Eight out of nine draws was in the second half of the season, and that is of course the main reason we finished 4th. But even though we finished 4th we scored the mos goals, and conceded only 16... Warg92 Posted December 7, 2021 Author Share Posted December 7, 2021 (edited) Champions League 2041/2042 I was very disappointed with our league performance this season, but quite the opposite in the Champions League as we actually finish the group stage as winners! We still had a lot of draws, but this is a slightly higher level than the Norwegian top league! Norwegian Teams in Europe Rosenborg Brann Bodø/Glimt Molde Stabæk Not as good this season for the Norwegian teams. But we have at least two teams finishing in top two, us and Stabæk. I wanted to bring him back to the club, but he wants more wage than our entire squad has at the moment. Ulf Räikkiönen (YP13a) Finally got his big away from Watford, and ended up in Dortmund, where he has played 14 out of 17 league games. Dortmund is actually league leaders at this time. His value has skyrocketed as well! Stian Østby (YP15a) One of the most important players for Porto. A Porto team that has won the leauge five years in row. Warg92 Posted December 10, 2021 Author Share Posted December 10, 2021 Champions League 2041/2042 We were really up against it in this tie as we faced Paris Saint-Germain FC, one of the favorites to win the whole thing. PSG's star player earns more in two months that our entire wage budget over the whole season! And it was a lot closer than anyone could have guessed! We were even up 2-0 in the first game, but then PSG shifted in to another gear in the second half, and scored three pretty quick goals. In the second game they were better from the start and deserved the win. In the end we lost 3-5 on aggregate. PSG went all the to the final, where they lost 2-1 against AC Milan. Norwegian Teams In Europe. Rosenborg Stabæk All in all this was not a good season for Norwegian football. I hope we won't suffer for it in the league rankings. Beating Brazil and Spain with three goals is great! They were quite lucky in the final though. Tor Rødland (YP17a) and Pål Hagen (YP13b) played the entire final, while Tommy Karim (YP19c) and Pål Even Sandberg (YP13c) was on the bench. Ulf Räikkiönen (YP13a) would most likely have been the starting GK for Norway, but he has damaged cruciate ligaments, and is out for 5-6 more months. I'm honestly not doing anything special. All the training I have left for my ass.man, and I rarely assign additional focus to any players. I train players in the position they have in my tactic, for example Inverted Winger and Advanced Forward. I believe that the more they play, the better they get. After only playing one game last season he has 15 games this season. Ulf Räikkiönen (YP13a) He started the season bad, and it got even worse when he was injured with damaged cruciate ligaments. He has just returned to full training this January. Stian Østby (YP15a) One of the heroes from the World Cup win! He is doing okay for Porto, but not setting the world on fire. In the first game we were lucky, really lucky, as they had 17 shots on goal! Tommy Karim, our GK, ended the game with a 8.8 rating. In the end it finished 3-2 to them. In the second game we were the best team from the start, and even when they scored a penalty I had high hopes for us to win the game. And that is what we did, beating them 3-1, thus making it 5-4 on aggregate. Next up we were drawn against Chelsea! The first game was pretty close, and could have gone either way, but in the end, they won. The second game we had nothing really, and was not really that close to a scoring a goal at all. It is a long time since we did not hit the target in a match. Chelsea won the whole thing. Norwegian Teams In Europe Molde Rosenborg Bodø/Glimt Bodø/Glimt won the UEFA Europa Conference League! We have a game in hand though, so it should be good! We've also had a perfect start in Champions League, with two wins. The game against Arsenal was probably the game of the save so far, as we beat them 2-0.
