Whats thats like I loved the orginal? Yeah, the original is one of my all time favorite games, played it like a madman when I was younger. The new one is basically identical with some small improvements. They changed the founding fathers so they are a bit more like wonders (i.e. once someone has got one of them, no-one can get him) and they come in different categories (military, trade, religion, exploration and politics) and you earn point in those categories by doing just those things. Once you earned enough you get the offer to get a founding father or wait and try for a better one. It uses the Civ4 engine which I'm quite happy with although its tricky to see what some tiles are at times. Also uses parts of the Civ4 battle system as well. Overall, just as addictive so far and the improvements suit nicely into the game. My only disappointment is that the maps seem to be smaller than in the original, but that may just be that I haven't looked through the options thoroughly yet, I just used the quick play one. ZJ Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Woohoo, made the Sweden squad. Guess I'm only a sub there though, Ibrahimovic and someone else should still be first choice I guess. And I got a German League title as well, awesome. Sad about not reaching 20 goals though. 3rd best in amount goals scored, but just edging out Poikans in goal/game average so I'm happy. Lets hope FC Bayern can get some good players in and we can mount a decent campaign in CL next season. Could you send me the genie screenie as well later of the player? Very nice updates, KUTGW.
