2017-18 Season Review

2.Bundesliga

a 12th place finish after a late run of games saw us move up the table. Not a bad start to life in Germany and now for a summer rebuild

Key Players

Kevin Stoger

Attacking Midfielder only joined in January under the previous management and managed 7 assists 3 goals in 14 games.

Franca

Brazilian Defensive Midfielder was in the reserves transferred listed when I arrived he slotted straight into the team and consist 7.5 ratings.

Kelechi Iheanacho

7 goals in 11 games since January hopefully score alot more next season.

Inital Budgets

Transfer - £786k

Wage - £250k

Already agreed a transfer for 24 year old Austria Goalkeeper Andreas Leitner from FC Admira Wacker Modling for £405k

Previous Clubs

Peterborough

Survived relegation by a point on the final day former England manager Steve Mclaren replaced me

R.C Lens

Champions of Ligue 2 which I maintain would of happened under my management if I was given time

Deportivo

Survived Relegation on the final day with better vs results against Gefate

Mezokovesd

Survived Relegation on the final day by 1 point slowly dropping down the league each season.

Next Season

Stay in my job for the year would be a nice start:rolleyes: then if possible push for promotion.

The squad is very old so some clever recruiting is needed

August 2018-January 2019 Update

Been abit busy this week to update so a bigger one here for the first half of the season

August

Aug18res.png

An awful start to the season which led to a tactical change, at least we won in the cup:rolleyes:

September

Sept18res-1.png

7 points picked up out of 5 games but conceding way too many

October

Oct18res-1.png

An awful month with 1 point from possible 9, was always going to lose in the cup

Contract

contract-5.png

A new contract? They must love losing, but nice to see as gives me some security.

November

Nov18res.png

Wow I forgot what winning felt like and to win 3 in a row and not concede for 4 games? Have I cracked it?

December

Dec18res.png

7 games unbeaten and 6 without conceding we broke the record then conceded after 2 minutes in the next match

Record broken

record.png

Love that we broke this record after the goals we conceded earlier in the season

Table at the Winter Break up

Dec18tb.png

7 points off the playoffs surely not? but 9 ahead of relegation is nice to see.

Review

Feel like I've turnt a corner on this career, Finally gone a while without the sack!! Can we push on now? have to see

2019/20 Season Review

2.Bundesliga

2nd -PROMOTED

A great season, Midtable was all that was expected,

A change of formation in the summer and a Red hot striker carried us.

DFB-Pokal

2nd Round

Was all that was expected

Key Players

Tim Queckenstedt

22 year old german who I signed on a free last summer nothing was expected from him apart from back up but he took the league by storm and broke the most goals scored in a season record.

Goncalo Guedes

Best player in the club this winger was sensational again. 13 goals and 16 assists from the wing.

Alexander Nubel

Was on the way out when I arrived in germany, saved him and he was given a chance in goal this season and ended up starting 33 games. Homegrown through the ranks player which I love is now 4* ability so he will be my number 1 next season

New Contract

contract-6.png

Only a year deal so it gives me a the chance to move on if I fancy it.

Initial Budgets

Transfers - £0

Wage - £250,000pw

Next season

Survival is the aim. We have no money though which is a worry.

The board is in takeover talks though so fingers crossed.

Avoid Relegation

DFB Pokal

Review

Heavily relying on loans as board have made no money available,

I scouted the whole of europe of the best loans I could find.

I don't think we will stay up we aren't good enough at the back

I could not find the centre back I desperately needed
