mark. Didn't really do that this season but he should do soon enough. Anton Dahlberg (YP30) - A good season for him, he was our main creator of goals Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) should be very grateful. Simon Berisha (YP31) - His price tag has shot down but his recent performance have been so much better. A great season for him. Peter Jansson (YP33) - Pretty poor season but he was kept in the shadows by his striking partner. Matthias Gustafsson (YP34) - Didn't get many opportunities but didn't play well either. Hakan Larsson (YP35) - Continues to impress at such a young age. Not quite at his potential yet either. Daniel Ung (YP36) - Will probably leave the club as we have 4 keepers in the 1st team squad. Jorgen Melki (YP37) - Has fought his way into the 1st team and played well. Niklas Svensson (YP38) - Was given a chance at the end of the season. Played 11 times conceded 20, not great but a definite replacement for Filip Linder (YP6) in the near future. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) - Getting better and at only 20 he is already a 1st team regular. Viktor Johansson (YP40) - Not good. Erik Carlsson (YP41) is now ahead of him in the pecking order. Erik Carlsson (YP41) - Was given a fair few games this season, didn't score many but created a few. Jon Tornros (YP42) - Will be on his way out soon. His potential and ability have dropped significantly over the last few seasons. Martin Hansson (YP43) - Had a few games and played alright. The potential is definately there. Joakim Dahlberg (YP44) - Will probably be 2nd choice when Filip Linder (YP6) retires. Not too much chance of getting a game before then. Finances - Over £300k profit last season. Youth facilities will cost £1 mill though and will be ready in May. Taunton
Have to agree with the previous poster. You are doing a great and steady progress. And that is why this thread and your career is so interesting, because you are building one brick after another, slowly getting there, one step at the time. I am very impressed, and always looking forward to your updates. Happy to see that my 400th post was in here;) Another thing: All the same in Spain, the big two winning the league. Wonder if someone is going to break their hegemony.

Impressive to see all those players achieving 200+ appearances too Thanks, I think the appearance thing is a better guide to show the true legends of the club and i've never really liked the Overall Best Eleven. It's a good idea but its a bit faulty. Have to agree with the previous poster. You are doing a great and steady progress. Happy to see that my 400th post was in here;) Another thing: All the same in Spain, the big two winning the league. Wonder if someone is going to break their hegemony. Thanks. France is much worse than Spain, Lyon have dominated the league even getting 103 points (out of 114) in one season. Real Madrid did have a rough patch where they dropped out the Champions League but it seems like they have recovered from that.

hrbfcrule
How do you get such good youth intakes?! Kjellman looks like a definite future star! They are only rated highly because it is relative to the rest of the squad. At the moment the squad is pretty poor. I would say a 5 star rating = passable Premier Division player

Unfortunately he wants to be a scout after he stops playing so I probably won't keep him at the club after that.
hrbfcrule
March 2026 League: Vasteras SK 2-1 Tord We played fairly well, probably deserved a point as well but it was not to be. Vasteras took the lead from an own goal just before the hour. We seemed to have rescued a point when Anton Dahlberg (YP30) equalised in the 89th min but they grabbed the winner in the 94th min from the penalty spot. League: Tord 2-2 Gefle We went 1-0 down thanks to us making a slow start but we fought back and Anton Dahlberg (YP30) got an equaliser just before half time. Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) completed the comeback in the 60th min but Gefle levelled in the last 10 mins. A draw was probably a fair outcome. League: Kalmar FF 3-1 Tord After our 1st half display I thought we might be able to get something from this match. Jonas Andersson (YP27) got our goal in the 24th min. But we couldn't repeat the performance in the 2nd half as we conceded a 2nd goal. As we tried to push for a goal we conceded a 3rd which was a tad harsh on us. hrbfcrule
April 2026 League: Tord 0-2 AIK Really unlucky not to get a draw, we generally seem to play alright against AIK but still lose. This time was no different, we played well but a couple of long range efforts were our downfall. League: Elfsborg 0-0 Tord A very end to end bad tempered game. 7 cards in total 5 to them 2 to me but also plenty of chances. Very surprising that it ended goaless and without a single red card. League: Tord 3-1 Trelleborg Our 1st win of the season and it has been a long time in coming. Peter Jansson (YP33) gave us a 1st half lead before Jorgen Melki (YP37) doubled it from the spot just after the break. Trelleborg tried to stage a late comeback by getting a goal back with 10 mins left but less than a minute later Anders Svensson (YP16) restored our 2 goal lead. League: Tord 0-0 IK Sirius Should have won this one comfortably but we wasted our chances. Our home record is letting us down this season so far. League: Orebro 1-3 Tord A good win against struggling Orebro who used to be our parent club once upon a time. We scored 3 in the 1st half which shocked everyone including me. A Hakan Larsson (YP35) brace and another from Peter Jansson (YP33). It looked like we would cruise to victory but Orebro kept us on our toes with a goal of their own just before half time. luckily we held on for another 45 mins for a great win. League: Tord 1-1 Syrianska FC Anders Svensson (YP16) grabbed his 2nd of the season to put us 1-0 up in the 22nd min but we failed to close the game out and were made to pay when Syrianska equalised in the 2nd half. League: IFK Goteborg 1-0 Tord We were terrible for the whole match it's a miracle it stayed just 1-0. I tried to take advantage of their inability to finish off chances by nicking a goal at the end. But that backfired and if it were possible we played even worse than we had been previously. They had atb least 5 or 6 golden opportunities in the final 10 mins after I had switched to a more attacking approach. Also: They have now gone from Basic -> Adequate

