Slightly off topic.... are you using Newgan for the newgens faces? Some absolute gems there.

I do long term online network saves with a friend every FM & after in the last 5 years 3 of the times I've ended up at Benfica. We started a save in the beta that we've now deleted due to some long term save issues but i went from Bordeaux to Rangers to Sassualo and then ended up at my usual spot with Benfica. Now I know it's my choice to accept the interview and ultimately accept the job but I always sit back and think "here...again!" We've just started a new save, both of us unemployed and I am avoiding Portugal all together this version.

I'm afraid to ask at the risk of disappointment but is an FM23 version on the horizon?

I have no data or such for following, it's just observational opinion from an online network game my friend and i have been playing since the day the beta dropped until yesterday. 15 leagues, database of about 150,000 we started with and yesterday we called it quits as we reached the end of our 7th season. I generally don't pay attention to the hyperbole on the forums when it comes to "bugs" or issues as they generally get smoothed out but the distribution and development of newgens technical stats makes for grim viewing a few season in. We both started to notice, which is partly why I decided to post on it as its unusual for my friend and I to agree on much FM related such is our drastically different approaches. As I said we both noticed some real anomalies with high value newgens getting bought up by "big" clubs with what we would consider terrible stats, we then started looking at all the newgens in the world by descending value as well as those in our own youth teams and it was strikingly apparent they seem to 90-95%(horrible generalisation as it could be more or less) that newgens look to have ridiculous physical & mental stats at the ages of 18,19,20 yet they seem to struggle to have more than stats over 11,12 in the technical side. I'm not sure if this is an issue or not, is this just how FM is now with newgen development or are we suffering from starting our save in the beta and would it look more optimistic should we start a new save(which we're planning to do tonight)? I'm really enjoying FM23, those first 5/6 season were a blast before I started to have concerns...

I'm looking to pull the trigger this week to try and get it before i stop work for the holidays. Anyone have any advise on the above I shared? Hey guys, i this isnt the correct protocol then let me know but I'm about to get myself a new PC and was looking for some advice. I'm terrible with computers, getting the graphics into FM it about my max so I'm looking for something that will run FM like a dream, i want big databases, all the leagues and everything that brings. Is anyone having issues with network games after the update? My friend and started an online gam on the Beta and due to the smoothness of it we continued it through full release and we are still playing it now, no issues pre-update but since we both installed the latest patch I've been getting kicked at least 3-4 times an hour almost. Seems very unstable, both our broadband connections are solid with no drop off. Wondered if anyone else playing a network save is experiencing similar?

I'm game for this to keep me occupied this winter.

Having the exact same issue on a network (not sure if that matters) game in France with Bordeaux, two season in a row I've been able to loan 3 players and after that the option says unable to loan anymore due to having 5 loans per season.

Quater final bound with France I feel being a step too far.

Seen this on another site, it's just one example of course but I'm seeing similar elsewhere... First 4 seasons with Man City in all competitions: Season 1: 195 (Haaland 97) Season 2: over 250 (Haaland 138) Season 3: over 250 (Haaland 129) Season 4: 344 goals (Haaland 194) I'm not saying the game is broken or anything of the sort, it just seems his combination of face stats, physical stats, hidden stats & the mechanic of the match engine are very well suited to each other. More so than players in pervious FM's like those I mentioned. Perhaps it's just me.

I'll be honest and I think SI have bought into the hyperbole of Haaland. What he is doing on peoples saves isn't "normal". We've had FM's with Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Lewandowski, Mbappe & Neymar.... never putting up the numbers like he is doing. Even when he was at Dortmund in FM this wasn't occurring.

Very eager to see France's squad... no Pogba, No Kante... be interested to see how they shape that midfield/front line.

Wee update, in my Network game after departing my Bordeaux side he took his sweet time deciding his next adventure. He had too solid offers from the Bundesliga and the Premier League, Hertha Berlin obviously didn't tickle his fancy so he went back home to England and signed for Everton and immediately became worth £17m-£19.5m.
