Great work on the title and making the Europa group mate, it shows your hard work is starting to pay off now :)

Thanks buddy, we're indeed making great strides

It seems like Zalgiris and us may be competing for title in alternate years, as group stages are taking a lot out of this squad.

The other concern is replacing the generations.  The old guard is falling away at 20-22 and I can't even tutor young geniuses much.

November 2028

Once again we broke our call-up record, with 15 of our finest representing Lithuania during the international break.

In competitions, there is a tale of two storylines.  My first squad has been excellent in Europe in all honesty, grabbing two away wins in a row.  Domestic second string, not so hot. We shipped 3 goals in opening 15 minutes against both Suduva and Zalgiris and you don't recover from those, I am afraid :(

Overall, it's a very mixed bag.  We have qualified from our Europa League group, emulating Zalgiris team from 5-6 years ago but domestically we have been very poor.  We're just a point off the relegation play-off and Zalgiris is 13 points away at the top.  Not even they can throw such a lead.  In the cup we'll be facing lower division Silute, so at least that is some good news.

It's the long term that counts. It sucks to be this low in the league, but the EL money gives you a bigger boost for years to come than one championship. As long as you manage to qualify for the EL, you should be ok.

Couldn't have put it better myself.  Interestingly enough, going far in EL has boosted the club rep a lot as well.  I think at this point I could even survive not qualifying for the group for another couple of years.

December 2028

First things first, shout out to my nemesis at Zalgiris, they keep pumping money in facilities making this save far more difficult than I thought it would have been.

624090_20180603124119_1.thumb.png.56aa499cf26e034d6e69c1b2e317f15e.png

Back to the club affairs, I could not negotiate a new contract with my star centreback, so he's dropping down a division instead.,  If that's what moving to a bigger team means, I don't even know what I am doing in Kretinga then.

624090_20180603114939_1.thumb.png.23187a23625ebaed02b073d12d0f9cda.png

Competition-wise we had a solid month, ground out 3 wins in domestic league sandwiched with a very entertaining loss to Everton where game could have easily ended 5-8.

624090_20180603121550_1.thumb.png.32e3aac8cf2e2179b24f0693cc0c405b.png

Most importantly, that win against Basel last month was enough to get out of the group in P2.  In the next round we'll be facing...

624090_20180603112336_1.thumb.png.cb813dcf1c9483452f8ac88d1c01e40b.png

With those 3 wins, we're picking up some form in the league, back in continental places but Zalgiris is still 10 points away at the top.  I don't think we'll be able to bridge the gap without them collapsing hard at some point.  In the cup, we'll be facing lower division Silute and Malaga is the opponent for the Europa League, should be a fun spring :)

January 2029

You know, it's winter break time when the only news is improvements to data analysis facilities.  Oh and my captain wants to leave, so I just triggered the contract extension instead :herman:

February 2029

Speaking of other bald frauds, Pep had retired back in 2024 as well, bit unexpected, though his career arc went weird after leaving Man City in 2018

624090_20180603150557_1.thumb.png.cdcb0a7a30c1e6d2ee18f8b5d5239858.png

However, I am still going strong and celebrated my 400th appearance at the helm of Kretingos Grūdai.  4 league titles, 2 cups and 3 promotions.  Doing okay in 9.5 seasons so far.

624090_20180603163022_1.thumb.png.e8884d8670f1d5e03c28930848a0303f.png

Winter break is over and after a couple of friendlies we got thoroughly beaten by Malaga.  The gulf in class is super wide, it's not even funny.  Domestically, we fared better and had we deservedly beaten Zalgiris, it would have been a perfect one.

624090_20180603164859_1.thumb.png.c86b6a086becbb80d1af2eafd726db34.png

All this means we got a title race (ish) on our hands.  Zalgiris is still 11 points ahead but we do have a game in hand and I am positive we can beat them at least once more. We'll need favours from other teams but with Euro squad playing in the league, we got a good chance of catching up.  Below us there is a massive scrap for both European places and around relegation zone. Hopefully, sea side teams Atlantas and Tauras can pick up some form next month.

