Green has alwyas been the home colour of Kautokeino, so I can't change that, but the away kit will have new colours. And both of the kits have gold details! Three games was in the ECII, that is why you don't see them here. Thankfully we had two NM games against lower league teams, so I could rest my best players. Warg92 Posted December 1, 2021 Author Share Posted December 1, 2021 2038/2039 Euro Cup II After winning our group we did not have to play the first first knockout round. So this is the second round. First up we faced AS Saint-Etienne, from France. They finised 10th in Ligue 1 this season. It was two very high scoring games! 4-4, and 5-4! Next up, Rosenborg, from our own league! We were the best team in the first game, and could have scored more goals. The next game was the exact opposite, as Rosenborg should have won this one. But in the end we won it 4-2 on aggregate. Next up, Hannover from Germany! In the first game we were the best team, and again, should have scored more goals. It was the away game, so I thought that the second game should be no problem, as it was in Norway. Boy, was I wrong. We were absolutely destroyed. We went in to break at 2-1 up, and 4-1 on aggregate. I used the "Don't get complacent" team talk and everything went to ****... We conceded 6 goals in the second half, something I believe I've never experienced in any FM. We had no problems qualifying to the group stages of the ECII. The first game against Domzale was a little bit one sided. We should at least finish top two in this group! The last team is AA Gent. And it being in the last hour of the window, I had no time to protest the transfer, let alone negotiate a better deal... On the other hand, I can now afford to buy back both of the players we've sold for big money earlier *EDIT* He made his international debut three days later in a 1-1 draw to Slovenia. We have Odd, Fredrikstad and Raufoss the next three games. We should be able to win all of them! Tor Rødland (YP17a) is the latest player to join the national team. He is only 17 years old! But it looks good. The Goalkeeper position is probably the biggest concern as of now, so if we get one in the next intake it would be great! We did it in only the fifth season after the promotion to the top division. It was an all round incredible season, with 76 goals scored and actually only conceding 24 goals. Gracjan Kwiatowski (YP14e) was on fire, and ended the season with 42 goals! Next year we will play with the big boys in the Champions League! The main goal will be to win the league for another season, it will be tough, but possible. Europa Conference League 2039/2040 We won our group in the Conference League as well, after beating Cagliari 2-1 in the last game of the group. Ulf Räikkiönen (YP13a) He has made the goalkeeper position for the national team his, and has 33 caps as a 21 year old! Is wanted by Leeds and Wolverhampton at the moment. As well as two decent looking strikers. You know what? He does not look that good after a second look at him. I have a sweeper keeper in mye tactic, and he's missing a lot of thing needed for one of those. He has the technique and vision of a brick wall. Mesterfinalen I did not care about at all, so I rested the entire squad. Only players from the 2nd team and u18 played. So a 0-1 defeat was actually very good! Warg92 Posted December 4, 2021 Author Share Posted December 4, 2021 UEFA Europa Conference League 2039/2040 We finished on top of our group this year as well, and with out first place we got a spot in the second knockout round. We actually faced Cagliari Calcio, the team that we finished above in our group! The first game was close, and could have gone either way, even if we won. In the second game we were in control from the start, even if we struggled to find the net. We ended up winning 4-1. 6-2 in total. Next up, Sevilla FC. They had a sub par season in La Liga, and ended up 12th! In the first game they were all over us, and could have scored more goals. We could have scored more as well, but all in all a fair result. But we destroyed them in the second game, beating them 4-0! Only two more games, and we could be in the final! Bodø/Glimt was the next team we would play against. The closest thing we can get to a local derby in the top league of Norway! We should have scored a lot more goals over these two games, as we had 28 shots on goal in total! But at least we won the tie. So, who did we face in the final? TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is the answer. The Germans did not have a good season, and were actually closer to the relegation spots than the Conference League places. But, they still have a lot of good players! We started the game well, and scored the first goal. But after around 30 minutes they started to show the quality they possess in the team, and pushed us back. We held on for a long time, but in the end, they scored two pretty late goals and ended our title hopes. Where is he now ? I looked for him but could not find him, which is weird, as he played a lot of games for us. But after a look at our "Best of the xx Season team" I saw a name I did not recognise, Wazani. It turns out this is him, and he has either changed name in-game, after he retired, something I find very unlikely. Or it is a bug. After the draw against Raufoss we had to win the last game against Rosenborg, and thankfully we did. Norway now has three teams qualified for the Champions League. And I said earlier that Molde was in the hardest group. Well, they managed to qualify for the knockout rounds! UEFA Europa League Rosenborg ended up finishing second in their Europa League group. Bodø/Glimt qualified as well. UEFA Europa Conference League Stabæk had no problems finishing first. Vålerenga finished second, behind OFI Crete, from Greece. He has played almost 50% of the games for Nantes so far this season. They are struggling in the bottom three in Ligue 1. Ulf Räikkiönen (YP13a) Has only played 9 games for Watford this season, due to a torn hamstring. Is currently wanted by Hoffenheim, Valencia and West Brom. Stian Østby (YP15a) Has not been on fire after the transfer to Porto, but has scored eight goals and has five assists in the league. *EDIT* I will also add this transfer. Warg92 Posted December 6, 2021 Author Share Posted December 6, 2021 UEFA Europa League 2040/2041 After our third place in the Champions League, we got to the EL knockout stages. The first team we faced was Sporting Clube de Portugal. We were amazing the first game, and won it 6-0! I rotated slightly more than I maybe should have done in the second game, and I got a bit nervous towards the end of the game. But at least we won the tie! Next up, West Ham United. A team that finished 11th this season in the Premier League. Two pretty close games, but we won it after scoring four of our five goals late in the games. These games could have either way, and we're probably lucky to be the team that goes to the next round. In the next round we will be facing FC Bayern München. They have won the Bundesliga 18 out of 20 times since I started this save. Five times in a row at the moment. And Pep Guardiola is back as the boss. And this was a step too far for us. Even though we had the bext xG (I don't know how to be honest) in the first game they were the best team overall. In the second game they really showed us the level they're at, and could have scored a couple more goals. At least we did not get completely destroyed! Norwegians Teams In Europe Molde Real Madrid ended up winning they whole thing, and by doing that they ended a five (!) year winning run by Arsenal!
