Highest fee recieved was something I thought of for a while, but feel this will be much more about buying than selling at least in the beginning, before I finish the first season I will make a decision. It might be that I specify that these points will be calculated from season 3 or something like that.

Again I would also like to remind that please make comments of course and also suggestions. Suggestions for what you want to see in this edition, but also I would love to hear suggestions for Build Your Team Version 2.0 for a possible expansion in the future.

Thanks for comments all of you.

jtiessen definitely should be better for the future for your team, excited to see how the club develops with all those spectators.

toonbalm87 Pap Utd looks like one of the favorites for several titles this season.

leonavich Sorry you missed the deadline, but nice that you will follow us anyway. If it is a success , there might be a second version with even more features, so be sure to stick around.

Sankalan All the countries who are represented in this challenge plus New Zealand (host country of the competition) have been give the same youth rating as Brazil. (Other countries that are not involved are unchanged.) When it comes to game importance both the reputation that we set at 9000 for the clubs matters (and real clubs with a reputation of 7000+ have been reduced to 7000.) The competitions range in reputation from 196 for Yashin Trophy to 200 for Maradona Trophy. All other competitions in the World have been lowered to a maximum of 140.

The Managers was chosen randomly also from a "pool" of the top 30 Managers in the World, so the teams could have got any of the top 30 managers. However unlike for the players there was no "ban" for the top 5 managers.

I will provide a schedule screenshot next time, but Finances will be a ordinary update for every team after each season from now on.

sherwinriga I will put the roster next time, will post some updates of the major competitions for national teams also, but I feel this will become more interesting after 4-5 years maybe when these teams have developed youth players hopefully into stars for their country.

ooks like you gave me the kiss off death

Very surprised and satisfied to read how well everything has went for The Flamingos :) Really good signings of both Emre Can, Julian Brandt, Saido Berahino, Cesar Azpilicueta, and of course Sergio Agüero, adding to players like Reus, Pique, Alves, Baines and Rooney :) The first half season was decent and was slightly disappointed with being placed 6th, but on more positive notes I was doing well in The Lineker Trophy as well as in The Yashin Trophy. But of course I was happy to hear that in the end of the season we secured bronze medals, as well reaching the semi finals in The Yashin Trophy! :) And it kinda looks like we've gotten some kind of rivals in The Pinks, facing them in the quarter finals in both the Lineker Trophy and the Yashin Trophy. Hoping to see my boys fight for victory in all three competitions next season as well, and then a signing of Messi as well wouldn't be bad ;)

Now... I must say that it's kind of disappointing that neither our self-made logos nor our self-made kits are in the game :/

Looking good so far, would be interesting to see the team lists and overall stats for the season for each team. Good way for the chairmen to see how the player performed for the team as well as how the other teams players have done.

Liking how it is playing out with the different setups and as the teams start to settle into themselves.

A few suggestions are below as well

Best and fairest award - If this is not automatically calculated in game, for an individual, it could just be the player with the least cards meeting the criteria, or the team with the least cards at the end of the season.

Best XI (seasonal and accumulative) - this would be interesting to see who is the best XI of the year as well as accumulative, over the years. This could just be the in game one created for the league at the end of each year.

Yearly chairman changes - Not sure if you have the in game editor, but allowing chairmen to have inputs into their teams dealings at the end of the year (i.e transfer targets / sales, money distribution for wages / transfers, Firing a manager at the end of the season, etc)

A bit of story and summary behind the bigger moments, ie Cup finals or relegation / title battles in the final rounds having a summary of play, such as who scored, critical moments such as cards, missed chances, penalties, etc to add a bit of story and tension to the climatic parts of the season.

Going in the same line, you coulsd put up a pool of 12 players(modified regens) on auction at the end of each season, and give us an annual budget(apart from the ingame one. We could then take one of those players(first and highest bid wins) and the excess left carries over to the next season.

Awesome to see La Celia winning something! Though I'm a little disappointed by the league position.

Good work pal, I'm looking forward to seeing how this pans out after a couple of seasons.