624090_20180603164906_1.thumb.png.3fac05fe84895a8ecebb3ae3559bb512.png

Just had a look at my finances and once again, I have not received round appearance money for the knockout round in Europa League.  This could be a major problem later on in the save as we'll be missing out on a few million a year, hopefully.

Youth intake 2029

This year, the youth intake was 10 days late, so I am not sure any of these boys can be registered in time for the league.  Anyhow, our youth rec being at well established, we keep getting these amazing talents every single year.  My key problem is developing enough of them fast enough and tutoring them, so they become pros they could be.

624090_20180603173526_1.thumb.png.7fedef04bb6c1d5bcb4a97b0232df6e2.png

I got yet another right winger as my top talent this year.  He doesn't look too special but lots of 8-10s, so I am keen on him.  A left back is another area that we have plenty of cover but I guess I could always switch my right footed guys to the right there. Bad personality but I'll live.

624090_20180603173535_1.thumb.png.d266b302b348e2ce15e1650cd67569f6.png624090_20180603173545_1.thumb.png.0c5f116ab22e8db0d87951efe5785a71.png

Now, the striker looks real quality.  In terms of pure stats, he's my best finisher at the club and I can't wait to unleash him on defenses.  If he improves though, I do not see holding onto him beyond his 20th birthday.  Last but not least, a centre mid, he's got awful determination stat, but looks okay otherwise, if we manage to lift his mentals up, he could start for us in no time.

March 2029

So, good news first.  We got a new full international in Vasiliauskas, who only took 3 years to get there from graduating from our academy.  The best part is he's got 3.5 years left on his contract so he's going nowhere fast.

624090_20180603223356_1.thumb.png.40da6a08beee89b461cde6f858676648.png

Now, the bad news.  We lost my two best strikers within a span of a week for the rest of the season   Ankudinovas has been out since last year and got a repeat of his issue on his first training back from injury.  Cesnauskis will finish the season with 24 goals in 28 starts which is ridiculous considering he plays defensive forward.

624090_20180603220453_1.thumb.png.e7e1a95a1ddac0b6c01e7bf460c5457b.png

624090_20180603230152_1.thumb.png.83f0a64b88e885f30bc6ed1325e0089b.png

Anyhow, unbeaten month domestically.  We got FMed super hard in the first fixture but managed to salvage a late draw and then proceeded to roll over everything that came into view. Win against Suduva was especially satisfying as they had scored 4 against us twice already.

624090_20180603230256_1.thumb.png.e3c9cdeffaf5c92cb2ee5526fb9c4632.png

Still, Zalgiris is not exactly dropping a lot of points but their lead is down to 8 points and we'll be playing them twice.  We have also almost guaranteed European football for next season as Kauno Zalgiris is in freefall.  In the cup, we'll be battling Suduva in a double header.

Spectacular progress in Europe man! Getting out of the EL groups was great. I'm a bit surprised you still keep on getting intakes with so many PA stars, I'd have thought you'd be reaching a bit of a glass ceiling by now but clearly nowhere near that yet.

Thanks buddy, I don't know what's up with this but we seem to play better under pressure in Europe.

As for the youth intakes, I got well established recruitment and considering I sold two of my best players, so stars are not that impressive:

1* - decent/good for third div

2* - decent/good for second div

3* - leading second/decent first div

4* - good first div

5* - leading first div

Also my HoYD only has 7/8 in ability judgement, so :idiot:

Might be tactics better suited to low expectations = overly attacking opponents that gift away space. ;) Been through that a lot in my careers, it's always easier to play on the underdog position. However the gulf in quality to the teams you're facing in Europe is enormous and so that's not the whole story.

