    Players nationality dictates whether a WP is needed. Days spent in a country being trained dictates home grown status.

    Open the game normally and at the load game screen, dont select "load last game" but select "load game" and then browse to the Games folder and select the last save overwrite option

    In the drop down menu under the FM logo on the home screen, select Game Status and it is shown there.

    Players will usually get more benefit as the season progresses from a full pre-season routine, so I would just go with your regular pre-season routine and ignore the Club Word Cup

    There should be a file called "last save overwrite backup" in the SI, FM21, Games folder in your Documents folder.

    This has been reported before but appears not to be happening in all saves and just on some of them, so has been hard to reproduce. The last time this happened in my save, I played a load of B team players to keep the first team players free from injury as this will happen if they are unfit going into the game

    Once they reach 29, I will start considering offers and by 31, I will negotiate any that come in. I will also let long serving players run their contracts down at 32/33.

    That should be adequate to run the set up you have, so check what else is running while FM is on and turn off all background apps.

    I would have thought that as long as the players were going into the break in reasonable condition, you would not need to do a pre season set again.

    What are your current machine's specs?

    Depends on how you have saved it on the old machine- if the save is stored in the steam cloud it will be available when you log into steam on the new machine. If you have saved it onto the old machine's hard drive, you will need to transfer it to a usb stick for example and access it from there when you reinstall the game on the new machine.

    Watford FC is a sponsor of SI IRL, so it will probably be hard coded about his love for that club.

    The transfer fee is paid at the date of the transfer, so will not be in your accounts till then.

    Difficult to help without knowing the specs of your computer and how many leagues etc you are running. Slow processing is usually because of a low spec processor or running a database or league setup that is too big for the computer to handle.

    I have always felt that this module is coded in such a way that the board are always looking for something to be unhappy about and go to some lengths sometimes to find it. Whilst it is frustrating, as long as you are winning on the pitch it will have little impact but it does need some tuning IMO.

    I have played a single save for every version now for about 10 years- unfortunately I spend too much time on these forums to give as much time as I would like to playing the game

    Uninstall the skin, clear out the cache and preferences folders and then try again
