Good read up to now and gl with Lens!

Yeah they kept complaining I wouldn't sell them (i tried!) and squad got all upset and board sacked me :applause:2 defeats only and i dragged them back to La Liga! ungrateful

Cheers Hopefully Lens love me

2016-2017 season review

Ligue 2 - 11th

Coupe de France - 9th Round

Coupe de la ligue - 1st round

Previous Clubs

Deportivo - 15th in La Liga

Mezokovesd - 13th in OTB Liga

Both stayed up this season, Mezokovesd seem to be slowy dropping down the league.

Next season

The board have set me a target of 12 points from the first 5 games next season so I need to start well or I'll be out of a job,

I'm just about getting over the Deportivo sacking now but it still hurts.

Need a massive rebuild over the summer at Lens the club is filled with dross and I've been slowly arranging the departures of a few for the summer.

Expectations

Ligue 2- Win the Title

Coupe De France - 10th Round

Coupe De La Ligue - 3rd Round

Review

I've got rid of anyone that was unhappy or not in my plans or good enough.

Tried to bring in quality rather than quantity.

A good pre-season hopefully we come flying out of the blocks.

Board requesting 12 points from first 5 games

I'm hoping Rabiot and Benzia turn out to be match winners for us keep them fit and

we should be ok.

Expectations

League One

Respectable position

Fa Cup

3rd round

Capital One Cup

2nd Round(not judging on this)

JPT

Not important

Review

After 11 games we are 23rd not in a terrible position as only 8 points behind 6th

Its very tight. The board want a respectable position which looks achieveble

the team is half decent maybe needs a few tweaks

the club is on a stable footing I think I have found a sensible club here.

Getting sacked for squad harmony is a terrible decision considering how well you were doing with them!

Shame about the sacking with Lens but hopefully things will work out for you at Peterborough.

Signing

Harrison Reed (Southampton)

3 month loan deal agreed for 22 year old English Centre Midfielder

Review

When I took over we hadn't won for 6 league games and morale was down,

The win vs Burton in the JPT was a good start.

We then lost a further 3 in the league before a last minute winner vs Tranmere stopped it being 10 games without a win.

There's a few players here over aged and over paid.

i've set a £5,000pw max wage and the plan is to invest in potential and sell on.

Great to see the board accept my request to improve training and youth facilities.

Hoping we build on that win into November now.

A casual glance at this forum after the release of FM15 brought me to this thread as it was top of the list at the time. Since then I've been inspired to get back into a thread of my own. Really enjoying following this. Shame about the sackings. Think they were both unfair myself.

That's great to hear.Regarding the sackings the Deportivo one was the biggest shock as I was successful there. Lens the board seemed to asking for too much too soon. Hopefully Peterborough will give me time to turn them around.

Enjoying this  Think the sackings have been harsh but in a way i guess it's sort of realistic. Seems to be a lot of people getting sacked fairly easily this year, makes me feel better about my own failures :D

I'm glad i can make you feel better about your failures:lol:

I can understand the Lens one but Deportivo was very harsh