April 2029

April was very quiet.  No new call-ups, no boardroom drama. Everyone's fairly happy and just playing football.  Except we couldn't beat the goddamn Zalgiris.  That team is impossible to catch this season.  Noone in the league has put more than a single goal past them and they just keep on scoring from everywhere. Then we also dropped points vs Atlantas (stupid) and Kauno Zalgiris (v.lucky, then very stupid)

624090_20180604142751_1.thumb.png.4ff584534c3584be937738ff84864107.png

Domestically, Zalgiris are your new champions unless they fail to scrap 5 points from last 5 games.  We'll finish second and there will be a mighty brawl for P3.  In the cup, we're 2-0 up against Suduva for the return leg, so we should be okay to progress to the final against the winner of Zalgiris/Banga, so Zalgiris. Again.

May 2029

European competitions are over, at last.  Bayern has won the CL, Hertha (yep, that one) got the EL.  Looks like germans are still in vogue in 2029.

624090_20180604160726_1.thumb.png.49d3c39fb55871fed9507033cbd47ffa.png624090_20180604155434_1.thumb.png.795d032ed69bf3b9b04100e326bfdfee.png

It also means we got that sweet TV money for our Europa League campaign, almost as good as making CL group stage!

624090_20180604155426_1.thumb.png.06df429ca98c184717ba7110da015af5.png

Anyway, my youngsters have apparently been lighting up domestically, shame they're U21s rather than U20s, so no UEFA youth cup for them :(

624090_20180604155207_1.thumb.png.268f3d60c85387c8dc59b7f8a42cc1e4.png

624090_20180604160856_1.thumb.png.96b361832000a6a11a2097ede77700e6.png

They were also a big reason why the international call-up count is up to 17!  Thank god we don't have any fixtures around this time.

624090_20180604161209_1.thumb.png.09ac6f4694264af44b72c7b0e43ab03b.png

Competitively, a perplexing month to say the least.  We had no form whatsoever and then smashed Zalgiris away 4-0, lol

624090_20180604162801_1.thumb.png.f7bbab8c5e6327b0a6368dc468a44e41.png

That's our second cup win in a row and we even celebrated on stage this time all together!

624090_20180604162644_1.thumb.png.287a23099b15f2ce4d9b3632655d2fa0.png624090_20180604162611_1.thumb.png.70035ad1873f96ef2e94503100ae1040.png

League table, not so pretty.  There is a clear gulf between Zalgiris and us and the rest of the league.  I am not sure that anything will change unless a big tycoon comes over and saves us all from Zalgiris.

End of season 2028/29

Let's start with awards.  We got loads this year, best young player (top3, all our guys) and manager of the year.  We also had Vasiliauskas finish in top3 for the player of the season overall :)

624090_20180604170617_1.thumb.png.f3fd5d18dc250424c85155ae2c04af08.png624090_20180604165341_1.thumb.png.0886c77ef931290cb5498d2b4bb0895b.png624090_20180604170626_1.thumb.png.755516baeb02aa9a4724947912e75461.png

Back at the club we celebrated our finest.  Curiously enough, fans' player of the season didn't make the season's eleven, so make of that what you will.

624090_20180604171420_1.thumb.png.cae1f88a5b98988eb7e3f1e73d84b4c4.png624090_20180604171441_1.thumb.png.6dfd959edd39effaf7511024d96bb04c.png

624090_20180604171733_1.thumb.png.23c9234a2d4cf4f580ae6676b5617f1b.png

The squad really came together this season even as the matches mounted on and on.  We played a total of 57 matches, a sharp increase on 34 in our first season.

624090_20180604173040_1.thumb.png.0cda4b02aab1e3a96ff9bfca2e72555b.png

Our love-hate relationship with the media continues, they love us, they love rubbing Zalgiris in our face whenever they're half decent.  That 5-1 really really hurt us :(

624090_20180604171545_1.thumb.png.5ddb855e20a83e3b069360512bf4eac3.png624090_20180604172905_1.thumb.png.bf8463fe5ff23864a9234e66b055b424.png

Almost forgot, our European coefficients! They're on the rise as we made the biggest jump of all the teams in Europe!

