Ronaldo Beckham Posted December 11, 2022 Share Posted December 11, 2022 And ........ New Champions League Winners FC Domagnano I can't actually believe I have done this. Every game in the knockouts I thought our luck would be up and we would get destroyed but we somehow kept winning and in the Champions League final we thrashed scummy Liverpool 5-1. Crazy. We were unbeaten in the qualification phase and then we lost to Chelsea in our first group game and i just thought this aint our year again but we then went on and didn't lose a single game in the group stages. We then beat Juventus on penalties after we were 2-2 on aggrgate. I thought there is no way this is going to get better after beating Juventus on penalties. We come across a very strong PSG team in the Quarters and we surprised them with a 3-2 win in Paris and then we drew 2-2 on the home leg to edge past them. I was buzzing after this result as I knew we equalled our best Champions League finish from 2 seasons a go. I didn't think much when I knew we were pitted against Real Madrid in the Semi's. We managed to this time get a 3-2 home win and then in the away leg we squeezed a 1-1 draw out of them. Champions League Journey The reason I took on this challenge as it really is the hardest challenge to do and I am so happy I managed to do this challenge. I never expected to do it. I thought I would of given up if I hadn't got anywhere with a few weeks but every season that has gone on it has been really enjoyable and I feel like this is my best achievement ever on Football Manager. We have made history for the club and the nation of San Marino. We managed to win not only the League, Domestic Cup but also the Europeon Champions League. A great achievment for our club. Another league title was won and then we went on to win the Copa Titano cup again with a 3-0 win Vs Tre Penne Players Domenico Calvia AKA Mr.Goal Machine Calvia was amazing again and he also destroyed the Champions League with 16 goals and got 49 goals for the season overall. A very big reason why we were so successful. Alexandru Popescu Another big reason for our succesful season was Popescu who got 39 goals and 30 assists which is just crazy. He also was our average highest rating of 8.08. What a great player. Our Best Overall 11 Player Accolades Popescu got our Player Of The Season and Daniel Dias got the Young Player Of The Season. Supporters Profile Hardcore down but replaced with more Fairweather fans. Our social media followers went up massively with us now having 185.4k followers which is up 62.4k from last season. We now have 515 season ticket holders as well. The board have decided to enlarge the stadium again which is great to see. The more fans that come the better. We are now slightly better then the Scottish Championship lol. FC Domagnano have risen up the club rankings going up 9 places to become the 18th best team in Europe. We have gone up 6 places to 17th in the Europeon Coefficients. Now what do I do to help the San Marino national team? Well what I am going to do is use the money I have accumalated with FC Domagnano and help the other teams in San Marino by buying their players to give them money to turn profressional. I will also look to take over Victor San Marino as soon as they become available. I can't see the Victor San Marino job becoming available any time soon though as their manager's job is secure. I will keep you posted. Most of my updates now will be about the San Marino National team until I get the Victor San Marino job. We managed to beat Bayern Munich 3-1 in the final in extra time. Calvia was our joint top goalscorer with fellow striker Kelvin Rashid with them both hitting 28 goals each. Best Overall 11 Player Accolades Calvia wins the Player Of The Season. Kelvin Rashid wins the Young Player Of The Season. Supporter Profile Hardcore, Family and Corporate down but we increase Casual and Fair Weather. Our social media followers have massively jumped with us increasing them by 218.8k giving us a 654.5k followers now. FC Domagnano have moved up 11 places to 7th best team in Europe now. San Marino have moved up 4 places to 13th position in the Europeon nations coefficients table. It means more Europeon places for San Marino teams moving forward which is great for the nation and the national team. I've got one in the downloads forum with an external link, the extra Euro qualifiers come from the playoffs too like IRL. @Ronaldo Beckham this whole thread is brilliant, the stuff FM dreams are made of, lol. So Tre Penne and Tre Fiori will support my push for europe Coming in my players of the season Matteo La Torre was by far my best goalscorrer and secured us many points hopefully i can keep this former free agent at the club During the Season the San Marino Legend Filippo Berardi joint San Giovanni as a free agent. He instantly went on to besome the player with the most assists during the season. He also was the most used Sanmarinese player. Filippo Tosi is my most used regen so far and shares his position with Filippo Berardi. This years youthintake was pitty so we signed only one of them Our European Journey was short but we get some points for the 5-year ratings. My San Marino had anotther horrible and dire year. My U-19 Internationals are doing fairly well, but my U21s are doing terribly. Might bypass an entire class of Sanmarinese and tap directly into that younger generation! We won everything this season with us winnin the UEFA Super Cup as well as the League and Cup double. Players Kelvin Rashid was amazing this season with 61 goals and 11 assists. He is also banging them in for the Tanzanian national team and Tanzania managed to qualify for the World Cup which is nice to see. Calvia had another good season with 19 goals and 23 assists. I feel like his best years are behind him but he is a legend and deserves to stay as long as he wants. Calvia and Rashid join me as Club Legends. I will look to bring Calvia back in a backroom role down the road. Best Overall 11 Player Accolades Supporter Profile Lots of positives to come from this. Core and Fair Weather fans increase, More season ticket holders and our social media followers going up to 1.5 million now. San Marino National Team Some nice progress with the San Marino national team with us getting 3 wins and 2 draws in the World Cup Qualifying. All of these teams are now Professional which will help in the long run. Every team in San Marino are now Professional teams and that will help the National Team in the long run. Is it possible to create reserve/II team? The only thing I could do was ask for an Under 19's team once I become Professional but I haven't had the option to ask for a reserve team yet. Winner of play-off European Conference League. But what about the 3e ticket does it goes to the one that play the final of the play-off? or does is goes to the highest place in the league? Because i win the league en the Cup and saw that the team that was 3e place gets the ticket not the one that played in the final of the play-off? I have left them in a very good financial position and also a great squad that will dominate domestically. I have also pumped into the other San Marino clubs many millions to help them advance. I am hoping during my abscence there will be some good San Marino players that come through. What was the reason you ask why I resigned now? This is the reason. Time to take over Italy. The best form of defence is attack. Supporter Profile We will be focusing on mostly using our youth academy and sigining San Marino players. Always looking at sending money to San Marino but that wont be for a few seasons. The main aim is to get promoted to Seria A as quickly as possible and keep within the wage budget. Finances are not good so we will be looking to not make many signings until we stabilize the bank balance. It did help that when I took over Victor were 2nd in the league. The team managed to take well to my tactic and ended up clinching promotion as champions. Players Garavini was our best overall player with 9 goals and he had the best average rating as well. We need to get a better striker if he are to do well in Seria C. With us getting promoted we are able to turn professional. Best Overall 11 Player Accolades Supporter Profile Family and Hardcore are down. Fair Weather and Core are up. Slight increase in Social Media followers with us having 5.6k now. We are renting the Tre Penne stadium as our stadium Acquaviva does not meet Serie C minimum requirements. They got knocked out of the group stages in the Champions League though. Tre Fiori managed to win in the Europa League play offs but didn't win a single game in the group stage. Still slight progress though which is good. La Fiorita failed to win in the play offs. AC Libertas also failed to win in the Europa Conference play offs.