JuulDK (and others) - Sorry for late replies regarding logos and kits. I was a bit unclear in my suggestion for making logos and kits. Thumbs up to all of you who have done this. I was though more looking for someone who could make for all teams, as I suck in doing this my self. I also feel very good at implementing them in the game. I guess you need a text file to describe what team goes to what image. I was hoping somerone could do the whole kits and logo stuff for me, I would obviously provide the ID-number for each team from the editor if neccesary. (And I use Mac if that required to know).

leonavich - Fairest award is something I will consider for the future but not for this version. ( I would probably for the future add awards via the editor) The same goes for Best XI.

Yearly chairman changes and Sankalans question is really good suggestion, as a "chairman" myself would love to see this, it requires a bit more and I would need to look into the Ingame editor to check for that. I used the ingame editor a bit in FM15 for a game I had with a few buddies. But never tried it in FM16. Does it come default included with the full fat FM16? However this would require the challenge to be more an interactive game. I think this will be good for a version 2.0 implemention.

Story addition will definately come as this challenge continues I learn more about what you people like to hear about, I was a bit eager the other night to get the progress as far as possible.

The text file is very easy, Given that you know the IDs. There is this software called FMXML that is really helpful. The page tells you everything you need. Basically, You download the kits and logos we have uploaded, and paste them in two diferrent folders in your Graphics directory(Since you are clearly using a facepack, you must know where the graphics directory is) After that, Name the Files in a way so that you know which file is which just by looking at the name. Then use the program to generate the XML.

And then, when is the big update coming?

My suggestions for the next Build Your Team Version 2.0 are:

- Since the Regional League in the original didn't fix, I decided that there will be 200+ nations competing in their own international club nations league with young prospects and free agents are going to train hard for them to be in the higher leagues.

- There will be a fair play competition, so that whoever has being the one who have been the lest number of disciplinary actions will get 50 points.

- I would like to see a 24-team league in the first division, then 28-team leagues for the rest of it. Hope to see dual nationality teams to compete with the one-nationality teams.

- Try to put all small nations' players to the league to take the spotlight as the bigger stars will get two choices: going to your team or stay in Europe!

I hope that would be more fun in the next edition!

The first season is duly over and we just awaited the finances. At the end of the season big stadium owner The Chiefs are the most valuable club in the world. With almost 1,8 billion pounds of worth, they are almost twice as valuable as Real Gunners. Actually European clubs holds a lot of the top spots still. So it will be interesting to see in the future if the World clubs can overtake the "old" clubs like Barcelona and Man.Utd etc. This means The Chiefs scores 10 points in the HOF table.

Club rankings: http://postimg.org/image/l05jnmd2v/

The biggest transfer of the first season was still Sadio Mane at 47,5M pounds bought from Southampton. Troops was the club to splash the most cash on one single player in the first season. In fact something like the 20 most expensive transfers all happened straight away in july-15. Troops got 3 points in HOF for this purchase. No clubs grabbed the extra points for being the first World club to buy from another.

Transfers in july-15 : http://postimg.org/image/h23at9t2p/

The final points for the HOF table was the club with the highest bank balance after the first season. A lot of clubs made some nice profits, but some clubs spent a bit too much also. This left Lineker Trophy winners Real Gunners with the highest bank balance at the end of the season with 178,8M pounds left in the bank. This will hopefully see the club make some big signings next season.

Real Gunners finances: http://postimg.org/image/od7gwfr93/

This concludes the first season as far as HOF concerned and the 3rd post is updated with the current HOF standings. In a series of posts coming up, you will see finances, squads, fixtures and transfers for all clubs in a one by one post update.

Unfortunately I can't seem to fix the graphics due to using mac. I have the unique-ID for the clubs and filenames, so if anyone is keen to try and make an XML file for me I would be very grateful for that.

If there is anything else you like to see/know about the first season, please let me know fast before we move on to season number 2.

Good luck to everyone!!!

And Please add the graphics...:(

you do realize that it is a lot images to put up and takes forever and also he does a big write up with the game id say find out who is the best player from intake and just write his name and CA & PA thats enough for me. as for graphics he doesn't know how to do it so how can he.