624090_20180604172034_1.thumb.png.cd80f7d9dde11f1622e9a7e9a029f305.png

Finally, the board has followed through with investing in facilities, we'll be training in a lot nicer conditions come winter time.

624090_20180604171725_1.thumb.png.57996378fa9ada00f021e93213994d6a.png

And here are the stats of what's been happening on this journey to the moon and back.

Still 2nd is a decent enough achievement considering. Getting that money from the European run is certainly going to help you with the facilities and improving the players coming through

Obviously this is a youth only save but are you limiting your staff to Lithuanians too? Although my save is slightly different where I can sign players but i've been bringing foreign coaches to try and improve the chances of foreigners coming through the youth system, so just wondered if this is something you've considered?

Cheers mate, I am just pleased we finished in top3, really.  With Zalgiris in that form we never stood a chance but luckily no other team did too well.  Chuffed about the cup, always love sticking one to them. :D

As for the coaches, I do have a Kazakh coach but that's it.  No other foreigners even consider coming over here, I guess club rep is too low.

You are right about the need for foreign influx.  This kinda requires a longer reply though.

I believe this save could have 4 phases.

Phase 1 was all about establishing the club at an amateur level and getting first couple of intakes to replace original players, so that's seasons in third/fourth division when I focused mainly on youth coaching since our training facilities were non-existent and I couldn't raise CA.  Year 1 intake was okay, Year 2 was awful but Year 3 was amazing and Year 4 pushed us over the top.

Phase 2 has been about establishing ourselves as one of premier Lithuanian clubs.  We got stuck in second division for a bit but we made it a lot faster than expected in the top division.  Here, youth recruitment, better coaches and improvements to training facilities have been key as well as the TV deals.  I think we're close to completing Phase 2, our last three intakes have been out of this world and could form a spine of a League 1 or a Championship team quite easily.

Phase 3 will be getting to group stages consistently, improving team's and league's ranking to around 15-20 in Europe.  This should bring in tonnes of money to spend on facilities as local deals will be less important until the club/league rep goes to 3+ stars. The plan here to get to good/great facilities, max out youth coaching/rec and start winning the league every season even with European commitments.  It would also be nice to get out of groundshare in a 900 seater and get a 4-8k stadium at least.

Phase 4 will be challenging for European honours.  This will be very tricky as Lithuania's base youth rating is 63/73 I think? In essence, I'll need a bit of luck, really really good coaching/facilities, not get picked off by super teams too early and hopefully introduce some foreign gems.  That's where the foreign coaches/affiliates with youth setup should come in handy.  If I could get a Brazilian/Argentinian English/Italian/Spanish/German feeder club who'd introduce players to our ranks, we'd have a chance.  Without this extra push, I don't think I'd ever win CL. EL? Maybe, but even that would be a huge huge stretch. We'd probably need to build another new stadium too, around 20-35k hopefully.

Phase 1 took 4 years, Phase 2 has been going for 7 years and hopefully will be over next season.  I'd expect Phase 3 to last 7-15 seasons. If we make group stage every season, league's ranking will be in high 20s.  Zalgiris or Suduva got to make it there too, eventually.  Hopefully, that just tips the balance and we snowball into low 20s or even high teens in terms of ranking.  The other thing to consider is how soon will my board approve building a new stadium.  We have never played a European game at home, most of them have been played at a stadium 150 miles away, so that's something I am really keen on.  Finally, if I ever reach Phase 4, that should be another 15-20 seasons on top of that.  We'd need another stadium to fulfil demand for tickets and give us a chance to compete financially.  We'd need at least an elite potential and EPL/La liga starter potential player every single year from the intake. That feels very much like a stretch at the moment but who knows what the future will bring.

