But the fact that it actually happens is pleasing. Now that you've seen it, the jeopardy of not picking a sub keeper is there. That pressure isn't there in FM22. Could still do with seeing more handballs from outfield players though. I wait to be corrected on that too!

That's very encouraging to see. That would make you want to put a sub keeper on the bench. I may consider buying FM23 after all!

Do you have Manage English clubs only ticked in the game status section in preferences?

Do goalkeepers ever get injured or sent off in FM23? I have never experienced this in any FM. And are there any handballs given anywhere on the pitch? I'm still playing fm22 and can't recall seeing these happen either.

I've stuck with fm22 and recently found a commentary sound pack. I would prefer no commentary but have now got used to it. But what really enhances the match atmosphere is the improved crowd sounds that have been used. Lots of chants, improved cheers, better referee whistling, and even tannoy announcements. I smiled warmly the first time i heard "Your support is f***ing s**t" bring sung during a match. It really does make a difference

What edition do you refer to? I remember fm12 being like this

What is the default level actually set to? I've never known the answer to this

Polished up yes, but not fixed which is frustrating. Having played this game for 2 decades now I think this has always been an issue with long term saves. Has there been an FM edition that hasn't had the AI not promoting new talent problem?

Blimey, it has been that long since I fiddled around in the editor, I have forgotten the ins and outs of it. I just had a quick play around, and I got into advanced rules for the FCWC by doing this. Once editor loaded, in Database tab, click Competition and select FCWC Then change the Nation to Spain (for this example) Add Nation (eg Spain) Click Add Lower Divisions And Cups to Existing Structure Convert To Advanced Rules In List, you will now see all the Spanish competitions plus the FCWC (there are 2 entries in FM22) Remove all the Spanish competitons leaving just the FCWC file you want to edit Remember to remove the nation and Continent from the database entry of the FCWC that you changed at the start. Save the file and you should now have advanced rules access to the FCWC for you to change what you need to Good Luck.

I won't be doing an FM21 version but you can easily do it yourself. (assuming you have fm22 that is!) If you load the file into the FM22 editor and then literally copy every page of it into the FM21 editor you should get a working version for yourself. I am assuming though you have both copies of the game. It would be time consuming but pretty sure it would be possible.

Yeah, those screenshots are from earlier versions of the game. 22.4 would stop their inclusion. My European file would still include them but that may not be to your fancy as it is the old style European format.

Maybe they'll improve the crowd match day sounds, or is that too much to ask for?

LOL. When I've paid over 2 grand for a pc the least I expect is for them to have lined up all the usb/hdmi/ethernet holes correctly so I could put the cables in to the back of the machine! You're my tech support, this was basic manual handling support! 😀. I bet if I had turned 1 screw on the motherboard I'd have invalidated the warranty!

I'm now in between computers, whereby I had to return my new one that was delivered last week as it wasn't fitted correctly. Very annoying, especially as I had wiped Windows from the pc that I used for the benchmark score I posted above in this thread. I am proudly sitting at the bottom of 2 of the 3 benchmarks I tested!! I upgraded the memory from what i was originally looking at. I went with the 3070ti gpu, and opted for the i712700kf cpu. I have placed my order and am now like a child waiting for Christmas! Happy birthday to me!!!

A few months ago a windows updated got corrupted and refused to update properly. I ended up buying a cheap refurbished hard drive which I now use solely to sit windows on. I had used the windows media creation tool downloaded to a usb stick to do this. Therefore I assume the process would be the same on a different PC. Funny though, I did not have to enter my Windows License key when I went through the windows setup on the new hard drive! I assume once I enter my microsoft username and password during the setup everything sort of links up?
