I downloaded a Database that leaves the original UCL format, I didn't like the new format.

Yeah the new format is **** from my perspective as a fan of a smaller club what will lead to an even bigger devide between the rich and corrupt clubs and the smaller ones.

Is there any issue with club Reputation in this FM ?

Currently managing Virtus, I'm stuck at around 2000 reputation. It's been 6 years I am each season in Europa/EUCL, winning vs 6/7k reputation clubs (Last Season I won vs Bratislava, Kobenhavn, Bodo/Glimt and drawed vs Tottenham and Napoli)

I also bought big reputation players, such as Kovacic, but I can't go over 2100 rep.

In addition, I lost 4-3 vs Young Boys (7k rep,not a bad result for a 2k rep club) and lost 200 rep...

Quick update

This year I wont post uptades of all seasons but from time to time

I am now done with the first three years we won 3x the league, 2x the cup and 2x the supercup. After the second season we turned professional. The best player I signed so far is Leo - I love him, he isnt the best but the best in San Marino

So I have been doing a build a nation San Marino save… I’m 4 seasons and the club I was with we won 3 league titles out of 4 but have the worst youth ratings ever.. the board won’t improve it.. so after year 4 I said I had enough and went to another club in the same country to see if I can get this club up to the top and get some better youths.. how do you improve ur club through the youth if your board don’t allow u to improve ur crappy youth coaching, facilities etc..

I use my DOF for suggestions and pick up some young italian prospects without a club until I become a professional club... after this i use my scouting network... right now I'm in 2031/32 won 8/8 League titles 7/8 Cups and 8/8 Supercopas and we got 30m in the bank. I convinced the board to upgrade recruitment and juniorcoaching to maximum but right now we are stuck with 4/10 youth facilities but we have 7/10 training facilities... but after some time my intakes get a bit better... the players wont play for me but have like 2.5 star potential and move on to other clubs in the league

It's been a bit since the last update, mainly because I've been chugging along with little to update.  We missed out on our chance of making the first European Championship in 2049 when we qualified for the Euro Championship qualifying playoff via our position in the nations' league --- something I wasn't really aware of.  After finishing 4th in our actual qualifying league group I figured it was over for the year.

However, we did qualify, and managed to win our first match vs 89th (ish) ranked Finland with a fine 3-1 win.  However, the step up to 53rd ranked Serbia proved just a bit too much, and we succumbed to a 3-2 loss to end our first bid for actual Euro Championship football----for the time.

We then went 2-4 in Nations League B division to get relegated back to Div C in the next cycle.

Now, however, we have a sniff of something special:

image.thumb.png.7ea4ef62cf0048424c69860d8736a282.png

We're not quite there, with both Germany and Czech ahead to face...but we are already at our best ever spot in qualifications for a major tournament.  A win in the next match vs Czech republic would go very far towards that goal; however, even a draw would be satisfactory against the 31st ranked team.  Germany at the end of the cycle might be the key; if we can get a draw there and Czech loses to Germany in their 2nd meeting, we then have a chance.

And finally, I can update the table (correct it) below, as we have finally beat a top-50 team (again, no idea what I was thinking when I added the achievement with a....62nd ranked notification!  But, in our Nations League B of 2048, We did beat Sweden (38) for what appears to be our first top-50 win (we also topped that knocking off Romania 1-0 in the same group).

We're also edging closer to a top-100 spot in World Rankings --- 109th after the last WC qualifying series; a decent result against Czech should move us up even further; a solid win might be enough to move us all the way to the top 100.  We'll see how that goes!

Quick update:  a 1-1 draw vs Czech with both sides missing golden opportunities for the win (Czech striker hit BOTH posts on one late shot before we cleared our lines) leaves us in this position with 2 to play (and moves us to 106th in world rankings).  We're not out of it, but with Germany yet to come in our final match (Czech has already played Germany twice), it's not likely we'll advance this year.  Still, major progress, and the best showing we've had yet in any qualifying series.

Massive, massive result!

image.png.1a844374234bc57a5152ac9f16178fa6.png

9th place Germany fails to score, and our one shot on target finds the net!

The finish puts us 2nd in WC qualifying to end the 2049 qualifying run (a 2nd place playoff to make the WC proper I think?)

We move up 5 spots to 101st in world rankings as well.

It took a long time, but as of 23 Mar 2050, after a 1-0 win in a friendly vs North Macedonia (103/4th)

We may not stay top 100 for long with another friendly vs 14th Holland immediately after, but we're here for a few days at least!

The distant future, the year 2053,
The world is quite different ever since the rise of Tre Penne in the early fourties.
There is no more unhappines.
We no longer rely on Andy Selva,
Instead we have uni-browed newgens.
Finally, San Marino rule the world!

Or well, that last bit might be a bit of an exaggeration. But we're making progress for sure. After going through the divisions and establishing Victor as the strongest club in Italy, Mikel Arteta och and then Eric Garcia continued the work. They now regularly produce decent players for our national team.

I moved on to the Campionato Sammarinese and Tre Penne. We're now able to compete with the very best but are yet to produce anything more usable for the national side.

The rest of the clubs in the league are struggling a bit to keep up, but the reputation is steadily growing.

The national team is now a force to be reckoned with, we qualified for Euro 2052 and made it out of a group of Italy, Serbia and Ireland. Unfortunately we missed out of the World cup by almost the smallest marigin possible...

Skrmbild2024-03-01171759.png.75d9157817b0259d7bcecfe7045167c6.png

The core of the team is our first generation of players that are actually any good and they're still young. Best of the bunch is the physical monster that is Mattia Cesarini! With him we keep rising on the world ranking.

Finally, the two traitors who despite growing up as sanmarinese opted to play for Italy. Let's hope there won't be any more of their kind.

Will be trying my own San Marino save (Just testing a few files)

- 2 Division San Marino Setup

- Expanded Italian Cup (So Victor San Marino can enter)

- A Cup with some high profile San Marino sides plus Rimini and Victor San Marino

- Decreased citizenship to 5 years

Will start off with a Sammarinese side in my 2nd tier. Will write a bit about it on this thread once the files have been tested to how i want it

3 Sanmarinese clubs in the quarterfinals of the Champions League :D And either Tre Penne or San Giovanni will go to the semi final

This is brilliant! great dedication to the save and seems to be going really well.