June 2029

It's almost time to start games in the new season!  We'll be starting in the first qualifying round for the Europa league, so once more an 11 month calendar with a winter break in store for us.

624090_20180606200609_1.thumb.png.a84debf0f41f71861b1fccbc484be4e3.png

But before we get there, my board has been trying to woo me with all the great things they can do for the team.  That's Youth Rec maxed out and Junior coaching halfway to max.

624090_20180604182555_1.thumb.png.68c8377d413abc362d0d29b3c07eb1e1.png

Apparently winning a lot brings in money in Lithuania and Europe, so we had a very healthy financial year and league's TV deal got a bit sweeter too.

And then Wolves chairman (yet another Lithuanian tycoon) wanted me to come over and keep them in the league.  I was like thanks, but no thanks.

Last but not least, I wanted to start integrating last year's intake into the main squad and this happens to my probably second best striker...

July 2029

Our most legitimate adventure in Lithuania continues :brock:  Apparently, the whole Europe is flooded with Lithuanian chairmen now, here's another one asking for help.  Thanks but no, thanks

624090_20180606204100_1.thumb.png.e7235a9d6ba1fe691c1b261f98dd0c13.png

In the meantime, I am the one who's getting desperate and even got myself an affiliate to send youngsters on loan.   Palanga is our feeder club now and boy, have they fallen.  Once a top division club, they're now scraping amongst also-rans and in third division.  Also, I get to use their facilities, so that's a 2mil upgrade for 6kpa :D

624090_20180606221321_1.thumb.png.2be938ba1573bd470f2acb967f55c859.png

We were finally back in action, opening with a few friendlies and then a Europa League qualifying campaign.  We're doing alright so far, smashing amateurs 11-2 in round 1 on aggregate and carrying a 2-0 lead into away leg against Slovakian vice-champions in 2029 and league winners in 2028.  We also got EL participation money this season for some reason, so that's nice.

624090_20180606225328_1.thumb.png.c40733665e573e97f99d71eaef90a565.png

624090_20180606214027_1.thumb.png.50166f3f26071b022ab634d04ea5bd87.png

That leaves us with a second leg of the second qualifying round in Europa league, Zalgiris in the Super Cup and a whole lot of not-so-promising youngsters to cull.

624090_20180606225339_1.thumb.png.5306406b716c5f2177b1554bb7cb51d8.png

This is also the first time ever all 4 Lithuanian clubs got through the first round of qualifiers, so the league standard must be getting better :)

August 2029

The upgrades for the club just keep rolling in, we got data facilities upgraded.  Then we found out 8 more people bought season tickets this year, 100 in total

624090_20180607211946_1.thumb.png.ade7a2b210e717c4f85d7419fef07da5.png

624090_20180607211948_1.thumb.png.4caa1e89f9cafde015c10c6596690443.png

The media think we should end mid-table this season with Zalgiris being the usual darling.  We also are not expected to make any waves in player of the season awards.

624090_20180607211600_1.thumb.png.f4d385e533db12693fced62a4309ef9f.png624090_20180607213334_1.thumb.png.da3ca3c3899b0f8252ed185d93fe7e2a.png

Fixture-wise a lot more mixed month. We lost twice to Zalgiris, got through round 2 in Europa League, lost at home but won away in round 3 and then got smashed by Atalanta in the final qualification stage.  We did draw at home, so at least that's something.

624090_20180607232048_1.thumb.png.b55278e2767a9d49d689ef53e8b4292a.png

We've only played one game in the league, so not much to report there.  We're not starting the cup for another few weeks and no more competitions in the meantime.

624090_20180607232135_1.thumb.png.23b532514b3ad53bb69823829c780280.png

Zalgiris actually qualified for Europa League group stages having dropped out of CL in qualifying round 3.  Tough group for them, wonder if that will affect their league form at all.

Catching up in here -- solid work, great thread...will be following along!  Time to knock those dog bastards at Zalgiris off their perch.

