Please let us know if you find out. I was never able to restore a corrupted game file but it's been years since it last happened to me. I learned to always have the automatic backup save option on.

It would be nice to have this option. I'd like VAR occasionally, but it comes on way too many times during my matches (maybe 5 to 7 times per game!)!!

Lots of waiting time in general, even when you only load a handful of leagues. Of course, there are a few tips to try to speed up the game. But sluggishness is a major flaw of FM over the years. (I turn on TV, podcasts or YouTube to make better use of my time). No way around it.

Choose a club that is at least two stars higher than your reputation. Demands will be so high you'll beg to get sacked.

This is really awesome. But weren't you approached by much larger clubs inviting you for interviews?... Also, if an obscure club can with the Champions league (I'm not talking about Europa, but Champions), then FM is a bit meaningless, no?... Congrats anyways.

Thanks for your insights. But if mentality is risk, and if there is low-risk attacking and high-risk defending, then SI should call mentality as "risk mentality", and set options as "very high, high, medium, low, very low".

This is exactly what I do, but am not usually happy with what I see... I may just go full on Very Defensive, to park the bus in the very final minutes.

Lower Irish leagues are not available in the official FM22. But you can download the mod made by other gamers. I haven't played Irish lower league mods, but I've played tons of other mods, and they usually (not always) work well. Sponsorship is an area of improvement. Managers are asked so many questions unrelated with the coaching job. why not add sponsorship questions?... I'd love if the board asked for my opinion on sponsorship offers with some pros and cons affecting the game. For example: - "An oil company polluting in Africa is offering $10 million in sponsorship but this will affect the morale of your players from Africa. Proceed or no?". - "Our new sugar daddy connected with a telecom company that wants to sponsor us $1million and will help merch sales in their country. Yes or no?" - "An auto maker wants to invest in our club but demands that you play a striker from their hometown (if you don't, club pays a penalty). Yes or no?"

I saw a couple of famous YouTubers claiming that Defense mentality is a sure way to suffer goals. I must admit I agree with their assessment. Chances are I'll be scored, even against a slightly inferior team. Of course, my tactics is probably set for offensive, but, in general, what are your thoughts on the claim that defensive mentality is underpowered?...

No worries, mate. First time is always the most difficult. I felt like that when I first used the packs too. You need to make sure you find the exact folder paths, and then save the files in there. The videos above will show that. Good luck. I'm sure you'll figure it out... It will be easier when you do it next year.

I'm pretty sure L stands for Latest. These are latest results of matches that are still playing. So, if you saw that screen right after your match, I'd guess those other matches with an L are still playing on extra time.

Agreed. I set 95% of my leagues detail to None (only a few major ones), and i still get only 1 star performance. Am I missing anything?... Thanks!

Just curious, how many months have you played a single save?... Have you ever considered playing a single save until the next FM is launched? I ask because I notice that may saves tend to last two to four months, then I get bored with newgens and start a new save and realize another FM version is around the corner in November. What's your experience with actual months played in a save or over one year edition? Thanks.