Well you will see that some teams are quite near my team in cash. My team had a low transfer budget and spent very little the first season. Still the team did well by winning the Lineker Trophy and finishing 4th in the league this gave a lot of prize money. The it was the 2nd best in average attendance and got a lot of season ticket money and gate receipts as well. You can some of the financial summary at the bottom of the screenshot but not all of it unfortunately.

toon thanks for the words. When it comes to youth intake, sorry but it will be next season. Reason for this is that I don't have geniescout and I need to buy the editor to actually see the CA and PA for the new players. Thought I had the editor but that was on FM15, but will fix it in the weekend as I don't have budget for it at the moment :p hehe

Sankalan Sorry no geniescout , and really trouble with the graphics. Thought I was there when it was down to editing the XML , tried your link, but its for PC not MAC. (And didn't much understand it anyway). It will work I am sure as I do download graphic packs that usually work.

No problem. Not many people understand how much it takes to run one of these types of games and how long updates sometimes take to put up I have done a few myself did a Fifa 16 Based one with making my own packs etc.

Exactly. First of all I don't blame Sankalan or others for wanting more screens and stuff in this challenge. I want it to be the best challenge as possible my self. And I also want to know more about the youths, see the logos etc. The time consuming I know it took time before I started the challenge, but it takes a bit more than expected. Especially making screens. By the time I am done with season 1 update today, I have made some 80+ screens just today, and totally for the game more than 100 screens from the first season. So from now on it will be a bit fewer screens and more text focused. But I felt it was important for chairmen to get a good look at their club after 1 season so they know what to expect for the future.

I also would like to add some more elements to the challenge, but not sure how much to change once we are underway already. But I do definitely know I need to get the editor this coming weekend.

Yeah they do become a lot of them what i did i just used the important ones for leagues squads and transfers and finances and thats it i never used the fixtures or the club page sometimes i even did a game of month where top 2 or relegation battle or whatever and i would put all the match screens and highlights.

Earl, I do appreciate the hardwork you are putting and what I said was actually not aimed to increase your work.

Could you atleast list all the clubs by their Unique IDS so that I can create a graphichs folder for you with the config in it?

On an added note, I kow that in Geniescout, there is the possibility to see list of players and clubs by Competition. Additionally, the entire list thus obtained can be printed in plaintext format. Do, not know whether or not that is the case with MacAssistant, but if it is, you can avoid the squad and Team home screenshots entirely.

Could you atleast list all the clubs by their Unique IDS so that I can create a graphichs folder for you with the config in it?

Ofcourse Sankalan. Thats what I meant all the way back at the early post, but I didn't specify it well enough. Here are all the codes:

La Celia - 2062002138

The Brewers - 2062002135

The Chiefs - 2062002132

Arwachin SC - 2062002129

Troops - 2062002137

Pap Utd - 2062002134

The Pinks - 2062002131

Real Gunners - 2062002128

Glichevskiy Neft’ - 2062002139

The Flamingos - 2062002136

The White City - 2062002133

Rizal United 1971 - 2062002130

So for next season I will try to do the following:

- With help from Sankalan hopefully get all the logos and its in place to make it look nicer in the interface.

- Aquire In-game editor and Macassistant (payed version, already downloaded the program)

- Write more stories and background around important games and happenings to the game world

- Lesser screenshots to make the updates come faster.

- Try to write smaller monthly updates during the season instead of waiting for only big updates at the end of the season.

But before I move there I want to know what you all think would be great for next season. Do we want to turn this into an interactive game? If sufficient enough members want this it will be an interactive part between season (like at the stage we are now) around 29th/30th of june every year. It will then be a one time opportunity to do certain changes to the club, and also be possible to sign some freshly made players.

But its all up to you if you want this addition to the challenge?

I am all for an interactive game.

I have done the logos,( and PM'ed the link to earl) hopefully they show up and I have not made any mistake.(Earl, can you confirm that?*Remember to reload skin*)

About the kits, What I am noticing is that many of your kits have backgrounds. That might mess up the game. I would do them soon, but if possible, upload kits without backgrounds

Earl - Would the interactive thing involve being able to see screensprints, because I can't see yours.

However, if you're going to allow us to access game saves, or anything which doesn't incvolve taking actions based on screenshots, then that would be nice.

For above reasosns, you probably shouldn't bother with too many of the sceenshots for The Pinks.

If you want someone else to take over the team who can access the screenshots, for whatever reason, that's fine.

No need for someone to take over vike , I will not bother too much about your screens, but tell you more in plain text what is happening. But I will see from time to time if I can send you the latest savegame-file. (Depending on the size if my mail program allows it.)