Welcome aboard :D

Knocking Zalgiris off their effing perch will take a while, I should imagine.  They still pay their starters as much as I pay my whole playing staff.

September 2029

We've got another full international! Lotuzys, unremarkable kid from the sixth generation has managed to break into the national squad and I couldn't have been prouder of him.

624090_20180608200911_1.thumb.png.773e49a42a952d9e104efd77d11373f6.png

Fixture-wise a very quiet month now that we're out of Europe.  We won all 3 matches but our defence has less shape than a jelly.  Very much  a case of we'll score more than you.

624090_20180608213159_1.thumb.png.c79208810d535da3dd6fddee25858211.png

This leaves us second in the table behind Zalgiris.  They still haven't slipped up with a perfect record.  Newly promoted Trakai are okay with 4 points but Suduva has been very slow out of the blocks having traditionally been a top3 club in Lithuania.  In the cup we'll be facing Kauno Zalgiris B team, so that should be an easy one, hopefully.

October 2029

So my best player wants to leave for a bigger club, lol.  I managed to convince him our youngsters could improve enough for him to carry but most importantly he's on a 3 year contract, so I am in a position of power. For now.

624090_20180609112848_1.thumb.png.496d26115140e32aad04fe4f4388a621.png

We also had a hurriKane of facility upgrades this month.  Youth, Senior and Data facilities all got a facelift and we even convinced the board to invest in youth facilities again next year.

624090_20180609113106_1.thumb.png.3995659a34c383432a62f441af592e69.png

624090_20180609120719_1.thumb.png.2c317ecae5da26eadda7baf7a372bcee.png

Just for reference this is where we are at having started at absolutely worst possible everything (though we did have junior rec and coaching).  That 900-seater stadium is a sore in my eye but we're only pulling 400-700 people in league matches so far, so it's not all that terrible.  However, we still haven't played a single European tie at our home stadium due to size restrictions.

624090_20180609123043_1.thumb.png.375756c029c129621cf0d8384e82fa7a.png

We had four competitive fixtures this month, did not concede a goal but couldn't hit a barn door either.  Lucky escapes all round.

624090_20180609124620_1.thumb.png.b8a1a40e3a0f2d0a53106729bcd3f6a5.png

That leaves us top of a 3-way battle for the league at the moment.  We'll be facing Jonava B team in the cup, so that should be another quarter-final appearance for us.

624090_20180609124626_1.thumb.png.dba480ae20594e5e68b0257fb81bf7ab.png

I have been thinking about getting to Europe these past couple of days and realised that the only realistic way for us is either to win league and get there via relatively easy qualifying in CL and then EL or to not win the cup and get easier opponents in the EL.  Feels a bit dirty cheating the system that way but I will have to make a decision at some point.

Cheers mate, they're basically Lithuanian Celtic in terms of financial muscle and star power.  The only way I see them going away is them collapsing financially

November 2029

Yet another first for my boys :brock: My star centre mid got his first cap, well deserved as he has been a key fulcrum in our team. The best part? He's on a first year of a 4+3 contract :D

624090_20180609134122_1.thumb.png.852ba09287b985af33adf3ea7b081fa3.png

Fixture-wise, a very light month.  The whole Lithuania went under water and we only had two competitive games. Suck it, Zalgiris.

624090_20180609143510_1.thumb.png.51ae431ce3f580786b1996a63637ce7b.png

We're still second in the league but now on goal difference only.  Kauno Zalgiris is still going strong in P3 and Suduva is finally rebounding.

December 2029

We hired a foreign coach! @Dexter_Morgan I was looking through every possible coach and noticed a certain Norwegian was open to a contract, he's not too great (2.5*) but I'll keep him for a few years.

624090_20180609170846_1.thumb.png.2b42ecfdb4a95aee61d36293902ce83e.png

Competitively we have been unstoppable. We've become a green machine that slowly but surely grinds everyone down. We even beat our record of matches without defeat!

