You've all got until midnight on Tuesday (that's 33 hours) to finalise your turns. For Aidan Galashan, who has missed a turn already, this deadline is particularly important, and even more so for Moon McNamee who will, unfortunately, have his place taken from him in this sign-up for missing three turns running.

Still waiting on Moon McNamee, King Tikki-Man and Aidan Galashan. Come on guys, all you need to do should you not want to do anything this turn is just inform me. Unless you do so, I have to count this turn as a miss. Which means for Moonshine, I'm afraid, the end of the road.

Lionel Aguerre:

Advance straight to GO, collect 10000 points

Phill Ewles:

A wealthy fan donates £10M to your club

Mike Jablonski:

You win a Harry Redknapp lookalike competition. You win 20000 points

Uncle Scrooge:

A stock market investment you made several years ago soars. You earn 25000 points

Long Tym Toon:

£10m is a great help, and after looking on Google, I think it must have been Steven Malkmus, lead singer of Pavement, god knows how he had £10m to spare but it's greatfully received.

Now to gain promotion and spend it all on transfers.

Premier Division

As expected, Manchester United did end up winning the title, by 9 points over closest rivals Chelsea. Shrewd businessman Mike Jablonski purchased Bolton Wanderers after enjoying some prolonged financial success, and the Lancashire outfit very nearly qualified for the Champions League, finishing 5th, behind Arsenal on goal difference. A solid investment already, it is proving. Less joy though for our other Premier League chairman, with Aidan Galashan's Blackpool finishing bottom on goal difference, and three points from safety, meaning that they would go straight back down to the Championship. It was a brave effort from the Tangerines though, and it has yet to be made clear whether Galashan wishes to continue his involvement with the club. Blackpool are predicted to make the playoffs next season, as they bid to return to the promised land at the first time of asking.

Championship

Lionel Agurre's Middlesbrough did end up sticking it out to win promotion - a huge achievement for the club - but not as expected, as champions. It was Phill Ewles' Hull City who were crowned winners of the Championship, after taking 19 points from their last 7 games; just two off the maximum. For both sides, this was not just a huge achievement in footballing terms, but financially as well, and both outfits can rest a little easier now their money problems are, momentarily at least, behind them.

The playoffs were very exciting, with Symon Krajnik's new acquisitions Burnley heading King Tikki-Man's Bristol City, Coach Crane's Preston and late chargers Sheffield United, of Sergio Gonzalez. Third and fourth placed, Burnley and City, won resoundingly in their ties, each scoring four goals, and were set to face off in what promised to be an exciting and tight final. Tight it was indeed, with a penalty shootout being required to separate them. After seven spot-kicks each, former England international David James saved Michael Duff's penalty, and then scored one himself to send Bristol City into the Premiership, and their fans into absolute euphoria.

Nottingham Forest missed out on the playoffs altogether in the end, after having occupied them for several weeks in the run up to the end of the season, despite the rather acrimonious signing of Eden Hazard, who only joined previous club Sunderland for a whopping £17.75M two months previously. Hazard moved to Forest for what seemed to be a free transfer, and an independent panel is looking into the signing, although the chances of Stefan Guillermo's club facing punishment is reported to be very slim.

In stark contrast to them, Scunthorpe and Kieran Hayden's Swansea suffered the heartbreaking fate of relegation. Aidan Galashan's Norwich City went down too, completing a dastardly season for him; both his clubs being relegated, as Mike Jablonski's Crystal Palace narrowly escaped the drop. Following the descent in division to League One, both Hayden and Galashan sold their clubs, and will be looking to invest in new ones when the new season begins.

These three sides will be replaced next season by Brighton, Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday, all of whom were promoted from League One.

Cups

Following a reasonable success for Portsmouth in the League Cup, having made the semis, the FA Cup didn't prove such a good showing for our clubs. Blackpool and Portsmouth went the furthest; this being the fifth round. Brentwood made the semis, and Ipswich made the final, but neither of these are owned by our businessmen.

Managers

Uncle Scrooge decided the vacant hotseat at his side Leicester would be filled by former Barcelona B manager Luis Enrique. Norwich sacked Paul Lambert after his failure to keep the side up, and Brendan Rodgers made the move to Carrow Road to replace him. Birmingham and Wigan sacked McLeish and Martinez respectively following their relegations, although Blackpool opted to retain the services of Ian Holloway. Both Birmingham and Wigan opted to promote their assistant managers; with Andy Watson and Graeme Jones becoming managers for the first time.

Sure - risky announcing it in public though! Should anyone ahead of you (assuming there is anyone ahead of you) in the draft see this and decide they too want to buy Doncaster, you could be losing out. Everything you've requested is absolutely fine though.

Looks like I'll have to make do with a relegation battler next year :(

There are a couple of available mid-table Champ teams floating about - you'll have to be shrewd though.

This is NOT the order in which your turns take place, merely that of the first draft. Please PM me with your responses to events and plans for this turn. Once all 15 of you have sorted out your turn, the update will be run.

Moon McNamee, Stefan Guillermo, Aidan Galashan, Uncle Scrooge and Kieran Hayden all pick up 10000 points for passing GO!, so please consider this too when you look at your current points total, as it will not be added on the leaderboard until the end of this turn, although you do have it now.

Abdul Al-Salami, despite passing GO!, does not pick up the 10000 points, due to an event card which contradicts this bonus.

However, I regret to announce that due to inactivity, Moon McNamee is evicted from this sign-up with immediate effect.

If anyone wishes to take over his assets, please inform me IMMEDIATELY. First to do so will take over, but you MUST pledge to be active in this sign-up.

If you're up for it then you're welcome to. What would you like your businessman's name to be? You'll inherit Moonshine's club (Millwall) as well as points - currently 44744 (including the points gained for passing GO!)

Well now there are no regrets! :p

Matt Flamers it is - the associate of Moon McNamee taking over the former's business empire after his sudden and unexpected disappearance. Matt Flamers is now chairman of Millwall, and has an estimated worth of £65.5M.

Hey dave think you may have got calculations wrong.

According to latest update on club values then Reading Lost Value, and preston gained value. You have them both as breaking even.

Unless i am missing something of course?? Not that it makes a huge amount of difference but wondering if the most recent club values are right before i PM you my moves :)

Oops, you were right. For some reason, I'd calculated yours wrong (from the end of the third quarter as opposed to the fourth) but not anybody elses'. The most recent club values were always right, it was in the profit calculations I had made my mistake.

What can I say, I had a bad night! :p Cheers for pointing out all these mistakes guys, don't think any less of me for making them all! It's the middle of exams and my brain is tired from all the learning I've been doing to make up for missing so many lectures.. it's been a bit slow lately!

I forgot to update your board position before I rolled the dice for this turn Biscotti, so you're very right. Very honest too. I'll change that now, and with that I'm afraid you don't have that extra 10k points this turn.

Any chances of this being revived? I realise a lot of the participants may have drifted away during the outage, but it was a great concept and was barely getting started

I accidently overwrote the main save file when looking at one from three updates earlier for information. So that, as well as the delay and that means I'm having to end it for now. :( I enjoyed doing it too, so you can be sure that a while down the line, most likely with FM2012, it will make a revival.

I've just begun another sign-up now based on one I did in 2009 which will see me through until the end of FM11. Feel free to check it out if you like, and I'm sorry about this one ending!

I believe Cuddlefish was the first of about 4 people to do that in the space of a few days, so yes, he gets the credit :p

Shame about the save, but I shall hold out hope for the FM12 version :D Not in the market for signing up to anything new (unless it looks really really good), so I'll pass on the OFL for now

Is that the term for it now? ;)