hrbfcrule
May 2026 League: Tord 1-0 Djurgarden A close match which we just about edged. Jorgen Melki (YP37) got the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 37th min. Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Hammarby TFF 0-1 Tord Our 1st cup win for 5 years and it couldn't have been scrappier. Just 1 shot on target in the whole game but it was an own goal in the 78th min which sent us through. Our reward for getting through was 4th tier side Rosengard (away of course) and if we get past that it is another away match against either Angelholm or Halmstad. League: Malmo FF 3-0 Tord Got battered not as badly as the IFK Goteborg match. Maybe should have scored a few oursleves here. League: Tord 3-0 Halmstad Was not expecting this against 3rd place Halmstad. Peter Jansson (YP33) scored either side of half time to give us a 2-0 lead before Anders Axelsson (YP20) wrapped thrings up with a 3rd in the 80th min. League: Mjallby 2-1 Tord Another tricky away game which we haven't performed great in but still got a respectable score. Mjallby took an early lead but couldn't kill us off. Simon Berisha (YP31) equalised for us with 15 mins remaining but we failed to hold on and conceded with 10 mins left. League: Tord 2-1 Hammarby Fotboll Our home form is pretty decent this season. Jonas Andersson (YP27) got us off to a great start with a goal in the 6th min then Peter Jansson (YP33) doubled our lead in the 69th min. Hammarby fought back late on and managed to get a goal back via a penalty but we hung on for the win. There are no matches in June due to Internationals. However Niklas Svensson (YP38) has twice played for the U19's this season but hasn't been too impressive. Despite this he has been called up to the U21 squad for a match against Montenegro on the 5th June. Could he be the 1st player from Tord to earn a youth cap (for some reason U19 appearances don't count)

hrbfcrule
A much better month then and gratz on the cup result! Excellent month to bring things back on track! Looking much better then the previous month, also well done on your 1st cup win for 5 years!! Thanks You could keep Karlsson on as a scout to scout your next opponents (that is if you can't convince him to be a coach). Notice he hasn't been scoring as much. Out injured or phasing out? I tried convincing him to be a coach but he was having none of it. I will keep him as a scout as long as he doesn't want too much money. This season he has been doing poorly, at the moment he has 2 goals in 18 appearances so it looks like last season was, unfortunately, a one off. Mjällby in first?!? The game has gone bonkers They're doing alright in my game, they've never been relegated from the Premier Division and they even won it last year I think it's amazing just how far you've taken Tord with only the youth at your disposal. Makes me wish I had stuck with Welsh players in my game. Wonder how far Flamers would get with just Icelanders?? You could do what I attempted to do in fm10 with H+R except with Welsh players. I won the Premiership and Champions League with all nationalities then decided to make the squad all English while bringing in 1 or 2 youth players each year with the intention of slowly making it a squad consisting of players from our own youth set up. @DSYoungEsq Not this far, Icelandic players still suck.. badly... My best youth player to come through as a highest stat of 10... Iceland sucks @RichG After I have won Europe that is my goal You would get there eventually if you used just Icelandic players. I would say roughly on the same timescale as I did it.
hrbfcrule
July 2026 Swedish Cup 4th Round: Rosengard p1-1 Tord Yet another embarrassing result in the cup. We were handed an easy tie even if it was away against 4th tier side Rosengard. The 1st half went to plan as Erik Carlsson (YP41) gave us the lead but we fell apart in the 2nd half allowing them to score. It stayed like this all the way to the end of extra time so penalties it was. Just like the match itself we started well going 3-2 up after 3 penalties each but we then missed our next 3 meaning we lost 4-3 overall. League: Tord 2-0 Vasteras SK We had to wait until late in the game to get the win. Simon Berisha (YP31) netted the 1st in the 70th min before Peter Jansson (YP33) selaed things up in added time. League: Gefle 1-1 Tord Erik Carlsson (YP41) gave us the lead after our strong start but after the goal we played poorly. Gefle were all over us and eventually they got an equaliser. hrbfcrule
August 2026 League: Tord 1-1 Kalmar FF We were outplayed for most of the match but Fredrik Karlsson (YP8) came off the bench to grab a late equaliser for us in the 89th min. League: AIK 4-1 Tord This match was heading towards a disaster when we found ourselves 4-0 down after less than half an hour on the clock. We picked oursleves up well after that but it was obviously too late to do anything about the result. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) did get a consolation for us in the 79th min. League: Tord 2-1 Elfsborg Anders Svensson (YP16) headed home our 1st goal of the match to give us a 1-0 lead going into half time. We threw away all our hard work in the 1st half with some awful defending that allowed Elfsborg to level in the 58th min. Elfsborg's goal gave them the momentum to score another goal that is until they got a straight red in the 72nd min. From then on we were on the front foot and Jonas Andersson (YP27) got the goal we deserved in the 86th min. League: Trelleborg 1-0 Tord Should have got a draw from this but it was not to be. Hopefully it won't matter as it looks like we will be safe this season. League: IK Sirius 0-1 Tord Typical, we played terrible yet we won. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) got the only goal of the game in the 33rd min. IK Sirius should have had at least 3 or 4 goals but their finishing was comical. hrbfcrule
September 2026 League: Syrianska FC 1-1 Tord A very good away point against 3rd place. Syrianska FC took the lead in the 52nd min but Anders Svensson (YP16) headed in our equaliser from a free kick 12 mins later. League: Tord 1-2 IFK Goteborg Anders Svensson (YP16) continued his goalscoring run to give us a shock lead against Goteborg. Unfortunately this didn't last as Goteborg struck back twice to win the game. League: Tord 2-1 Orebro My 500th game in management turned out to be a win . Albeit against relegation threatened Orebro. After a dull 1st half Niclas Carlsson (YP39) scored 14 mins into the 2nd half. Rasmus Svard (YP46) doubled our advantage with his 1st goal of his Tord career. Orebro hit back less than a minute later but their comeback was halted by a red card in the 77th min.