624090_20180609170628_1.thumb.png.beee535563249190b563c6b6172349f6.png

Normally, you'd think that would be enough to be runaway leader?  Not in this country.  Zalgiris is in hot pursuit and Kauno Zalgiris is having a season too!  In the cup we'll be meeting second division Dainava, so that's another semi-final pretty much guaranteed.

Also shout out to my boys at Zalgiris, developing my former youngster and selling him on for just low enough, so that we end up the team that made profit and not Zalgiris

That's 100k upfront + 67k now for us  and -100k for Zalgiris and 98k from ASSE :idiot:

February 2030

More Lithuanian chairmen asking me for help.  I swear I am the most hip manager out there right now..

624090_20180609184038_1.thumb.png.4e14a5f5e7a499e4e98495e69aec8d62.png

We played a few friendlies to get back into shape and deary me, we were awful.  Then we were more awful against Zalgiris. Bastards.

624090_20180609193859_1.thumb.png.aa78dbcb466f5981cfc009361013b390.png

The defeat against big bad Z keeps us in second, just a point off the summit.  This league might be decided virtue of who's playing at home after the split in the match against Zalgiris :( Suduva finally fired their manager.  They've been incredibly dumb ever since winning the league title in 2021.  Their manager left for Zalgiris and instead of promoting the ass man who had already managed them and won a cup the season before they hired externally.  They've been sacking and hiring every year since.

Youth intake 2030

New HoYD, new affiliates, new coaches, could we sustain our sky-high expectations for the youngsters?

624090_20180609205639_1.thumb.png.1d9cb29b5897effafa5714215456f596.png

Not sure how I feel about it.  On one hand I just landed myself my next keeper.  On the other hand, the rest of them are pretty average to say the least.

624090_20180609205645_1.thumb.png.e1f0d10186bdf13a1b512b61195a693b.png624090_20180609205652_1.thumb.png.39f2cafc687be0aa3eca395cd392ba1b.png

The goalie is perfect.  Butkus has everything you'd want in a 15yo 6'3 keeper.  Maybe a tad more determination but that's about it.  Mirauskas is a very raw prospect but I can see him fulfilling his potential.

624090_20180609205700_1.thumb.png.450798ba5c64b0e476fba7694e2379c6.png624090_20180609205707_1.thumb.png.603a0f61985cb16c4f32ee6706c9b09d.png

Kancelskis has a good base to build around though his mentals need lots of help.  Klimavicius might struggle with fitness but if he's to overcome that, we may have a player on our hands.

March 2030

The club will be celebrating 15 years since founding this summer and I think we've got a squad good enough to make us proud.  The youngsters keep swimming on their debuts.

624090_20180609231448_1.thumb.png.1a5bd29b64c065e2137dceaa6342ddcb.png

We just kept on scoring more and more this month.  I think we have finally clicked and started playing with utter conviction.  Suck it, Zalgiris, 5 points from their last 5 games including a 6-1 drubbing we inflicted on them :lol::lol:

624090_20180609232526_1.thumb.png.e2b4bb55bc52d26b6c28f1eccc3f2613.png

We're top of the league and suddenly we got a gap.  If we don't choke in the last few games, the title is ours!  In the cup semi final we'll be facing one of Zalgiris, so the hardest possible assignment for us.

April 2030

What a month.  We started as utter frauds.  45 shots in first 2 games and 0 goals by our players.  We finished the month with an 8-0 thrashing of Suduva.  Also, Zalgiris got spanked 3-0 at home :herman:

624090_20180610013144_1.thumb.png.1aca683c178eee6ed9ecb06041c0e827.png

We're top of the league, 11 points ahead having played a game more. Zalgiris have 8 games to overturn the difference and I just don't see that happening at all.  Second leg of the cup will hopefully be a formality and we'd be meeting the winner of Suduva/Stumbras in the final.
