  1. Presumably he picked Gallagher to take some attention off the absurdity of his CB selections. If "form matters" (re: Abraham), then about half his selections are nonsense.
  2. Some. Time difference will be the main limiting factor. I have some work flexibility, but not that much, also not waking up at 4AM to watch random group stage matches.
  3. Surprising in being realized, not merit. Steffen should've been a near lock for the #1 shirt, but he chose money over football, and now he gets to watch on TV. Will be interesting to see how Slonina's move to Chelsea plays out. Good to see Haji Wright and Josh Sargent play themselves back into the squad. Pepi's move, not surprisingly, backfired. Midfield was incredibly predictable. Backline is a bit of a **** show.
  4. Brutal. If they're not even including him in the squad, then presumably he's expected to be out at least a month. He's only been out that long due to injury once in his career.
  5. They're doing a live TV reveal this afternoon, so...yeah... The big early leak is that Steffen is out. Turner, Horvath, and Johnson are in.
  6. Firmino's exclusion, given form, and redundancy of a few that were selected seems odd. Definitely looks like overkill on the left flank. Pretty questionable at the back.
  7. Not 100%, but I think you can manage in France's 4th tier, if you take over a third tier side that's been relegated. You just can't start there I want to there's another country with a similar setup, Denmark maybe?
  8. France probably would've been my pick a few months back, but don't see them overcoming the injuries. Going with Brazil.
  9. Would echo MLS and Turkey, but the former has been increasingly broken recently. Never get around to Brazil. Maybe this year.
  10. Such a strange question. I think one of FM's biggest selling points is it's very easy to "pick up" and "put down" as time, responsibilities, etc. allow/require. In other words, it fits in around "adult life" better than most games.
  11. I was planning to do an Atalanta save (maybe YA+1) out of the gate, but they've been unexpectedly good, playing a completely different style under Gasperini, so idk. I had an Occitan-restricted Toulouse save in FM22 that I enjoyed quite a bit, so might do something similar this year. Braga or a similar side outside the "big 5." And of course, a journeyman save is always an option.
