  1. You should double check all the steps and where you placed the correct folders. If everything's on the correct place it should work for you and anyone else.
  2. Whatever you do, don't ever set a "match highest earner" clause
  3. In past years there was some sort of licensing issue blocking maps from the game. But now there are maps in the scouting tabs so I don't know.
  4. Be wary Poacher does not have "run with ball" instructions so you might want to consider an Advanced Forward role instead to take full advantage of a pacy striker
  5. I used it for two seasons in the VNN but it was so hit and miss
  6. From my testing, some of the preset tactics recreate the desired style well enough but don't provide very good results, namely the wing play preset. Vertical tiki taka, gegenpress, and fluid counter attack seem to be the best.
  7. Not considering Mac at the moment, thanks. In terms of integrated graphics drivers, which ones other than the Iris Xe are good enough to run FM smoothly? Also something that would allow a digital pen would be a plus.
  8. @Gangor and @Smurf thanks a lor for your feedback, you definitely mentioned some things I will look for. Basically I use my laptop for low demanding everyday tasks - except when playing FM. That's why I'm looking for a lightweight that can last a long time on battery, for train/plane rides to watch movies. But also still be able to withstand a long term FM career with a big database, even if I only play FM at home so I have the charger plugged in. In terms of GPU from what I've read the Iris Xe is enough for FM so I was looking to avoid the weight , battery, and prices of gaming laptops.
  9. I'm looking for a laptop with good processing to support multiple leagues loaded on FM, but also light on weight and with good battery life. Gaming will be exclusively FM as other games I play on consoles. No other heavy duty usual tasks apart from FM. Usual stuff text, spreadsheets, music library, streaming. If possible recommendations from this website would be appreciated. No budget limitations.
  10. Knockout- only tournaments would be fun but that would mean less matches on TV so won't happen I reckon
  11. Technical are the less important attributes. In lower divisions physicals are the most important, mentals too. Technicals are important when the mentals are good too
  12. In FM I'm enjoying it. In reality maybe it can work but the classic CL groups will be missed.
  13. Your tactic makes sense. I would change one or two TI but it's up to you to see how it plays in the game. Remove "drop off more" as that is counter productive with high press instructions Add "pass into space" and "be more expressive" to ensure your short passing game is not too safe
  14. West Ham // Premier League // 2033/34 end of season After four seasons the philosophy of Wingplay Crossicho has lead him to glory, with West Ham's first ever league title. Also a honourable performance in the Champions League. The FA Cup was once again a disappointment, as was the EFL Cup but that's the last priority. For sure our best season yet but the challenge isn't over, as I still want to win a CL to fully prove that English wingplay is still a possible way of thinking football. The squad rebuilding project that started in the summer of 2030 is almost complete, with the few remaining players from four years ago entering their final years of contract. Some will stay and some will leave, but this squad is fully familiarized with the wingplay style and most of these are top class players. We're not "filthy rich" like some of our rivals but we're working to get there. For now our transfers still need to be for reasonable fees and controlled wages. Our top wage is still under €200k per week which says a lot about our expenses. Clubs like Everton or Newcastle who finished the season struggling against relegation are paying over €350k p/w to their best players.
  15. West Ham // Premier League // May 2034 Oh well, better luck next time I guess. We didn't play that well but we scored first in the most important match of the club's history, but Real Madrid's experience proved key as they scored twice in five minutes after the break and then controlled the events of the match for a cold-blooded 1-2 win. I was on the look for a possible yet unlikely relegation of Everton or Newcastle, who have some interesting players who might have been unhappy with that outcome. West Ham will play the CWC for the first time but it's still three years away. Who knows what happens until then.
  16. Is this my best month ever in a FM save? Probably. 23 goals scored and 0 conceded in six matches including the CL quarters and one semi final.
  17. West Ham // Premier League // April 2034 Is this my best month ever in a FM save? Probably. 23 goals scored and 0 conceded in six matches including the CL quarters and one semi final. In addition, we are champions of England! What a dream campaign this is, with unbelievable results. Usually finishing with 5 draws and 5 losses will be enough or close to winning, but our record is a lot better than that. For the remaining four league matches my goals are to keep the record as best attack and best defence, and keep the players fit for the upcoming CL final.
  18. West Ham // Premier League // March 2034 We did just enough to get by Milan in the CL, however in the league we played very poorly and were lucky to get anything out of the Brighton match, deservedly losing the other two. Fortunately we have a very significant gap and two more wins make the title virtually ours. Definitely a disappointing group of players, maybe Kerry Philip can turn out into a good right winger.
  19. West Ham // Premier League // February 2034 Aston Villa are in the Championship but they outperformed us and knocked us out of the FA Cup way sooner that I had expected. We're having a storming league campaign and one hand is on the title. We play well, and when we don't we still manage to scrape narrow wins. Next month will be heavier on the calendar with the return of the CL knockouts against Milan, and we piled up some injuries in the final days of the month.
  20. West Ham // Premier League // January 2034 New year but the same efficiency. We did enough to win (almost) every match, including important wins over Leicester and Spurs. Also, 10-0 in the CL who does that?! We are fifteen points ahead of another big surprise, Leeds. They're the only team with a better defence than us by one goal; offensively we blow everyone out of the park. I'd say we're very close to a huge upset. A very peaceful league stage, the hard work begins now. The board asked me if I wanted a €30m increase on the transfer budget so I immediately paid €6m for an 18 year-old and hope he turns into a club-grown full member of the main squad.
  21. West Ham // Premier League // December 2033 We scored loads of goals against several opponents but then struggled a lot in the last two games of the month. Also a draw against Lyon in the CL although we're already qualified in the top 24 but I still want top 8. We finally lost in the final match of the calendar year and we play Leicester next. But we have gathered a very impressive points tally in this first half of season. I say we are big title challengers! Machado has arrived from Botafogo after his contract expired. The DoF agreed to his "important player" status which I don't think will happen but nonetheless I very much appreciate his attributes and I count on him performing well whenever he has the chance to play. The youth intake early assessment mentions once again a striker. I'd like to have other positions with good prospects as there are already at least three promising strikers in the U18 squad.
  22. This is the first year I've used 3D regularly and the stadium models are terrible. Player animations are better and more varied but the stadium models are always the same, huge clubs have medium sized stadiums with poor surroundings. Also the crowds look bad as well.
  23. West Ham // Premier League // November 2033 November saw us continue our impressive winning streak, even with four away games including current champions Man Utd. Good stuff. Arsenal were the closest to taking points away from us as they pulled back from a 3-0 to 3-3 but we were able to score one more near the end. Best attack and defence, and a big gap to the rest of the pack. December will be a busy month with seven matches and I want to maintain this point difference from 2nd place.
  24. The thing with adding lots of PI is that you may change the player's role to a point where the attributes the game highlights can be very different to what the role is effectively doing.
  25. West Ham // Premier League // October 2033 Our goals/game ratio increased as the month progressed. We had another two important wins over title contenders Spurs and Liverpool, and also beat Inter in a match played during international break which meant both teams had about half the players unavailable. That Swansea match really was frustrating, otherwise we'd be with a perfect record after 11 matches which is incredible in a league like this.
