We scored eight goals less than last season, but on the other hand we conceded nine goals less as well, so we ended up with a GD of 80, one better than last season! Molde beat us in the second to last game, but the league was already won by then, and we had a couple of more important matches to play. But we have to keep this up, as Molde and Rosenborg are spending a lot of money at the moment. For the first time since pur first season in the Eliteserien we have won the Norwegian Cup as well! Attributes in all the right places! The "Knocks the ball past opponents" sounds scary for a CB though... If we ever have to sell Tommy Karim, this guy looks ready to take his place! I said that top two was possible, but I did not believe we would win the group, and even going unbeaten! And with the most goals scored of all the teams in the CL, as well. Warg92 Posted December 16, 2021 Author Share Posted December 16, 2021 Champions League 2043/2044 After our win in the group stages we were drawn against Club Atlético de Madrid in the first knockout round! Surprisingly we were the best team in both these games, and there could have been more goals. For us and for them to be honest. It ended up with us winning 5-2 on aggregate. Next up, FC Internazionale Milano. What a game we had in the first tie! We were all over them, and even missed a penalty! The second game was the exact opposite, as they had all the chances. Tommy Karim (YP19c) had an awesome game though, and ended it with a 8.1 rating! That was the main reason we did not lose the game. Next up, Paris Saint-Germain FC. We have faced PSG twice before, back in 2042, and we lost those games 2-3 and 1-2. Not losing more than 0-1 in that first game was an achievement in itself to be honest, as it could have gone much worse. In the second tie we took the lead after only eight minutes. They had a goal disallowed in the second half but other than that we held on all the way to extra time. This time we scored after just two minutes, and that meant that we would be the winners. But in the 107th minute they scored, and it went to penalties. We won the penalty shoot out, and we were ready for Champions League final! Incredible! In the final we faced A.C. Milan. We could not do that much in the final and in the end we only had one shot on goal. But, they needed a penalty to score a goal, so we defended well, even though they had eight shots on goal. I am very, very happy with how we did in the CL this season, and we performed way better than anticipated. That is the fourth time in a row they have won it. We even had a player in the dream XI. That is good, but the best news is yet to come! I have to pay way, way, waaaay to much too keep him here, but we have so much money (around 145million) at the moment so it's all good! And he is still not the best paid player in the league, as Molde pay their start player 49,5k a week. We pay him 40k more than the next player though. And now for something completely different. This time it was Manchester City. A team that finished second in the league behind Aston Villa (!!!) this season. We were absolutely brilliant in the first game, and should have won it to be fair. They only had three shots on goal and scored two of those. That being said, the second game was the entire opposite, and we were lucky. But, we managed to win 4-3 on aggregate, so I am happy! Next up, Juventus FC. The first game was perhaps the best game of the entire save, as we were all over them from the start, and again, should have scored more goals. They had two shots the entire game, and we had 30! We were brilliant the second game as well, but allowed them to have more chances. In the end we won 4-0! Next up we faced the team that beat us in the CL final last season, A.C. Milan. We were lucky in the first game and won 1-0. Tommy Karim, our GK, ended the game with a 9.1 rating. The second game I don't want to talk about... A.C. Milan won the whole thing in the end, beating PSG in the final, 1-0. Norwegian Teams In Europe. Warg92 Posted December 19, 2021 Author Share Posted December 19, 2021 (edited) FIFA Club World Cup 2045 After playing in the CL final last season we got a place in the FIFA World Cup. That is of course the first time we had a opportunity to play in the Cup. And it was actually held in Norway! In the group stage we faced Atlanta United FC and Kawasaki Frontale. No problem in the group stage, and we were through to the next round. There we faced Clube Atlético Mineiro from Brazil. We almost got FM'd in this game. 48 shots in total, 15 on goal, and they still managed to hold on until the 109th minute! Next up, A.C. Milan, the team that beat us 1-6 last time we faced, just 1.5 month ago. But this time we got our revenge, and beat them 3-2! That meant that we were in the final, where we would face PSG. This is the fourth time we're in a final outside of Norway, and we have yet to win anything. But this time we did it! We're actually World Champions! The two last games we beat the two finalists in the Champions League, so that's an achievement in itself! That is six times in seven seasons for us. This was the closest one I think, and I thought we had to win every game all the way to the end. We scored a record 108 goals this season as well! And another thing, we did not lose a single game this season, but at the other end of the table, Fredrikstad finish the season without winning a game. I guess that is a record in itself.
