We were lucky they got a player sent off but another great result.

We have been doing really well in the Champions League this season with us being unbeaten in the group stages so far.

I think we will beat Brondby but lose to Roma and Real Madrid but never say never this season anything is possible.

Respectable first season in Serie D after winning promotion in first season.  Not happy with losing final 3 games, so some work needed there.  Also, a full 30 points from the single promotion spot means a lot of work ahead.

On a positive note, Perri was a very good acquisition for us.  Alongside Sabba (14 league goals), the team finished 3rd in overall goals scored.

On a negative note, we finished 16th overall in defense.  I know where I need to concentrate in the coming season!

As for the national team, still waiting for our first win in a competitve match.  2024 European International League puts us against Andorra, Faroe Islands, and Latvia.  We drew twice against Faroe Islands in the 2023 Euro's qualifications, so that's likely going to be our best chance for a competitive win.

I managed to get a rare win for the San Marino national team with a 2-0 win vs Azerbaijan.

We won 3-2 on aggregate in the UEFA Nations League Relegation Play Off.

By the way I lost 7-0 to Real Madrid on agg in the Champions League Quarter Finals but to get to the Quarters is an amazing achivement.

Great job!

Hire scouts and have them search the scouting pool for players. best to leave the stars searched at 2 stars maybe for current ability as you won't get a lot of great players at the beginning. You'll be building the team around Nanni, Berardi, Benedettini and Fabbri basically for the first few years.

How do you increase the scouting pool area for the National Team?

Well done!

How are you going about this save, are you signing all nationalities or just Sammarinese players? Some results for the NT, I think I've tried to play too cautiously with them and failed miserably. Well played as you would expect San Marino to play anyway.

@Ronaldo Beckham In 2034 already, damn! Do you have any good players for the national team?

Yeah I blitzed through the seasons as I holiday most of the league games now and just play the Champions League games.

I also holiday in between games as well so I can get a season done very quickly.

The national team doesn't have many good players unfortunately. There is 6 players who have a transfer value. The rest have 0 value so I assume they are all players from the San Marino teams who are part time players.

Here is a screenshot of the squad.

image.thumb.png.b5762a8133b2ff90e5c45c628919d72c.png

The best player is probably my former central defender Jacopo Rossi who I sold for £14k to Sampdoria but the club gets 50% of the next transfer fee.

Hopefully he gets a transfer to a big club eventually. He is currently on loan at Botev Plovdiv.

My tactic is pretty positive, we press high but my defensive line drops off more often so we're solid at the back. I am only signing San Marinese players, no foreign.

We have had 10.1k more social media followers. We now have 58k followers and we have 369 season ticket holders.

If I ever win the Champions League with FC Domagnano what I am thinking of doing after that is basically trying to buy a player from each San Marino team for £5m each and then whichever San Marino league team comes available I will become their manager and try build another San Marino league team and then just keep repeating the process to the point where every San Marino team is profressional, has loads of money etc.

It will take me probably a long time to do it but I am up for the challenge.

Champions League Journey So Far

image.thumb.png.dfaf117c2a0524a79f8ba60faf113f75.png

I swear we play CFR Cluj every season lol. Anyway a nice easy qualifying route to the groups.

image.thumb.png.133686ab26634473d9c07cf89a1a29b9.png

My group games all look very difficult with Maribor and maybe Hoffenheim being the clear winnable games. The rest will be difficult and we might struggle to do what we did last season but I will try to stay positive.

I was also able to get a nice win for San Marino Vs Estonia.

Here is the recap for my Season 1 2022/2023

We won the League, by one point cause we almost bottled it in the end. But went out in the Cup Semifinal against Tre Fiori.

188273681_TabelleLiga.thumb.jpg.bf5c99e07332d83c5313d27247c6e937.jpg

So Cosmos and Tre Fiori join us on our first trip to europe

747804434_CoppaTitano.thumb.jpg.455d3a52eb156f37fed76bdb633a3552.jpg

The Coppa Titano wasnt our best this year... we started with a 6-0 against Cosmos and lost the first leg in the quarterfinal against Domagnano 2-4 but turned it araound. Tre Fiori killed our run in the end in both matches we had struggeld to convert our chances

Comming to the Players of the Season

Goalgetter.thumb.jpg.a6543a4159bcfa01418655fec2778d64.jpg

Mattia Picone was our mainstriker in the 4-1-1-3-1 and our top goalscorrer. We picked him up as a free agent, not the best man but decent enough... Stats are sorted like in the english version

Assists.thumb.jpg.748c3cd48b2cb34274578d92dc600584.jpg

Another Guy i want to highlight is Simone Manchini as our CAM producing some good chances and providing the most assists in the team - he was also a free agent

SM-Spieler.thumb.jpg.1e61c73410fbd2f45275312be62ffdee.jpg

Mattia Pasolini was the most used Player from San Marino  to obey the rule of having at least one player on the pitch - We started with Giacomo Conti nut he left us. So i brought him in and i'm looking to replace him but right now i only had three Players from San Marino.

Here we have the best Player of this years Youth Intake

1694065997_BesterRegen.thumb.jpg.f1b4eb0417d68edc45e8ac4a0ea43dcb.jpg

I want to end the recap with the international results from '22 - we managed to win atleast one match in the UEFA Nations Leaguie D

First National team win just slipped thru my fingers.  Andorra scored in 63rd on a direct free kick from 25 yards or so.    2 Draws now to open the 2024 European League Div D season (Drew 0-0 vs Faroe Islands).  Might be just enough points to move us up one spot from 210th.  Latvia up next, hoping to grab a win then.

Nanni also broke the national team goalscoring record, sitting now on 9 international goals.

edit:  Also, moved up 1 spot to 209th!  need a good 35 points or so to move up another spot tho.... going to be a while if I don't start turning draws into wins!

Pay attention to coach reports from your national team coaching pool.  I'm constantly having my NT AssMan give me reports on players ---- then on their scouting card there is a tickbox to add them to the national pool.

And if your club team finds any qualifying players, you can open the player profile, go to the national team dropdown menu, and add them to the national pool that way too.

FC Domagnano/San Marino Season 13 Review

In the Champions League we managed to get a few victories over Ajax, Maribor and Hoffenheim and even got a point each against RB Leipzig and FC Porto but ultimately we lost against the bigger teams of Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Liverpool.

We then got pitted against Dortmund in the Knockout Play Offs and we lost both legs to a much better team.

We were unable to equal or better our Champions League heroics of last season.

Hopefully next season we will do better.

Players

Junior Ayuk
